The law is her life, and he lives to break it—but when innocent lives hang in the balance, their worlds collide in the most dangerous way possible.
Ainsley
Taking over as sheriff in Sentinel, Wyoming was supposed to be my fresh start—a chance to make something of myself. But the moment I meet Warrant, the infuriating, devastatingly charming Sergeant at Arms of the Berserker's Rage MC, my carefully laid plans go up in smoke. He's everything I should stay away from: dangerous, unpredictable, and completely convinced I belong to him. As the town’s sheriff, getting involved with a man who operates outside the law could destroy my career and everything I've worked for. But when kidnapped children land on our doorstep and danger comes at us from all sides, I realize some battles can't be fought from behind a badge—and some protectors don't wear uniforms.
Warrant
The second I lay eyes on the new sheriff, I know she's mine. Ainsley can fight it all she wants, with her moral code and professional ethics, but fate doesn't care about badges or reputations. I've got a ranch to run, a club to serve, and enough mischief in me to keep my brothers and the entire town on their toes, but none of that matters when kids go missing and my woman's life is threatened. When the Viking's Rampage MC calls in a favor to help find stolen children, what starts as a rescue mission becomes a war. The bastards who took those kids made one fatal mistake—they brought their violence into my territory and put Ainsley in their crosshairs. Now they'll learn why they call us Berserker's Rage, and why a happy-go-lucky biker can be the most dangerous enemy of all.
With bullets flying and enemies closing in, we'll have to decide if love is worth breaking all the rules for. For me, family comes first—and I'm going to make Ainsley mine, badge and all.

Cathleen Cole currently lives in Utah with her husband Frank, their six dogs, four goats, and flock of chickens. Cathleen and Frank have nomadic souls, so they don’t expect to be tied down to one place indefinitely.
Animals, dog sports, traveling, scuba diving, and everything books are just a few of Cathleen’s passions in life. She measures her quality of life based off the different experiences and adventures she gets to have.
You’ll see every book written by either Cathleen Cole or Frank Jensen will always credit the other as co-authors and that is because they use each other as sounding boards during their writing processes as well as they are each other’s main beta readers. As husband and wife, they insist on sharing all successes and failures equally.
Warrant is the kind of MC romance that lures you in with jokes, dimples, and a flannel‑wrapped sense of humor… and then casually reminds you he can snap a man in half if the situation calls for it. He’s not scary — he’s capable. He’s not unhinged — he’s selectively lethal. He’s the human equivalent of a warm hug that can also bench‑press a truck.
Ainsley shows up in Sentinel ready to be the law. Warrant shows up ready to be a problem. Their first meeting is basically fate throwing confetti and yelling, “Good luck, idiots.” She’s trying to be professional. He’s trying to flirt. She’s trying to enforce the rules. He’s trying to break them with charm.
And the humor? Oh, it’s everywhere. Warrant is funny without trying — that effortless, teasing, “I know I’m getting under your skin and I’m enjoying it” kind of funny. He’s the guy who cracks a joke while fixing your fence, then turns around and gets deadly serious the second someone threatens you. It’s whiplash in the best way.
When the kidnapped‑kids plot hits, the tone doesn’t turn grim — it turns focused. Warrant drops the jokes, squares his shoulders, and becomes the man you absolutely want on your side. He’s still warm, still charming, still the guy who will make you laugh in the middle of chaos… but now he’s also the guy who will track down the danger and end it with precision.
He’s not terrifying. He’s reassuringly dangerous. The kind of man who makes you feel safe because you know he can handle whatever comes.
Ainsley tries to resist him, but honestly? How do you fight a man who can make you laugh, make you blush, and make your enemies disappear all before breakfast.
This book is funny, fast, steamy, and full of that perfect MC‑romance balance: sunshine chaos + lethal competence + a heroine who gives as good as she gets.
A full 5‑star ride that leaves you swooning, laughing, and absolutely ready for book two.
This was such a fantastic story! Fast-paced, lots of action, and well-written. It was the both the characters and the push/pull from the opposites attract that kept me glued to my Kindle. The characters were great. The heroine is the new sheriff in town And the hero is a member of a 1% MC. I don't know why that's such a favorite of mine, but it is. Also we have a black cat heroin paired with a total golden retriever Hero and it really just made the story. He was such Hero and it really just made the story. He was such a light-hearted character and just made the heroine smile a lot, whether she wanted to or not, lol. A real jokester that drove nearly everyone crazy with his shenanigans. It seems like this newest chapter Is off to a great start. I can't wait to get my hands on Pyre's story next!
We finally get to see the Berserker’s in their own space.
I really enjoyed this book. Warrant has always been known as a prankster. He’s laid back, goes with the flow and doesn’t really give a shit. However, we also get to see a more serious side to him.
I never would have pictured Warrant as an MP, while in the military. From some of his observational skills, I feel like he wasn’t a normal MP hanging out at the gate , checking IDs. Warrant is more than just a pretty face with a great smile. It was so good to see him as multi-dimensional.
Ainsley has always wanted to be a cop. Her uncle is a cop, and she wanted to be like him. She very much believes in the law and has a strict moral code. With Warrant, she has to make some tough choices about what she really wants in life and what’s she’s willing to give up.
Ainsley spent most of the book conflicted between her job as sheriff and her feelings for Warrant. She couldn’t do her job effectively, in her mind, while also being with Warrant. He’s not always on the side of the law or willing and able to do things as the law dictates. For someone who has lived and breathed the law her entire life, it makes for some hard choices.
I think the conclusion she came up with was the right one. She’s now able to help more in her new position than if she had stayed where she was. I hope to see her skill set utilized better, so she can grow into the woman she was always meant to be.
I will say that I loved seeing some of the members from Tucson and Austin. I wish we could get a short Christmas novella showcasing how their lives are going. How many kids they’ve had, especially Austin, and how everyone is doing. I’d love to see a Next Gen on all these guys eventually.
Overall, this was a great introduction to everyone in the club and those around them. I can’t wait to see who gets with who and how the series develops.
I have been waiting for Warrant's story, and It did not disappoint.
Warrant is a charmer, a prankster, and he loves to have a good time. But don't mistake his laid back attitude for being weak. He is just as deadly has his fellow MC brothers.
Ainsley is the new sheriff in town, and catches the eye of Warrant. He is instantly smitten and wants to make her his in every way.
I enjoyed seeing some of the guys from the The Vikings' Rampage MC Austin, and Tucson Chapters!
When Rigg's kids are kidnapped (The Austin Chapter), they reach out to the Tucson Chapter. Once they realize that the kids are headed towards Wyoming, they reach out to The Berserker's Rage MC for help. One thing you don't do is mess with kids. They will do whatever it takes to find the kids and return them safely to their family. Ainsley has to decide if she's going to follow the law, or follow the lead of Warrant and his MC brothers.
I enjoyed every bit of this story and I could not put this book down. Cathleen and Frank did it again with another 5 star read. I can't wait to see where this series goes!
As always Cathleen has outdone herself. I can never imagine how the stories are going to continue to get better and more real than they already are but Cathleen winds up with a sucker punch of a masterpiece. I’ve been so excited for this book. It had everything I’ve come to love and expect from this author angst, spice, plot🤌🏻, but most importantly a sweet love story. I was really curious how the police portion was going to work out thinking it would be similar to Cade’s book, cause Sheriff vs FBI what’s the difference 😂 but it had its own unique spin!
Is it bad that I hope Eris and Beau get to meet and be puppy buddies😂

This is the first book in a new series, and this is Warrant and Ainsley's story. Ainsley is the new sherriff in town, and Warrant to a member of an MC. From the second these two meet the sparks fly. This is a well written story which is action packed, with family, friendships, emotions, loyalty, secrets, challenges, trust, humour, witty banter, tension, danger, suspense, intrigue, making choices, heartbreak, revelations, undeniable chemistry, and unconditional love, which all leads to an entertaining, and unpredictable addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from these talented whose whose work I highly recommend.
This was a great start to the new series! I really enjoyed the dynamic between all the brothers and we get to see some of the others in this story. I really enjoyed Ainsleys character. The mental battle she goes through knowing what she wants but try it to figure out how she can have it! Ainsley and Warrant are great for each other. She’s all business and straightforward and Warrant is just a goof ball that protects his family at all costs. We get the seriousness of the MC world with some laughs and love also! Can’t wait to see what’s next for the series!
This is the first book, in this series. It was Great!! I Can't Wait, for the next book. Also, found a new author. This book was Great. Was hook, on page one. It was entertaining, unpredictable, wonderful characters, can't wait to know more about these characters, she the new Sheriff, he the MC Sergeant At Arm, locks, cameras, kidnapped MC kids, he falls first, meet parents, other MC helping, action, saving these kids, invasion, its not over into they get them all, spicy, new jobs, and so much more
I’m so excited we got to finally learn more about the Bezerkers! Warrant is such an absolute goofball and loving, but lord is that man one fucking badass. It was great to learn about all the other members, Cypher is definitely a favorite already. Ainsley was a badass in her own right, and watching her war with herself and her career was executed wonderfully. Amazing chemistry between those two but I would be lying if I said I wasn’t ready to learn more about Pyre and hopefully who I think it is!!
After meeting Warrant in previous MC books by Cathleen and Frank I was really excited to finally read his story. This is a great intro to the Berserker's Rage MC with lots of new and interesting characters that I can't wait to read more about. Was also great to catch up with favourite characters from the Viking's Rampage MC Austin and Tucson chapters. Thanks for another great read Cathleen and Frank, your books are always worth the wait🙂
WOW!!! That's all I can say. Kids being kidnapped. The town of Sentinel is run by women, the mayor, commissioners, coroner, funeral director, and a reporter. He falls first and its love at first sight. Who would believe this about Warrant. Crazy, flirty, sexy Warrant. But it's true. The twists and turns were not what I expected but kept me glued. I love suspense, and this one was top-notch. I can't wait on Pyre's story.
What a great read, I absolutely loved Warrant and Ainsley’s story ❤️❤️❤️ with the antics Warrant got up to to make Ainsley his I had to laugh, he can be exasperating but his heart is in the right place. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤
I started to fall for Warrant in the other books he was in. I could tell he was a big grizzly bear with a teddy bear inside. Ainsley is perfect for him. I have a girl crush on her. The story had just the right amount of drama with laughter and tears thrown in. The romance was perfect. I can’t wait for the next one.
I’ve read all the MC romances that you have wrote. And I’m in love with all of them! This one was amazing just as the others. Ainsley and Warrant were so different but so cute together! I love how some books have similar people falling in love but also complete opposites too. I can’t wait for the rest of them!!
I love Ainsley and Warrant. She is so strong headed and knows how to do the right thing even if it's hard. She helps out the MC when they need it but quickly falls in love with a biker in Warrant. She makes the hard decision but she chooses love and that's the whole point after all.
I know that the model on the book is just a representation of the MMC and after reading this book and seeing the smirk on his face, this model is spot on. Warrant is such a jokester and a good bad boy. You can't help but love him and I can see why Ainsley didn't stand a chance. This is going to be an awesome series!!!!
Great story for Berserker’s Rage MC Wyoming chapter!! Warrant is deadly and mischievous and sexy as hell. Sheriff Ainsley is a badass but also sweet with kids and her new puppy. Beautiful story with lots of action and sexy times.
Warrant doesn't do anything easy. He loves to stir things up when he gets bored so why would finding the love of his life be any different. Of course he would pick the one person who should be off limits, the new sheriff, Ainsley.
Warrant is my kind of guy! I thought Hush would be my forever husband and others a nice read. But I think I’m going to have to claim Warrant as mine too. Lol!!!
I love how he claimed his “Sheriff” from the jump and no matter how much she fought it, she was his.
It amazes me how you can write about dismembering a body, and make it hilarious! The flow of this book kept me enthralled. I couldn't put it down. Appreciated the woman empowerment aspect as well. Looking forward to Pyre's story.
An amazing start to this new series from the truly talented writing duo Cathleen & Frank. Warrant & Ainsley are fire 🔥 I love their banter & I love that she is fiesty, which is just what that cocky Warrant needs, get 'em girl 🤣 Meeting more of the new crew & seeing some the guys from the other books interacting with them is always a blast. I don't want to give spoilers but I especially loved the way this new girl crew was set up 🤗 Another absolute must read. I'm soooo looking forward to Pyre 😏
So I have a feeling I’m going to end up loving these men slightly more than the Tucson Viking men and….I don’t think I’m okay with that. I love Toxic and Butcher hard but….Warrant snuck up on me
What a wonderful way to start a new series!!! This series is going to be a bit different, the men are bit more edgy and I am so excited to watch them fall.
I really enjoyed this book. Been waiting for a book about Warrant. Loved him in the other ones.. It's a great start to the series, and I can't wait for more
I love these characters. Love all Mac's coming together for family. They take care of their town family and found family members. Couldn't put it down.
Story: ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Spice: 🌶️ 🌶️ Tropes: MC Romance Sheriff FMC Sergeant at Arms MMC
I’ve been dying to get Warrant’s story ever since Isla knocked him flat in Butcher’s book 😂. He may be the resident prankster who’s always chasing a good time, but Ainsley was exactly what he needed; she balanced him out perfectly. The storyline kept me hooked, and I loved all the cameos from MC brothers across different chapters, it made the world feel even bigger and more connected. In the end, Warrant finally got his girl and now I’m already looking forward to Pyre’s book next.
Disappointed. This one wasn't it for me. Warrant didnt respect Ainsley at all. And Ainsley being a sheriff needed more of a back bone.
Yes she asked for space and walked away a few times but she wasn't angry enough for me to find out he had cameras in her house or tracking her phone.. major red flags. She just brushed them off.
He didnt respect her job as sheriff because he just dumps kids on her to babysit without telling her anything.
Everytime she asks questions he will kiss her and walk off.. that pissed me right off.
The chemistry wasn't there. The authors kept trying to force it but missed the mark. There was no growth or trust built.
Ewww this was a complete ick :
"I wondered how long it was going to take for her to realise i hadn't used a condom. It hadn't been my plan not to i had enough in my nightstand. It took all my self control to stay sitting while she finished getting dressed."
And yet you didnt tell her... and guess what ... that is a crime since you knew you didnt and didn't tell her 😡
She resigns for a man 😒 how pathetic..
This book just kept getting worse who the hell wrote this .. so beyond disappointing
Lets promote strong women running the town with high level jobs, even showing us multiple scenes of them all getting together to promote this but lets have the sheriff of a month, who is doing a brilliant job because she is passionate about it, give it all up because she met a stupid man... come on.. what the f**k happened with this story.
Ainsley is a by the book dedicated sheriff.. takes her a month because of a hot guy to resign and flipped to working with the MC and be 💯 fine going against the law "I somehow knew this was where I belonged" since when FFS ... 🙄🙄
Sorry this wasn't it. Could have been good but felt so rushed. Should have really tried to think through how a biker/sheriff relationship would start and work rather than just expecting her because she is a female to just be ok with everything and give it all up because of his smile and good looks.. please its 2026 put some substance into it.
Disappointing. hopefully this series will get back on track like the previous ones or it might be a incomplete one for me.
