Rounding Third #2

Safe at Third

Rate this book
this story includes both explicit language about sex and graphic depictions of sex itself. It’s more R-rated than the PG “Rounding Third” on which it is based.

Not the sequel to the critically acclaimed “Rounding Third,” incorporating the main character from his novel, Walter G. Meyer has used parts of “Triple Play” as a free short story as part of The Real Story Safe Sex Project. The Real Story is an-all volunteer organization created by Brent Hartinger and dedicated to using entertainment and popular culture to spread the word about HIV/AIDS and safe sex to gay and bi male teens and twentysomethings. This excerpt is not lifted intact from “Triple Play,” but is woven together from various parts of the book along with new material written specifically for this project to form a narrative whole. Look for the “Rounding Third” sequel “Triple Play” later this year. Since the publication, of “Rounding Third” with its powerful message about bullying, Walter G. Meyer has been traveling the country speaking about bullying and LGBT awareness and “Safe at Third” is a chance for him to use the characters to talk about safer sex and getting tested.

Rob Wardell is starting college and his new life and quickly meets Bryan Murray, a music major who wants to go out for the baseball team. Rob and Bryan have instant chemistry and before they can make beautiful music together, will they be able to get past second base?

Short, but really erotic, to a certain extend. I cannot recall if the first book was this thrilling when it came to sex.
