Love and a Glimpse of Heaven: A Christian Romance Novel

Rate this book
Nala Carter is a woman after God’s own heart. She’s beautiful, humble, and generous — an all-round good person. But that doesn’t make her perfect. She’s had her demons in her past, yet she’s fought and conquered them. When she meets handsome car dealership owner, Aaron, she’s pleasantly surprised that he has a heart for God that is just as humble as her own. There’s definitely a mutual attraction between the two, but in the end, can a moment of generosity spark and ignite heaven on Earth for Nala and Aaron?

I'm PISSED 😡

This book stressed me out so bad!! I'm sitting here cussing up a storm (I do that a lot) which I hadn't been doing since reading these books, SKIPPING pages (that pissed me off), and angrily having a conversation with God about how this book had more drama than the regular romance novels I usually read! I'm not gonna lie. I hated this book. Yeah I said hate. Can't believe it either. I'm not even sure I can finish the series. I'm fuming. I'm not a stranger to mental illness or addiction, however, Taretha, you write about some real live deranged-tail people and I'm sick of it!!! This is the second book I've ever read that had me skipping pages and skimming through paragraphs and I don't like that. I suppose if this were a movie people would pause Taretha for great writing skills because of how much it pissed me off. IIIIIII am not the type of person who can appreciate something like that. Art or not. Don't piss me off. I expected some riffs in the water because that's life and God never promised an easy life, but these people really are DERANGED and I'm sick of it! At least in regular romance people die for their transgressions 😂. Bye I'm done.

What an amazing story that not only entertained but reinforced my faith and took me to my bible to study. The major and minor characters were clearly outlined and played their specific role. I enjoyed this book and the plot was smooth and i felt like i was watching a movie.
I do not know how long the author has been writing, i have been reading her books since December 2020. I enjoy her series and have appreciated her books. Reading the last several books of two series the author has demonstrated and exhibited her very articulate manner of superior expression.

Good story line but too much inappropriate language. I don't feel the curse words were necessary.

good read

A very good read about a deep faith and love even when the odds are against you and a deep misguided hate
