Motivation is something that all of us should have to move our life forward in the best possible manner. The best way for us to have motivation is to self-discover it and keep ourselves motivated. But it won’t be possible for everyone to implement such a method, especially if they are having a tough time. Books like this will be helpful for them to find an external source of motivation.

Brian Tracy is one of the best motivational trainers, and this small book will help you to get the basics regarding motivation correct by the 21 methods mentioned in it.

It's a great book if you don't know how to motivate your team. It is more dedicated to leaders or management positions. I love the practice exercise at the end of every chapter. Some chapters are similar to other of his success libraries such as "Management" and "Negotiation" but stay as a high level as possible when they touch these topics.

Quick easy read on some basics of motivation for managers. Nothing special here. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't spectacular either. Didn't walk away feeling inspired or having new insights. I was reminded of a lot of good stuff I had already encountered.

I've been trying to find ways to motivate my team. I was always afraid of being too strict or too nice...
This book made things clearer with logical and practical solutions that could be immediately implemented.
The book is short, tackles the main ideas, is well structured with minimal repetition.

To jedna z najbardziej skutecznych technik motywacyjnych.

Highlighting that the hindrance to motivation comes from the fear of judgement and failure is a very important topic of this book. Discussing several management techniques such as just guiding the people with question rather than actually giving them solutions or giving them full autonomy so they can say they did it themselves is also a great aspect to talk about. One area where it is lacking though is the part where it discusses friendship factor. It says that you should thank everyone for every little thing that they do, give them full attention by listening intently and ask about their family or personal life. These are all good in practice but an argument as to what happens when it's too much was never presented as if it saying that there is no such thing as 'too much' in this area (which I strongly disagree) as managers who have thanked me a lot just appear useless to me sometimes.

I am extremely unsure about this book. It had very good points and tactics. However I feel like it is a very generalized advice/not applicable to all work situations and definitely not in my case. Which is understandable.

Overall it has good theories and advice around it, however it is aimed at a very selected target group and unfortunately it wasn't suitable for the arrangement in my workplace.

1. Sonríe (cada mañana cuando los veas)
2. Haz preguntas (cómo vas todo)
3. Escúchalos (atentamente sin interrupciones)

As usual to Brian Tracy, this audiobook also consists of 21 chapters. All these insights are priceless for those who wish to self-motivate and improve their organizational performance.

The key factor of the performance is always a good nexus between the manager and the managee. If this nexus fails, the result is poor performance, higher attrition, losses, etc.

Treat every employee with esteem and get good results. To achieve this goal, the organizations must have leaders than managers.

I really enjoyed this book’s simple, accessible language and its short, well-structured chapters.

Even though the author often plays with ideas that may seem obvious at first glance, the way they are presented truly makes you pause and reflect on your own current challenges. After all, there’s a reason you picked up this book in the first place. 😊
