In a never ending battle for the source of their magic, the Air Fae's hold on Norvailia has never been more at risk. With an exiled prince, power hungry kings, and an army of Fire Fae marching towards the mountain, the hope of unifying the fae kingdoms is hanging by a thread.
When everything went wrong, Ryn thought all hope was lost. Being held as a prisoner queen was not what she had in mind when she was sent into the marriage trials. Meanwhile, Deliya has finally made it home to Akorus. As she uncovers more and more secrets and lies she has been told, she has never felt more in danger. And with Bek's fate unknown to her as he deals with his own brother's growing madness, Deliya must discover what is real for herself.

I was so excited to return to this world and these characters again! Watching Ellis fight at every turn for Ryn’s love and safety while always support her as his queen was probably my favorite part. He’s the greenest green flag. Their story was less spicy in this book but was more about adapting and understanding each other.
Bek and Deliya’s love story continues to grow as everyone is fighting to unite the fae. They have some unexpected power shifts and I was all the way here for that! Oh, and the broom closet? Bek you make me blush!
I enjoyed the banter and world building of book one so much, but expected a little more adventure from this book. I wanted more about the Elvorian and wanted more drama during the battles at the end.
As always, the author did such a great job keeping you hooked while reading. The strong FMCs always kept me entertained and I enjoyed the multiple view points throughout the story.
I think if I had to choose a fae kingdom, I’d want to be a land fae but I’d want to stick with Ryn and her friends!
I adored all of these characters and how they all came together for the greater good. Bek and Del will forever be my favorite power couple in this realm. The ups and downs throughout the story kept me guessing but gave so much value to the plot. I love that everything came full circle and loose ends were addressed by the end of the book. Excited to see what else Felicity comes up with inside of Norvailia.
What a ride this book was! I loved following the story and I can’t wait for what’s next in this world. I throughly enjoyed all the characters and everything they went through!
