I don’t think I was the right target audience for this book. I don’t like bratty heroines, so I spent the first half of the book not liking Jan very much. And I don’t enjoy seeing punishments given when I don’t agree with the reasons for them. That meant that I didn’t like Bryan very much for most of the second half of the book. I did appreciate that this story spent a lot of time showing us Jan’s conflicted feelings between domestic discipline and her free spirit. It was nice to see some explanations on how these seemingly opposites can coexist.
I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout as part of the box set.

Submitting To Bryan Heart, Body and Soul
Janis Lincoln and Bryan Walsh are co-architects at the company owned by her brother in law. They are dating and as they start talking about marriage he shares with her the type of marriage he expects to have will include domestic discipline. She isn't sure she can go along with that. The first time he spanks her she demands he leaves and it is over. She decides to go back to her clubbing ways with her old college friends, even going out with an old flame who is big into partying and heavy drinking. Refusing to let her drive after he has been drinking, they get into an argument, he losing control of the car, goes over an embankment where he is killed on impact, and she is in unconscious for two days. She knows that she has to change her ways and she and Bryan agree to continue their relationship and become engaged and take their relationship to a physical level. But rocky roads are ahead, his parents want him to marry Lindsey whom they have raised in their home since her parents died when she was three. Can Bryan and Janis make their relationship work when she is unsure of his demands of domestic discipline, his parents against the marriage, questioning the relationship between him and Lindsey and the insecurity on her part. Is love enough for them to make it.

Janis is a free spirited young woman, she falls in love with her handsome coworker Bryan. He's perfect for her except he has rules she has to follow in their marriage. She retreats into her old party girl ways. When a tragedy happens will Janis be able to make things right with Bryan or is it already too late? After reading Accepting His Terms I dived right into this one.

In Accepting His Terms we're introduced to Janis who is Jill's sister and Bryan who is Jarrod's best friend and coworker, Janis also works with them. One thing that I loved about this series is that all the characters are so close and they are all reoccurring characters which I love in a series. I felt really bad for Janis, she's confused about what she wants and then goes through a tragedy that personally would always leave me feeling guilt. I'm glad she finally realized what she wanted. What bugged me was that everyone kept calling her immature and I didn't think she was. She was young, confused and we all make mistakes. I loved that Bryan was patient with her but I didn't feel like she overreacted over his parents and another part of the book which I won't spoil.

I enjoyed reading this book because of the connection I felt between all the characters. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book. I wasn't sure how I would feel about Lyndsey but by the end I really liked her.

I liked this book more than the first one. To me, there was more background and more description. We met Jan and Bryan in the last book. Jan is Jill’s sister. Bryan is an architect at Jarrod’s company. Jan and Bryan have been working together and dating for over a year. Bryan thinks that Jan is immature and impulsive. He wants to have a domestic discipline relationship to help her when she makes hasty decisions. Jan is not sure that she wants that kind of relationship. At first, she breaks up with Bryan and starts going out with her college friends. But, she soon realizes that she has matured past this behavior and wants to move on. There is a tragedy and they have to work past that. They do manage to get back together and start to plan their wedding. But, then there are problems with Bryan’s family. I liked this story. I don’t agree with some of the times that Bryan spanked Jan. I really didn’t think she deserved it, even though they are very mild. But, both Jan and Bryan are very likeable characters. I give this story 5 stars.

From the name of this book I had a totally different idea of what it was going to be about. I assumed that it was going to be heavily into the BDSM scene. However, I was mistaken. Submitting to Bryan was a gentler introduction into an area that most of us are not familiar with and think of as Taboo. This story was a beautifully written love story about two people who have different views on how a relationship should work. There are a lot of misunderstandings between the main characters and I tended to lean toward one more than the other even when I understood the others point of view. I found this story to be easy to follow and the characters were very real and easy to relate too. The narrative was well written and I enjoyed meeting Bryan and Jan.

I have finished reading Submitting To Bryan by Isabella Kole and was absolutely impressed by this second work by this author. Janis Lincoln and Bryan Walsh are the principle characters. Janis loves Bryan and Bryan loves Janis but Janis is younger than Bryan and somewhat impetuous. Will Janis's "wild side" derail a future with Bryan. I thought the characters were very well developed and the storyline was believable. The other thing that I enjoyed about this story were the twists and turns that were incorporated into the stop. Not only do I give this book 5 stars but I also give it my unwavering recommendation.

I was thrown off by the title when I started reading, but at the end I thought it suited the book. At first I was on Janis' side because she wanted to remain independent and wanted to jump back into her "wild side", however, that soon changed. I realized that Janis was being a brat and was just trying to act out versus really taking into account what Bryan had to offer. The situation with Bryan's family was just awful! Poor Janis! I wish that there might have been a bit more to the story, but it was a good quick read. :-)

Young and wild are great. But not after you've already grown up. When decisions are made (good or bad), consequences always follow to bite you in the ass.
Janis learns this the hard way. It's never a good idea to go back when you've gone so far forward. Especially when you have a man like Bryan right in front of you.
Page after page, tempers sizzle. But you hope Janis comes around to the present before she completely loses her future.

This book rocked my socks off. It's a hot, dramatic, suspenseful, romantic read. Can Janis accept what Bryan is trying to give her or will her stubbornness cost her more than she bargains for? This book was really well written, fantastic story about two people who are meant to be together. I highly recommend it.

Holds your attention - realistic read, interesting twists in the plot.

This is the story of Janis and Bryan. With all couples there are compromises to be made.
A story of "discipline," maturity, and understanding that things are not always straight and narrow.

Great story - a story I would recommend and do!

As always Isabella Kole hits it out of the park. Janis Lincoln is a free spirit taking no one's stuff but can she change for Bryan Walsh? Is she willing to change for her one true love. Sit back and enjoy this amazing HOT read. There are many emotions in this book. Highly recommended.
