Love is more fun when it’s Fast.

Three hot motorcycle racers saved me.

Daring, wild, athletic, they were the quintessential bad boys.

They took me under their wing until a masked racer causes the accident that tore their lives apart.

I thought I would never see them again.

Two years later, a twist of fate puts them back on my path.

My mom is getting married to their father and I’m forced to move into their house.

But them becoming my stepbrothers isn’t the only thing that has changed.

The mayor—my stepfather—made owning a motorcycle illegal within city limits, to keep us safe.

But you know how making something forbidden makes you crave that very thing even more?

Speed, races, and their very off-limits stepsister is what they want.

These men will stop at nothing to get their way. Will they prevail or will they crash and burn as fast as they ride?

Attention: this is the first book of a 𝙬𝙝𝙮𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝘼𝙙𝙪𝙡𝙩 𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙥𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙤𝙜𝙮 and ends in a cliffhanger. The heroine won’t have to choose between her different love interests. This story has 𝒉𝒐𝒕 𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒑𝒃𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒄𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔 and it’s intended for readers 18+.

╰┈➤KITTY KATS CRAZY ABOUT BOOKS

✿ 𝐅A𝐒T ✿ This is the first full length contemporary romance, reverse harem book within the (falling for them) series by new to me author Melissa Adams. This does end on a cliffy.

Characters:
Zara
Chance,
Ares & Atlas (twins)
Levin

The twins (Ares & Atlas) have mad skills when it comes to racing, their other brother Chance excels at hockey.

I’m going to say that this book is in two parts, the before and after.

Part One: Zara's at the one place where she shouldn't be and it's here where she meets all the guys when they intercept a domestic altercation between her and her boyfriend Calvin Fox another biker from the opposite team. These boys hate Calvin and his team mates with a passion. They let her tag along with them and promise to get her safely back home once the race has finished. That weekend kisses were exchanged, feelings were awoken, an instant connection between Ares, Chance & Lev, a video with Zara on the back of a bike racing went viral, a tragedy occured.

This book surprised me on many levels, I loved seeing a glimpse into the competitive side of motorbike racing, the dangers, the risks, the adrenaline rush as they hit high speeds, to the devastation when someone gets killed, and that’s what happened in the first half of this book.

Here is where I wanted to feel the emotional devastation hit me like a barrel careening out of control as it raced towards me, I wanted to get locked in those feels, but that’s where for me this missed the mark. I wanted to feel their gut wrenching pain. I wanted those feels to hurt, especially the tragedy surrounding the accident which changed one family's life forever.

But other than that I still enjoyed this story.

Part Two: After her mother sees the video of Zara's reckless behaviour on the back of a bike, which is one mothers utmost hates, she's shipped off to an all girls boarding school for two years. Then arriving back on home soil she's told by her mother that she's remarrying and that they'll be living with her new husband and his son. Imagine Zara's surprise when she finds out that her new stepbrothers to be are none other than Chance and Ares.

It doesn't take long for that all consuming attraction to ignite again between the three boys and Zara to the point that her new stepfather notices and sits his sons down and warns them to back off and that she's to be off limits to the point that if they overstep that line he's thrown down he'll disown them.

Her new step father along with her mother has banned all bikes within the town limits so watch out for book#2 because that cliffy has me craving the next book bad!! 65451226-2019570151487824-6157464638251335680-n

I was sorely disappointed with this one. I felt like the plot could have been so much better, but every time I turned a page, smut was just thrown into the scene randomly. There were 4 different perspectives to keep up with (Zara, Ares, Chance, Lev) which wasn’t really an issue except the chapters randomly switched POVs in the middle and it was a little hard to keep up.

I think if there was more time spent getting to know each character more personally this could have been a lot better. It just seemed very rushed. I found myself skimming towards the end because it was just kinda boring and I wasn’t feeling any connection to any of the characters.

I probably won’t read the next in the series because of how little depth there was to the story. :/

This was the most average book I’ve read in awhile. Like nothing spectacular. Nothing too basic. It’s like I was always disappointed.

The plot? Typical. The love interests? The usual. The dialogue? Boring af with a touch of boredom. The “world building”? Lazy yet rushed. The writing? Giving first book vibes. Like the author had an idea but maybe didn’t know the best route to execute it?

All to say is, I was bored. Even the spicy parts were lack luster. Not everyone can write eroticas or even RH books. Sometimes I just want a good RH, and I didn’t get that here sadly.

2.0 star rating for keeping my attention enough to read it. I will not be finishing the series.

PS. Who said this was dark? Cause it really isn’t.

Fast

This is the first book in this brand new world, and I am so here for it. It starts out fast-paced, and let's just say it does not disappoint.
Something things happen that separate everyone, and when they get back together? Life has changed and yet it's not. Can they overcome the obstacles? Or will they let everything stand in their way?
Can't wait to see what college throws at them.

Would I recommend? Yes

Fast was an entertaining, fast-paced read with deliciously spicy characters not afraid to keep what was important to them close. I enjoyed the dynamic between the MMCs and the FMC, their relationship, though strained after the race disaster, was strong and ready to carry on to the next book in the series. The racing aspect of the plot was fun and I am looking forward to more motorcycle action in the next books in the series! This book was a fun read and perfect for a little escape between other books on your TBR!

I absolutely loved it. The spice and plot were both amazing. I’m loving the storyline and the characters. The spice was a 4/5🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ and plot was a definite 5/5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Tropes include: RH/Why choose, motorcycle racing (but not club), and step-brothers

I'm on a treasure hunt to find me Star Cove!!!
Zara is a fierce girl who enjoys all the things her mother hates. These hobbies get her shipped off to boarding school, only to return 2 years later with a ton of changes to her life.
New Family - Thanks mom
Hot Stepbrothers - Check and Check
Sexy SB Friend - MmmHmmm
Forbidden relationships - Oh Yeah
Fast has a lot of emotions from beginning to the cliffhanger at the end and I am in for the thrill ride all way to the finish line.

In the first 84 pages of the book, the author kills off one of the MMCs in such a weird way. Some mysterious racer takes out 3 guys on the track, one of them being Atlas (one of the MMCs), who's then overtaken on the track causing Atlas to crash and die. It in no way ties into the rest of the story and it felt completely detached from the emotion of that event. It would've made more sense had Cal been the one to step in for that race, causing him a broken leg that ended his potential NHL career. I feel like a death was extreme for the level of trivialness exhibited in the beginning of the book. The writing style disappointed me as well, the characters often explained too much and gave too much exposition. It was like they were narrators of their characters, rather than living as the characters written.

The way it's written also makes it hard to see how Zara and the MMCs could ever have a relationship. She's underage, just like Chance and Lev, while Ares and Atlas are 18. Atlas is dating a 16 yr old, that in so far as we've seen is extremely jealous and possessive. I'm a sucker for a jealous girlfriend trope (w/o cheating) where they break it off, but in the end the girls become friends. It seems from skimming the rest of the book that Chance sleeps with Heather due to his grief, but Heather and Zara end up friends. Again, the emotion of Atlas's death was minimized and didn't hit.

Wow, this story was amazing, a why chose Stepbrother's story with a motorbike theme, which will have your heart racing. It's tragic at first, and things will never be the same with the loss of their brother Atles. There's so many emotions going on throughout this story, and it'll get even more complicated when they meet Zara again after two years. Things heat up between them with forbidden attraction with the Hunter brother's and Chance best friend Lev, which will definitely make you breathless. Amazing characters, and I loved Zara right from the start she's outgoing and hasn't had it easy with her mom, but she's very caring and hopefully will find a friend in Heather. Ares is more reserved and a bit more grumpy and not as outgoing as his brother Chance and Lev after losing his brother, but they definitely know how to treat Zara right. But there's always the bad guy Calvin whose out to case troubles who I absolutely disliked right from the start. And of cause Melissa is great at giving us that cliffhanger that has us speechless and wanting more. I loved it, and I can't wait to read what happens next.

"Fast" by Melissa Adams is a wild, wicked ride—and I definitely enjoyed the trip. Zara is surrounded by three dangerously irresistible men—Chance, Lev, and Ares—and the sexual chemistry? Downright explosive. Every heated glance, rough edge, and possessive moment between them is soaked in spice. It’s naughty, fast-paced, and deliciously messy—just how I like my reverse harem reads. Zara’s sass and strength shine, and the boys? Whew. Each one brings their own flavor of chaos and desire.

That said, there were moments where the story fell flat. Certain scenes lost their spark, and the pacing didn’t always flow as smoothly as I’d hoped. A few transitions felt choppy, pulling me out of the fantasy. It wasn’t enough to kill the vibe, but it did drop this from a full five-star knockout to a solid four. Still, the heat and allure more than made up for the bumps. If you're in the mood for dirty fun and bad boys with a possessive streak, Fast will have your engine roaring.

DNF 2%. It reads like a bad play.
All “tell” instead of “show,” forcing unrealistic conversations in order to convey information and exposition that easily could’ve been inferred.

It’s also repetitive, which is wild for just the first chapter.

There’s multiple sudden exclaimed dialogues and then a wordy description of the moments preceding it.
Ex: ‘Hey! Watch it!’ … and then a paragraph of what happened to make them say that.
??? Tell us what happened, and then how you responded. Like in, you know, real life.

I was hoping the girl’s perspective might be more legible, but it literally opens with the same strange arrangement of dialogue.
No, thanks.

Another great start to a stepbrother why choose series from Melissa! Zara meets Chance, Lev, and Ares, and the sparks definitely fly before tragedy strikes. Two years (and boarding school on the other side of the country) later, she finds out her mom is marrying Chance and Ares’s dad. Forbidden feelings and forbidden motorcycles make for an interesting start to college life for Zara, Chance, and Lev. Little bit of a slower burn as the story starts, but it was steamy once things got going. Watch out for the cliffy!

We're back to everyone's favourite place, Star Cove. The first part set up had me going through about 10 different emotions as we meet the characters and get a bit of backstory before we jump into the main portion of the first book. The boys are charming in their own ways but I do love Ares a little more. Those familiar with Melissa's SB RH know OF COURSE there's drama and warnings them off the FMC but it makes the build up and conclusion so worth it, watching the characters grow. Cannot wait for the next one.

Do I need to say more to convince you? Well I absolutely love this author and how well she writes her characters and this one delivers everything I am used to now. I love motorcycles and an RH with stepbrothers? Well things just got interesting for sure. Now her mom is getting married and she finds out that the guys she once knew are her stepbrothers to be. Not only that but her new stepdad? Well he banned motorcycles all together. But like all things forbidden it just makes you want to go ahead right? Great story with a lot of depth and just pulls you in. A must read!

If Melissa writes it, I'm gonna read it and love it!!!

Fast is the first book in the Falling for Them trilogy. This is a why choose stepbrother romance.

This one will have you feeling all the emotions!!!

Zara meets Chance, Ares and Lev and they have an instant connection and chemistry, but something heartbreaking happens that separates them before they can explore things. When they are brought back together, Zaras mom is marrying their dad and things get complicated.

I am so in love with this story and can't wait for more!!!!

This series kicks off with a new adventure in Star Cove.
Zara meets Ares, Chance and Levi at a MC race on the day where tragedy will change ALL of their lives forever.
2 years later, they are all reunited in a way they didn't see coming.
The tension is high, the feelings are high and the action will keep you turning pages.
This is book 1 in a trilogy and ends on a cliffie (and that is one for the history books!)
If you love sports romance of the Why Choose variete, and enjoy sports not often found, then this is a must read.

Zara is one cool chick! She can hang out with the guys just as well as the girls. She ends up meeting the Hunter Brothers and Lev by going to a race with her ex and she not only sees their true colors but also her ex. There’s kind of a Footlose vibe happening with the banning of motorcycles but it’s heartbreaking as to why. I really like the connection between Zara, Chance, Levi and Ares. The cliffhanger was really interesting I’m curious to see what happens next!

Melissa Adams has become one of my favorite RH authors and no one does sports themed romance better. I love that she focuses on a lesser known sport in Fast. It starts with a huge surprise but hang on.....the story just gets better and better. I can't wait to see what is next for our main character and the guys! This is the perfect guilty pleasure read and I devoured this first book! Pack this one in your beach bag, I promise you will love it too!

A new why choose series by Miss Adams. Zara unexpectedly meets Ares, Chance and Levi at a Motocross race. They hit it off but after tragedy strikes, all of their lives are forever changed. Fast forward to two years later and Zara finds herself moving in with her new stepfather, only to find out that the world is a lot smaller than she thought. The story is spicy, fast paced, with some darkness to it. And that ending... Miss Adams just drove us off a cliff!

Melissa Adams really knows how to write a good Stepbrother reverse harem, and I think Fast might be the best yet.

Motorbikes, street racing, super hot stepbrothers, and a Footloose inspire storyline and I'm completely sold.

This book was full of steaming hot chemistry and enough forbidden vibes to keep me engrossed.

This was a great start to another new series by Melissa Adams. I loved the storyline line between Zara, Chance Lev, and Ares and the tragedy that happens that results them being separated for two years before being reunited. If you love a motorcycle theme book then you will enjoy this series.

A story with young adults that if they wanted or do anything they went for it. The plot flows where we get to know each character and what they are hoping to achieve. Their hormones were in full swing, and the edging between them made it entertaining. Well written story that leaves us with a cliff hanger.

fast and crazy

I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this book considering it involves a sport that is not common in books. I will say it took me by surprise and had me riding a high all the way. Please be aware of the trigger warning but if you can get past them, this book is amazing.

Motorcycles and racing hearts

Good characters and spicy content. A few things stand out that it was written by a non-American and that the author has no college experience. Putting that aside, it was a fun read and I was disappointed that the story just abruptly stops and you have to download or buy the next book.
