Wayne had often listened to tales of men disappearing around the fringes of Holly Grove. He never imagined he would become one of those missing men. However, when he awakens, he finds himself floating in zero gravity, staring into the eyes of a woman like no other. Her cosmic gaze captivates him, and before he realizes it, he faces a pivotal choice.
From extreme horror and splatterpunk author comes a new tale of love, romance, and sci-fi she has dubbed a palate cleanser.
Other works by this author include Dollface, Puppet, Eight Cases of Jane, Vasectomy, and Madness in Tandem.
Hoo doggies, that was a blast! Wayne, our lead, is one lucky SOB. I mean, whose wildest dreams don't entail a perfect green woman, Hazel, who loves to feed on one's genetic material? Or 'spunk' to the layperson. Green is my favorite color, so I was game for this adventure. It was like an erotic version of Star Wars, with extra emphasis on the sex. The author had a lot of fun writing this, which was great to see. And one of my biggest complaints with the multitude of monster-related and strange fetish erotica that I read is the lack of creativity. Whether it's a teddy bear who grows into a man, a lamp that's up to no good, or whatever other weird content I find, the sex is always so pedestrian. Ryan J. Powell really used their imagination and made all of Hazel and Wayne's encounters really memorable and unique. From the dialogue ('I'm completing!') to the sexual acts to the different physiologies interacting, I thought this was all just great. Again, lots of fun and a nice mix of science fiction and erotica that a casual fan of either genre could enjoy.
I very much enjoy RJ's normal works of splatterpunk and extreme horror but THIS ONE RIGHT HERE?! This is a beautiful work of art, despite being a sci-fi erotic story instead of her norm. I've read nearly all of her books and this one takes the cake.
This had a decent amount of spice and a great plotline.
This book, in reviews and even by the author, is often discussed as a palate cleanser. Powell is generally known for books that are hyper violent and dark. This book, by contrast, is about love. It reminds me of The Shape Of Water in that a human male falls in love with an alien woman. It’s beautiful, unashamed of being erotic, and completely different from any Powell book I’ve read. It’s all about connection. It’s about love. Perhaps my favorite
1. Feeler Deeper 2. Madness in Tandem 3. Eight Faces of Jane 4. Vasectomy 5. Dollface ( the trilogy)
When RJ told me that she wrote alien smut, I said “Gimmie!” Although I’ve read some alien smut before it this was my first alien woman & human male combo, and it was great!
This was also my first MPreg book… that was wild! 😂 I was definitely concerned as to how that was gonna work, but he shit that alien egg out like a pro!
Loved that he was definitely a stereotypical man playing video games when she put him in the gunner seat to help fight off the bad aliens “just call me Star Fox” had me rolling!
Overall sweet story of a man falling for an alien woman, and having a baby together!
🌶️/5 Anatomically fascinating combos… i am fascinated by RJ’s brain and how she came up with her alien anatomy!
Sometimes I need a palate cleanser after reading so much horror and looks like RJ Powell read my mind and just released a sci-fi romance. Very spicy one may I add.
In Feeler Deep, Wayne gets abducted by an alien and soon finds out that his sole purpose is reproduction. Or so the alien thought.
It’s less than 100 pages filled with love, sexy times, and attacks in space. All this whilst waiting for the offspring to be born.
So if you’re bored of the same old smutty books, I’d advise you to try some interplanetary love and check this one out.
This book had a very quiet release, and if you weren't following the author, you probably never would've known she had a new book out. Also this is probably the cutest thing I've read since Daemon Manx's Abigail, and has cemented its place in my hall of favourite non-horror books. The only thing you need to know is that it's alien erotica and it's funny and cute at the same time. 😅
So because I want to read everything this author writes I took a little side quest from my usual horror. I just devoured some Sci-Fi Erotica & I LOVED IT! So much happening in short time deep in space. I love love love these characters, the humor, the spice, the shocks, everything. Thank you so much for this little pallet cleanser!
Having already devoured three books by Powell (Dollface, Vasectomy, and Puppet), I found that Feeler Deep differed vastly from those—and I absolutely LOVED it. This sci-fi/erotica mash-up captivates from the first page to the last. Highly recommended to all fans of intense, vivid fiction!
When someone told me to read this little palette cleanser, they used the term 'sexy alien' and it's exactly what you think it's going to be but also not at all. This was a great little read for whilst you're thinking about your life choices or pondering your next read.
I usually enjoy the extreme horror books by this author, but it was nice to have a palette cleanser, especially one that’s as good as this one was.
I wasn’t expecting to like this one as much as I did. It was just a really nice and short story that had me excited to see what would happen next.
I really liked how short and simplistic the combat was between the ships, I don’t think I would’ve been able to keep up if it was to go into really scientific terms about this spaceship doing that while this spaceship did this- Instead, the combat reminded me of a video game. Very Galaga vibes. And it was cute to see the two MC’s bonding over blasting the enemy aliens to death 😂💕
