Tried and true is right it starts off with mindsets working through it and also covers I feel a little bit of the psychological pressures we give ourselves as well as whatever psychological baggage other people in our household maybe carrying also and the fight it can be to get rid of things and to declutter and to organize things sometimes it could be not just an internal fight with ourselves but also with those that we live with our family members our spouse. I like that it covered just how to get started and how to get going, creating movements progression forward to what you're truly looking for. I recommend this book as a good starting point, but as with all things, follow through, follow through, follow through. 😀
I love this book! Not only are there tons of approaches offered in here for making decluttering easier and less overwhelming, there are also recommendations for getting the whole family involved. The author gives just a tidbit of science to help the reader understand the WHY behind getting our spaces clear and tidy....and having that information motivates me to take seriously my seemingly random urges to clean and rearrange. I think those impulses are about health: mental and physical. This is great stuff: a start to an entire mental health makeover via getting our spaces in order. Highly recommend!
While I am sure the content is valuable (from the sections I read), it was difficult to stay engaged due to the quantity of typos and combined words in the book (possibly due to it being a Kindle download, though I don’t remember seeing these problems in other books I read.)
