Some people were born to write. Catherine Banks was not one of those people. Thank The Lord this godforsaken series is finally over!!! And, yup, it went about exactly where I had expected it to; Right down the toilet.

The entirety of this book was basically everyone crying over Artemis's brief period of death, her weakened condition during her two-month pregnancy (yeah, I don't know where the frack that logic came from either), and everyone getting prissy and pissy over the state of leadership throughout the races. Oh, and the All Important Battle to end all Battles? Yeah, didn't even last a page. Such a bloody waste!! But, I had expected as much.

I don't know how this "author" managed to get her crap published, but I'll be glad to never see another of her "fine works" ever again. Fare thee well to any who have the misfortune of investing their time and money into this truly pathetic series.

Why it no be out yet????? I can't find it anywhere!!!! D:

Update: Whelp, I didn't particularly like how it ended, but I guess that's mostly because I want to know how Ares and Artemis turn out. And how they deal with Achilles... but I guess I'll have to just imagine it. Haha. I loved it though. It was well done, and it was better written than the first three. I think I might be in love with Victor. :P lolololol. Man. I hope she meets Draco Blu. Like... I really really really hope she does. I feel like it was an important part of the story and of her development. Well done Catherine Banks. Well done.

I purchased this book and was so excited! Then, however, I saw that it was only 159 pages and that made me sad. In my mind, there was no way to wrap the story up in so few pages with so much going on, but boy was I wrong! Catherine Banks did an amazing job summing up the story and tying off the majority of loose ends. I do, however, think we were left hanging a bit based on the changes made before the book ended. I would like to see what was changed, but am happy with the ending.

When we start this book, we find Ares still on his journey to Deaths realm to find Artemis and return her soul to her body. What happens if the savior of the world isn't returned? Of course, Ares does not fail. Artemis and her unborn child are returned to the Earth, but still nothing goes right. Why does Artemis continually feel bad? How has Maurice gained all his powers? How will she deal with the death of Achilles?

Reading this, all questions are answered. I loved this series and could read it over and over again.

This book is kind of abrupt. I was expecting something different and a lot more. I loved sotare. It was like the author decided that enough of this series. But I have no qualms with the way she carried out the plot. I just wish there was some more to it and met sotare in the other version. An epilogue would have done the job nicely. The series was cool. I would recommend it to drama loving ya readers.

While I found this original and enjoyable, I did not care for how it ended.

I read these books within the same day i loved the first three books completely.
I liked most parts of this book but when i came at the part where everyone fell dead and Artemis decides that her son should travelback in time. I was like WTF just happened and i already didnt want to finish it anymore. But i hoped that catherine banks would somehow keep it believable.
I was wrong.

Sotare can detect evil and throw it into the abyss. (No refferences made to the abyss or Chronos before Sotare)
There wasnt even a reference made to time travel in general.
No explanation for the power Maurice had that allowed him to kill nearly everyone in the end.
And then the final chapter i was like sure throw three books worth of character development out of the window. I liked the way Artemis had developed i really did but that ending ruined this book for me completely the only reason i am giving it two stars is because the i liked the development of Artemis after she lost Achilles.

To those that read this review i advise you dont finish this book stop after chapter 23 just stop reading and dont think anymore just belief Catherine Banks made a good ending (NOT).

To those that do not like my review read it closely instead of the only the parts where i am angry.
She threw three and a half books worth character development away. The funny thing is if i wasnt forced to give a minimum of 1 star i would have probably given it tops a half star

Taming Darkness is the final installment of the Artemis Lupine series. This makes me sad because I really enjoyed this series. However this last book ties up the loose ends and has ending that you won't see coming.

Ares travels to death's realm and makes a deal to get Artemis and their unborn baby brought back to the living. But unfortunately things don't go as planned. Artemis is still dealing with the loss of Achilles and the unknowns of having a baby. Then to add to all that is already going wrong they find out what the cost will be for Ares getting back Artemis and their child. They have to deal with yet another person who is in love with Artemis, a challenge for a new alpha and the death of others. They also need to figure out how Maurice is gaining all his power and how to destroy him for good.

I loved all the twists and turns this book offers. The last part of the book really throws a curve ball. It changes the course of the series and leaves you left wondering how things would have turned out. I enjoyed what happens and how the author ends things but I do wish there would be a book in the future that picks up with the new ending. Overall a great series and an author whose books I will be on the lookout for. This e-book was provided to me by the author for review. This did not affect my review in any way.

Stunning conclusion

Romance thriller in paranormal world. Sad but happy ending to the quartet of books about the half wolf, half Fae who brings peace to the world.

Oh my word!!! This was so completely different from what you imagine could possibly happen!! It's the conclusion but now the possibilities truly are endless!! I so want to go back and re-read the whole series again ♡ Hoping that one day Ms. Banks will be inspired to continue on, maybe even pick up another character's point of view... There has to be more fluttering around in her heart ♡♡♡ If you've been waiting to begin this series, stop procrastinating this instant!! There are just too many spoilers to talk about.... just seriously read this series!!!
