The Worst Bedtime Book in the Whole Entire World: A Seriously Silly Story for Kids

Rate this book
🌙 This IS the WORST Bedtime Book in the Whole Entire World

Bedtime = sweet dreams, cozy cuddles, and drifting off to sleep, right?

WRONG.

Because Nameless the Rock is NOT TIRED.
And he REFUSES to go to bed.

😑 There’s a clown.
😴 There’s a mysterious Snoozerpuff.
🎃 And yes, Jerry Pumpkins randomly shows up (he’s not in every book… just enough to cause problems).

But no matter what anyone says or does, Nameless isn’t having it.
Will he finally fall asleep?
Will bedtime be a complete disaster?
Or will the Snoozerpuff work its sleepy magic?

What we do
Kids CAN’T STOP LAUGHING.

💤 Parents Are Yawning (from laughing so hard):
🗣️ “My kid asked to read this at bedtime... then stayed up quoting it.”
🗣️ “This book made bedtime fun again—even if nobody fell asleep.”
🗣️ “Finally, a bedtime story that isn’t boring. We’re obsessed.”

Silly Book

This book was fun and silly and it reminded me of the book “there is a monster at the end of this book!” My son has been enjoying this “worst” series very much! Great for young preschool age kids.

So cute

My boys loved this story. They really don't like bedtime so this story was a fantastic. It also reminded them of the sesame Street book there's a monster at the end of the book.

Another fun worst book

We always love enjoying some of joey akers books. This one was fun and imaginative, and I'll be honest, I yawned multiple times while we're reading it. I was ready to turn the page and slee0

so funny

I was laughing more at this book than my son was. “You could’ve just said it’s time for bed.” Had me tickled. It’s such a good book.

Cutest darn book ever. The artwork is great. The story is great. However, this is certainly not a bedtime story. We ended up laughing through most of it.

This book is so ridiculous—it’s hilarious! The Worst Bedtime Book in the Whole Entire World turns the idea of a bedtime story on its head in the best way possible. Joey Acker’s playful, over-the-top humor makes it a laugh-out-loud experience for both kids and adults.

The interactive style keeps readers engaged, especially those "not-so-sleepy" kids who need something unexpected to hold their attention. The absurdity is the point, and it works wonderfully. If you're looking for a bedtime book that's more about giggles than yawns, this one definitely delivers.
