I picked this book up because I was planning a workshop on the architectural styles found in my town. I have very little knowledge of architecture but a lot of interest in the topic. I found this book to be accessible to beginners and it really fostered an appreciation of the kinds of styles we (Canadians) see all the time but perhaps overlook. I really enjoyed it.
