Haunted by her past and impassioned by the crimes of her estranged family, Sister Imperator embarks on a new path of justice for those hurt by men like her stepfather. While on her dark and bloody journey, she finds solace in her lover Nihil, the music of Ghost, and the message they spread. But even as she is focused on her mission of vengeance, she is confronted with hard choices about those she holds most dear…
Ghost creator and frontman Tobias Forge partners with writer Corinna Bechko, artist Puste, colorist Thiago Rocha, and ComiCraft’s Jimmy Betancourt to shed some light on a shadowy past from deep within the Ghost mythos.
Okay I really liked this one. It’s so cool to see her as the force behind Ghost and learning the reason she created it and killing terrible men ❤️ But there’s still a lot of lore discrepancies and since these are considered canon I really think Tobias needs a better editor or someone to remind him of the lore HE created 💀
I hope we get to see Primo, Secondo, and Terzo in the next one. If we don’t it’s okay… but I will loose my mind. I also need to know why Copia and Perpetua got separated if Marika took both of them. Like how did that happen? Why don’t they remember each other? I need answers 😭
there is no way to read this series as a ghost fan and not feel like the "pepe silvia" meme while connecting the dots and filling in gaps with the existing lore.
The story still feels a little more disjointed than it should be… like there should be more to the story just to make it flow a little better.
Sister Imperator is beating up and killing bad men in her spare time. And Nihil is cheating on her during his spare time…
Sister Imperator feels a strong need to punish men who use their power and strength against women and children. She’s something of an avenging angel.
Nihil is a growing in fame and uses that to his advantage.
Sister finally has enough and asks Nihil to leave. Then later she discovers that she is pregnant. She gives birth to twins (Cardi and V), but leaves them with Marika (Nihil’s sister) to raise while she goes back to avenging.

I wish there was more in this edition. It felt a little rushed especially with the last comic right around the corner. I’m still very excited to see how it goes!!
I still don't quite know what's going on, since this series directly contradicts a lot of Tobias's established lore, but you know what I'm having fun and I don't care! It's especially cool to see Sister going all vigilante! What a badass! Her relationship with Nihil is so fraught and interesting, and the babies! Oh, the babies! I'm gonna be so sad when this series ends!
