This was my first time reading author Elle Boon but I can honestly state that it will not be the last. I enjoyed Jaklyn’s Saviors the third installment of the Ravens of War series. I was able to jump right in and understand what was happening so it isn’t necessary to have read the prior books in this series. Now as to why I found this story so enjoyable, one word respect. I thought Ms. Boon gave us a strong female character in Jaklyn but I adored how her men respected her strength. They were willing to battle their protective natures to support Jaklyn and let her fight her own battles. The respect wasn’t one sided either. Jaklyn was afraid of what Gray and Colt would mean to and for her but she didn’t disregard their feelings. She ran but quickly understood they made her feel safe, safe enough to make a stand. I admired her ability to recognize and accept the strength she gained through loving both men. I also loved the relationship Gray and Colt had not only with each other but with their brothers in arms. It was irreverent, loyal and respectful, again that word, but it fits. They knew they could depend of their brothers so they were able to focus on protecting their fated one. I enjoyed entering this world created by Ms. Boon. She gave us fully developed characters and a well written story. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
Just finished it and I'm in love with this book! The story pulls you in and you never want to leave! Jaklyn is a wonderful character and her warriors are awesome! Some of the things that happen are like a punch to the gut and it made me cry. I couldn't have asked for a better story or a better ending for jaklyn! This series just gets better and better!
She's known abuse since she was a child. When Fate steps in she runs. However, they find each other but evil never rests. Will they defeat the Evil after them or lose everything they love to it? Elle Boon has written a beautiful story. The characters are phenomenal. The ending to this story you'll love.
I love Jacklyn and her boys. Jacklyn has the attitude most women strive for, lol. She is good and keeping her cousins (which I love they had me LOL way to much) in line and doesnt put up with anyone's BS. I cant say to much without giving it away but WHOLLY HOTNESS
I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.
To be honest, I didn't realize this was a shifter book, until I picked it up. I like skipping synopsis so that I can be surprised sometimes. It was a bit hard for me to get into a first as I didn't read the first two in the series. There is SO many characters (Ravens, Shifters, Humans) it became difficult to keep track of who was who and what relationship they were in with regard to each other. I don't know if this would've been better if I'd read the first two in the series (most likely) but once we got into the meat of the story it was easier to figure it out for the most part. There were things that were mentioned from past books, but for the most part I would say this could be a stand alone book.
Overall, I LOVED the men and Jaklyn. She's fierce as are they. I think was a bit awkward in the beginning because she was 'running' from them only to completely give in, which didn't make sense to me. As a three way couple, they were quite hot and made having a unique relationship work, although in their world its not so unique.
The writing flowed very well and the book was edited great. I would most definitely pick up another book from this author and this series even though paranormal is outside of my normal genre.
"I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads."
This is the third in the series, but can be read as a standalone - there are some references which may be more valuable with background, but not detrimental to the story.
In this paranormal romance, we get to meet a number of different beings which means there are quite a lot of possible interactions between characters. I enjoyed that, although sometimes it was confusing! The latest pair of Ravens to find their fated one are Gray and Colt. Jaklyn has a difficult past, and not easy present - her future has to better with those two in it, and we find out just how hot it will be too! The journey to get there is fraught with danger, but thanks to the rest of the Ravens and a few Gods/Goddesses, things will have to work out - won't they?
The writing style is good, the men are gods (or as near as) and the heat levels endanger the Kindle - a fun read!
I read Jaklyn's Saviors without having read the first two and am happy to report that I was not lost. While the initial meeting of the characters happened in a previous book, it is explained in this book, as well as the background of other previous characters who return. This title begins a new adventure for Jaklyn, Gray and Colt as they return to her pack to fight her dead father who has risen with Cronus' help. An abusive father and husband, the spirit of her dad is now pure evil. Friends Link, Abe, and Tank provide comic relief for a horrific backstory, while the bonding between Jacklyn, Colt, and Grey provides a hopeful future that Jacklyn comes alive and fight for.
The Ravens are quite the attentive lovers, each with a distinct personality. Jaklyn is put through a roller coaster of emotions by the author, which her mates help her to ride through. The supporting characters are also fleshed out. I can't wait to read their stories and see where love takes them. The loving banter between Zeus and Hera, appearing in a parental role, softens the usual mythology allusions, creating a feeling of family, brotherhood, and warmth.
This was an interesting Paranormal Romance. I enjoy the "menage" stories with men claiming their mates. Or vice versa. Jaklyn certainly didn't sit around and wait to be claimed. She gave her men a run for their money. With a sadistic father who should be dead and some crazy things happening with her pack, it was great to see Colt and Gray stand next to her. I'm loving the twins. Abe and Link are funny and I'm dying to know if they get books or not too! Those two would make a great spin off outside of the Ravens. Either way, this book was hot, sexy and a fun read! At some points it dragged a little. Explanations were repeated. But in all, it's a fun read. If you like your sex steamy and your shifters a little crazy, this is a great read! Even if you haven't read the first two books in the series, this book was certainly stand alone. I haven't read them and didn't feel too out of the loop!
I have been waiting for Jaklyn's book for a while. We first met her in Hell saving the day. And now she has Ravens of her own to love. Gray and Colt finally find their Fated and she poofs on them. They go to her pack and find wolves who are like brothers to Jaklyn, but to me they are more like the three stooges. God, I hope they find one woman to share.....hint hint Elle!!!!
After having a horrible childhood, Jaklyn finally finds her HEA with two totally hot Ravens. Together, they solve a mystery and defeat an enemy from Jaklyn's past.
I loved this story. It was action packed, but yet had you believing that there is love and passion out there for everyone, you just have to find them first. 5 Hearts!
P.S. Zeus and Hera are still my favorite characters! Novella of them pleasssssssssssssssssssssssee!!!!!
This is Jaklyn, Colt, and Gray story. OMG lol what a story. Jaklyn has s ars that run deep on the inside and outside so it makes since she's wary of mating not one but two big sexy demi God's. When Jaklyn's ghosts literally come back from the grave to destroy her and her pack it's up to the Ravens to help save them all. Omg I loved this series. I can't wait for the next one. Y'all have got to check this series out. It's hands down one of my all time favorite. Go get your demi God's on. Lol love it.
Wow, I honestly think that this is my favorite book in the series so far, Jaklyn is such a strong character despite all that live has thrown at her, her two men are wonderful, strong, protective, caring, her father is another story entirely. Absolutely loved this book and can't wait to read more in the series, so many characters in this book I want to know more about, hope that they turn up in future books
I love this story. It has all the right components in making it an amazing read. You take Jaklyn, Gray and Colt together and things get hot enough to melt the pages. But there’s also a lot of funny moments in the way of the twins Abe and Link with there best friend Tank. Those guys are hilarious. But in all seriousness this story will have you hanging on for a wild ride. This whole series is already a favorite and have me anxiously waiting for the next book in the series to come out..
Jaklyn has wolf blood in her but can't shift. Her and her cousins helped Selena escape from Hell. As a child her father beat her and left scars on her back. He almost killed Jaklyn the last time and the pack killed him. Colt and Gray are part of Zeus' Ravens and know that Jaklyn is their Fated mate. She runs from them and they track her down. An unknown enemy is stalking them and Colt and Gray will protect her or die trying. But Jaklyn isn't one to sit on the sidelines. Cronus has given Jaklyn's father some of his blood and he is half wolf and half something grotesque. It'll take the Ravens, some Gods and Goddesses and the wolves to destroy her father and his minion pack.
Loved it. Action and lots of explicit sex. This one cracked me up.
Elle Boon has done it again ! The writing is out of this world ,with demigods , Zeus and shifters . Jaklyn Marx was a child abuse survivor , a wolf shifter who had never shifted .Cotrain(Colt) Mercury and Grayson(Gray) Phine are demigods created by Zeus part of 12 warriors called The Ravens to defeat his father and protect t Mount Olympus . Colt and Gray have been searching for their fated one for thousands of years . After finding each other Jacklyn's father comes back from the dead to kill Jaklyn with deranged group of his followers . This is a well written story with lots of action and erotic romance .
Now this book was full of one surprise after another, Jaklyn ran from home to not only have some me time but to try and out run her feelings for both Gray and Colt. Little did she know that they would end up rescuing her from her dead father who blamed her for his death. This story had so much twists and turns, it was intense, captivating, drama packed. But the unlikely surprise was when Gray was severely injured who was able to heal him
At begining of the book we learn about Jaklyn's childhood, about abuse from her father. She was the one of the people to help free Selena from Cronus, she met Gray and Colt then. They know she is their fated, she fights it and run away. After they find her, they relize that something is bothering her, they learn that her dead father visit her in her sleep. Now they have to find a way to stop him before he kills her. Another great book by Mrs. Boon. Loved storyline and characters.
Third book in the series... I love em! A fun read with lots of bada$$ Ravens that have amazing abilities. Strong women who like to kick butt just as much as the men do. Lots of sex and loads of romance while fighting to save the world from demons and many wolves. Highly recommend!😊
Zeus and those 3 boys r freaking funny as hell!! Lol I don't quite understand why she ran away but it's good they talked sum sense into her. What her dad did 2 her in the past and tried 2 do in future is beyond wrong and he needs beyond just a beat down but at least they saved a few innocents in the process.
Gray and Colt were Ravens of War. But also fated mates to Jaklyn and non shifter wolf. She received more than two men devoted to her. This was the third book in this series. Awesome series, lots of love, sex and battles. This series the women find that there is more to themselves then they knew.
I loved seeing Jaklyn not only get her wolf back, 2 hot sexy men but also her Mom. It was also great to see the pairing of the rest of the Ravens to their Fated.
Another great book by this author. The only issue I had was when she used words like beotch and other stupid and immature words that I don't feel the characters would have really said. Especially the ravens, I found it detracted something from the story.
This is the third book in the Ravens of War series and can be read as a standalone (but characters from the other books in this series do make an appearance). I loved the characters and how well written they are. I can't wait to read the next book in this series!
This had so many great parts of it. You will laugh, shake your head and put a smile on your face. I just loved reading this book. I can't wait to read the next book
I went into this book knowing I was not a huge shifter fan nor did I understand a lot of the elements for a shifter story. I do try to explore genre’s that don’t appeal to me so I won’t miss a great book on preconceived notions that I won’t like it. I admit, the beginning of this book left me fearful that I was in over my head and was going to spend more time convincing myself to finish it than being able to sit back and just enjoy, but that didn’t last long. My fear wasn’t from the story, it was from me trying to figure out what this shifter stuff was all about. The author’s plot alone kept me engaged and turning pages and soon I was at the end of the book feeling pleasantly surprised that I really enjoyed a shifter story. Once you read the synopsis you get the general idea in regards to what you are heading into. What the synopsis doesn’t tell you is about the characters. If I were to describe Jaklyn to one of my friends it would be a young woman who was dealt a crappy hand in life. A mother who is gone, an abusive father who blames her for the mother’s disappearance and a family trait that is not present in Jaklyn that results in her not being accepted by her own clan. With the missing “tradition” in her life, she is fearful of anyone from family and the friends of that family to ever accept and love her, yet there are two men who do. I also gathered that she was seeking out answers for how her life became so crazy and needed to have those missing pieces, but before she found them, people started coming back into her world and it became a mess to navigate through. Colt and Grayson, members of the Raven’s and also werewolves, knew that Jaklyn was their mate from the beginning but they were so overcome with their desire and attraction to her they missed the signs that she wasn’t a normal clan member. That didn’t stop them though, they had to find her when she ran away. Now both of those men gave the story not only a sense of alpha male protection and love but they were comical and continue to draw me in page by page. Not to mention they were pretty sexy and knew how to treat a woman, they also knew how to teach her that the power she felt she was lacking was inside of her all the time. The love scenes were steamy hot and were written with more than sex in mind, you were able to see the connection and relationship grow between the three of them. When danger comes back and stares Jaklyn in the face, they dedicated their lives to make sure she knew they would protect her. I see that there are two books prior to this one in the “series” but the author did not write one book dependent on the others. While there is a common thread throughout the whole series, I found I could read Jaklyn’s Saviors as a standalone and not be lost due to missing details. She gave us a great set of strong characters that were easy for me as a non-shifter fan to still connect with due to the human elements that she included in the story. Let’s face it, emotions are a universal language and there were plenty of emotions in this book. The writing style was strong and I didn’t have any long moments of feeling like the story was dragging. Well-paced, with enough information to educate the newbie to a shifter story, and packed with interesting events and drama, I would recommend this book to the readers.

Jaklyn's Saviors (Ravens of War #3)
It is always a joy to read Elle Boon Books i adore them all, i was over joyed to be able to review this book and was not disappointed Elle brings this certain magical touch to al her books which as a reader i no we love.
Jaklyn Marx had to learn at a young age what pain was at the hands of her viscous father. For seventeen years she'd lived with all the physical scars as well as the torment, and the knowledge that she was a latent wolf.
Then she meets these two men who claim she was meant to be theirs, so she has no other choice than to run. Gray and Colt have been searching long and hard for their Fated for thousands of years. When she runs from them they are prepared to do anything to find her and keep her forever, even call on a goddess to help. Just when the trio has finally found happiness a demon from their past threatens to destroy them.
Jaklyn point blank refuses to allow her father to take anything else from her, especially her new found love for the two men who have saved her past, present, and future. They will all need more than just love to defeat Seamus and his tainted pack. They will need the help of all the Ravens and a god or two in order to destroy something that Cronus created.
This Book is a Fantastic read i could not put it down, the story line is genius, You can read Jaklyn’s Saviors as a standalone and not get lost because you haven't read the other books to this series. Elle gives us an immense set of characters that were easy for me to connect with, as well as the human elements that are included in this book.
Both of the men give this story a great sense of alpha male and protection as well as love, they were both extremely comical and continued to pull me in through out the story. Of course they are sinfully sexy and know how to treat there woman in the right manner and way. they were so great at teaching Jaklyn that the power she has felt that she was always lacking was inside of her all the time.
Jaklyn she is full of sassiness and is so not a shrinking violet, she brings us so much and more and makes this book even greater.
One of the things i truly adored about this book was the emotions that was so well used and written. Elle writing style is always spot on and well paced. This book is packed with allot of interesting events and of course some drama.
The intimate scenes were scorching hot and were written with much more than just sex in mind, you were able to see this connection and relationship form and grow between them in to something truly beautiful.
A Favourite part of mine.
“Man, I feel like we just fell into a rabbit hole or some s***.” “Fine, I’ll call you Alice, but I’m the Mad Hatter.” Colt grinned.
I highly recommend this book to all.
5 Out Of 5 Fangs From Paranormal Authors That Rock
Let me start by saying that I love a great paranormal series. Shifters, Greek Gods, Demons, Devils, Hot Warriors, HOT and SEXY scenes with the Heros and their ladies. Well Elle Boon's Ravens of War is that series and Jaklyn's Saviors is just another perfect addition to this amazing series.
I have wanted to know more about Jaklyn since she made her first appearance in Selena's Men and again in Two for Tamara. Again this story picks up where Two for Tamara left off.
Colton and Grayson are looking for their fated, and they know that it is Jaklyn. When they are unable to mentally connect with her, they call in every marker that they have and enlist the help of everyone that they can think of to try and find her.
Jaklyn is running scared. She has feelings for both Colt and Gray, but being part of a wolf shifter pack, even though she herself can not shift, she know that it is not accepted for her to be mated to two men. But that doesn't mean that she doesn't think about it ALOT!
When her very abusive, very dead father comes back to try and finish what he started years ago, it will take Gray, Colt, the rest of the Ravens and an entire wolf pack to keep her safe.
What I loved about Jaklyn is that despite her past, the beatings and scars that she carries as a result of her father, she is strong. She never gives up. She is fierce and protective of her family, and of both Colt and Gray. I loved the the way that Colt and Gray treated her as an equal. Yes, they protected her, but they also allowed her to make her own decisions and did the best that they could to allow her to stand on her own, and help fight the battle against her father.
Abe, Link and Tank are roll on the floor funny and the female demons from Tamara's book had me snorting they were so funny. If you are looking for a GREAT paranormal series then I would highly recommend the Ravens of War series. Although they can be read as stand alone books, I would highly recommend that you read them in order so that you really get the full effect of the characters, the humor, and the battles that they are up against.
Raven warrior demi-gods Grayson Phine and Coltrain Mercury fulfilled their duty towards Zeus, as well as their brother warriors by defeating the mighty Cronos. Balance has been restored for the gods and the time has come to claim their fated mate. At the height of their battle their mate was revealed in wolf shifter Jaklyn Marx. Her actions helped to protect Zeus’s daughter and send Cronos back to Hell before she disappeared back to her home on Earth.
Abandoned by her mother and brutalized by her father Seamus because she was unable to shift the only love Jaklyn knew growing up was from her aunt and best friend twin brothers, Link and Abe Adams. Their wolf pack was unique in also sharing a gypsy heritage. Picking up their lives and moving their trailer homes to other sites was a way of life for them. When Seamus almost whipped Jaklyn to death at nine the pack finally took permanent action against the black hearted wolf.
Though Jaklyn is unable to shift she does have other talents the pack honor, such as seeing glimpses of the future. Knowing that her mates are coming for her Jaklyn leaves the safety of the pack. The last thing she wants is to be bound to anyone at this point in her life, least of all two mates. Mentally blocking Gray and Colt from finding her is frustrating her persistent mates. What Jaklyn is unable to see in the future however is that she desperately needs Gray and Colt, to love her and to protect her from Seamus who is back from the dead and gunning for his little girl.
Jaklyn’s Saviors are hot, hotter, and sizzling hottest when loving their one and only mate. Bold adventures are balanced within a pulse pounding suspenseful plot where the large cast of characters battle and love until the last page ends. Gray and Colt bare their souls to gain Jaklyn’s trust. Once united their passions burn bright. Jaklyn’s Saviors can be read as a standalone book, but it would be better to read the series in order since characters from previous books take part in this plot. There’s something for everyone to enjoy in Jaklyn’s Saviors.
