A bookstore. A bet. And betrayal that could destroy them both.

I need sixty days.

When a powerful man offers me a devil's bargain, every instinct screams to walk, no run, away. But desperation makes cowards of us all. Make Sebastian fall for me, steal his business secrets at their derby party, and keep my store. Refuse, and lose everything.

The plan was simple. But I never bet on falling for him. Or how the truth would ruin me.

This isn't about love.
It's a bet, a way to finally cut my brother loose. Rosalia is the bait. Sweet. Sharp. Sent to play me. And I let her. Because I want to believe she's different. I'm betting on it. And when she moans my name like it's real, I almost believe her.

In bourbon country, family betrayals go down smoother than aged whiskey. With the
Derby clock ticking and their hearts tangled in lies and desire, when the truth finally spills, can love survive the burn?

DK Marie’s a voracious reader. Her number one love is romance and devours any and all of its genres, but also enjoys thrillers, horror, and non-fiction. Basically, if there are words on a page and a spectacular story, she’s diving in, heart and soul.

However, there’s one thing she loves even more, and that’s writing her own steamy contemporary romances. They’re a mixture of heart, heat, and humor. Brimming with confident heroines and kind heroes, all living, loving, and lusting in and around her hometown of Detroit, Michigan.

When not falling in love with her characters, DK Marie is laughing, relaxing, and planning her next adventure with her family. Okay, and also drinking boatloads of coffee, chatting on social media, and dreaming about her next travel destination.

This is as such a great story and my first read for DK Marie
You have two billionaire brothers who run the Bourbon distillery and one adorable bookstore owner.
Rosalia moved to Kentucky and opened a bookstore on the famous Bourbon row , she met Sebastian As a customer and they are great friends .
Thorne wants his brother position in the company and schemes up a bet that will put Rosalia out business since they own the building she rents , this way his brother Sebastian will have to choose her or the company ……

Ahh, I loved this book!! The Bourbon Bet by D.K. Marie had me hooked from the very first page. Billionaire meets sweet bookstore owner—honestly, what more could you ask for?

Rosalia and Sebastian’s connection was immediate, but what really drew me in was the tension and complications beneath the surface. With the bet hanging over them thanks to Sebastian’s brother, Thorne, their budding romance had so many layers of doubt, fear, and vulnerability. I loved how Rosalia worried about hurting him, and how Sebastian struggled with whether he could truly trust her feelings—or if his money was the only draw.

The slow burn was so well done! The push and pull kept me turning pages late into the night. On top of the chemistry, there was such an emotional depth to both characters. Watching them open up, wrestle with their insecurities, and fight for something real made their romance feel all the more satisfying.

If you love swoony billionaires, strong and relatable heroines, and a romance that balances heat with heartfelt emotion, this one is a must-read!

Thank you D.K. Marie for the ARC!

I was completely swept up in The Bourbon Bet!

The story had me hooked from the start, especially with Rosalia owning a bookstore - I'm a sucker for book-loving characters! The romance between Rosalia and Sebastian is a sweet, delicious slow burn, and the tension between them is palpable. I loved how the author wove together the bet between the brothers, Sebastian and Thorn and their relationship.

What I enjoyed most was the emotional depth of the story. I could really feel the characters' struggles and ached for them as the story grew. The themes of family, loyalty, and love are well written and I ate up all the banter and spice.

Overall, The Bourbon Bet is a delightful read that will appeal to fans of billionaire romance, class difference, small-town settings, and stories about family and love.
I'm so glad I read it!

I was completely blown away by The Bourbon Bet by DK Marie! From the very first chapter, I knew this book was going to check all my romance boxes and wow, did it ever deliver. This is my first time reading a D.K. Marie book but it will not be my last!

Let’s start with Rosalia. A bookstore owner FMC is one I am such a sucker for. I love characetrs who love books just as much as we do, and Rosalia instantly had my heart. She’s determined, hardworking, and just trying to hold onto her dream despite being thrown into a nearly impossible situation. I loved her resilience, and I rooted for her every step of the way. Then there’s Sebastian. He is broody, guarded, and a bourbon billionaire who you know has a soft center hiding under all that rough exterior. Watching him slowly open up to Rosalia was so satisfying, and their chemistry was really electrifying. The tension between them is drawn out in the best slow burn way, and when things finally spark... ohhh, it was worth every second of waiting.

One of the things I loved most about this book was how much emotional depth DK Marie wove into the story. On the surface, yes, it’s a romance with a fun bet at the heart of it, but underneath it’s really about family, loyalty, betrayal, and learning who you can trust. The dynamic between Sebastian and his brother, Thorne, was fascinating to read, and I loved how their relationship became just as important to the story as the romance. Honestly, I am so ready for Thorne’s redemption arc because while he may be the black sheep of the family, you just know his story is going to be incredible.

The small town Kentucky setting was another highlight for me. The bourbon distillery backdrop added such a rich, Southern vibe to the story and it felt warm, sultry, and atmospheric, the perfect stage for a romance filled with both sweetness and burn. Pair that with Rosalia’s charming bookstore, and you get the ultimate cozy yet dramatic contrast. Honestly, I felt like I was living in Louisville right alongside the characters.

And I have to shout out the banter because it was top tier. The playful back and forth between Rosalia and Sebastian had me grinning, but there was also a tenderness in their dialogue that made me giggle and smile. Add in a sprinkle of spice (enough to heat things up without overshadowing the story), and it was exactly the right balance.

The Bourbon Bet is one of those books that sneaks up on you; it lures you in with the promise of a fun bet and a grumpy billionaire, but by the end you’re feeling for for these characters so deeply. I devoured every word, and when I finished, I just sat there smiling, because it was the exact kind of romance I love to read.

Read if you’re a fan of:
🥃 Billionaire romance with heart
📚 Bookstore FMC you’ll want to be best friends with
💔 Emotional family drama (and sibling rivalry)
🌶️ A slow burn romance with just the right amount of spice

Thank you to D.K. Marie and The Author Agency for the eARC of this book.

The Bourbon Bet is a steamy, slow burn, billionaire romance and is the story of Sebastian and Rosalia.

This was such a great story and I struggled to put it down when I needed to. Rosalia is a book store owner on Whiskey Row in Louisville and loves to bring the joy of reading to her community. Connecting with her customers is a gift she cherishes, but when Sebastion Blackstone, the owner the local bourbon distillery asks her out for coffee, she can't help but ask herself why.

As the second anniversary of her book store nears, Rosalia learns her lease is not being renewed by the owner of her building. Coincidentally, Sebastion's company owns the building her bookstore is in and she wonders if he has an ulterior motive for asking her out. Sebastian has been attracted to Rosalia and wants to get to know her better. When his brother informs him that Rosalia's lease will not be renewed, Sebastian fights for her but that just antagonizes his brother to push harder and proposes a bet Sebastian cannot resist. Not to be beaten, Sebastian's brother corners Rosalia and forces her into a bargain to save her store, she must steal from Sebastian.

Will Sebastian and Rosalia be able to make a real connection or will the bet between brothers and the deal between Rosalia and Sebastian's brother poison any future they could have together? This was such a twist on the typical romance storyline between characters of different backgrounds. The way the author was able to weave the story of Sebastian and his brother's tumultuous relationship and how he pitted Sebastian and Rosalia against each other without their knowledge was well done and a great twist. I enjoyed the banter and relationship building between Sebastian and Rosalia and the heart felt moments when the bet was discovered and how they were able to be honest and come to a place of understanding and move forward. The spice and tender moments were perfect and Rosalia's found family was wonderful and it was great to see how they stood behind her when things got tough. I recommend this book to all lovers of romance, especially those who love a little drama and angst with some personal growth for all of the characters.

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Bourbon and Books, I am already in my happy place, but this story hooked me in and did not let go.
Rosalia owns a bookstore on Bourbon Row in Kentucky. The bookstore is her dream, she is working hard to be successful. She is doing well and has made friends with her customers, one is Sebastian.

Thorne is the villain in this story, he wants what his brother has, feels it should be his by birthright. He is a manipulator and a schemer. He thinks he has figured out a way to beat his brother, with a weakness. His brother is Sebastian, and the company owns Rosalia’s building. Thorne is setting Sebastian up to choose.

Now I have given all the information I plan to, as you need to read this book. It is a slow burn, the backdrop is a small bourbon town, two brothers with a complicated history, and that slow southern charm. I will admit I favored Rosalia, and was cheering her on.

I am looking forward to more from this author.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

Rosalia is sweet and strong and is on the brink of losing her bookstore and her father’s house, while Sebastian is a broody and powerful billionaire, who offers her a deal.
This is a well written slow burn, easy to read story, with family, friendships, emotions, drama, betrayal, conflict, redemption, secret agenda, humour, witty banter, romance, and undeniable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Bookstore owner and billionaire bourbon master distiller? Of course I was hooked!
Rosalia is so sweet and truly loves her bookstore and the community she’s built. Sebastian, the handsome billionaire, is genuinely interested in Rosalia, but his brother throws a wrench into their not even official relationship. Both Sebastian and Rosalia are torn between their bourbon bet and doing what’s right. This is a story about love, trust, broken family, and perseverance. I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read more from D.K. Marie in the future!

Great book! It is HEAvy on the miscommunication trope but I did love the story and spice and relationship that develops between the main characters. Absolutely loved that the FMC owned a book shop too! The spicy scenes were written sooo well too!

This was my first DK Marie book and it didn’t disappoint. The story was rich with tension, familial and love betrayal and brother vs. brother.

The story is set in Kentucky on Bourbon Row in Louisville. This is where Rosalia (FMC) owns a bookstore, but rents the building from two billionaires, who have a rocky and toxic relationship.

Tropes:
-Billionaire Southern Romance
-Small town
-Top tier banter between main MC’s
-Slow burn
-Familial betrayal
-Bet and Double Bets
-Dual POV
-Strong friend group

Do you choose love or your livelihood? That is a question for both Sebastian and Rosalia!

Run and add this to your TBR. This was a five star read.

Thanks to The Author Agency and DK Marie for the ARC opportunity.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

Sebastian and Rosalia’s story was lovely. One of those “feel good” reads which was easy to follow and a pleasure to read.

It had me grinning like a Cheshire Cat but also shouting “just tell her” & “just tell him”

This book is definitely one to warm you on a rainy autumn day!

I know the rules authors shouldn't star their own books. But I feel like that saying, if you don't love yourself, how do you expect others to? I think it is the same for books. If I didn't love and adore the stories I've written, why would I expect readers?

Rosalia's been trying to save her bookstore and her dad's house but isn't having any luck, when luck finally falls at her feet. All she has to do is betray her friend and the man she's falling for, Sebastian, a billionaire from a premier bourbon empire. The longer she spends with him, the more she's coming to the realization that she can't go through with the deal she made with Sebastian's brother, even if she loses her bookstore and her dad's house. But is everything as it seems? Does Sebastian have his own agenda that she's not privy to?

Sebastian's been attracted to Rosalia since he first saw her, and now he has the perfect situation to pursue her. He knows he should tell her what's really going on, but even he's not entirely sure what that is. He adores her, is falling for her, and perhaps in the end, he can keep her. If they can both get past the secrets they're both keeping.

I knew from the first page of Sebastian and Rosalia's story that I was going to love them, and I do! Their banter is witty and fun, their physical chemistry is sizzling and only gets stronger and more intense, but it's their emotional connection that kept me reading. The secrets were there in the background, keeping the tension and the angst high, and I was cringing knowing the fallout was going to hurt. It did, but by the end, it was well worth the pain each went through, to see them happy, finally realizing their love, with no more secrets left to get in between them. Sweet, strong bookstore owner Rosalia and broody billionaire with a tender heart Sebastian have my heart, and I can only wish the author plans on writing more about them.

Thank you to the Author Agency for the ARC

If you love MMC who are billionaires and big fools, you will love “The Bourbon Bet” because while the book is a dual POV from Rosalia and Sebastian, personally I want a book with Thorne! Look, Sebastian is cute, he’s made some mistakes, but in the end he is adorable, now let’s focus on his brother, Thorne, who is mainly the villain of the story, because I want his redemption arc!

Rosalia owns a bookstore in a small town where Sebastian and Thorne are almost royalty. They own not only the distillery but also other businesses. When Thorn announces to Sebastian that he will end Rosalia’s bookshop contract, he senses Sebastian has feelings for Rosalia. So they make a bet. If Rosalia truly loves Sebastian, Thorne will leave, but if Rosalia wants nothing but Sebastian’s money and ends up betraying him, Sebastian will step down and allow his brother to lead the distillery.

Of course, the bargain Thorne makes, it’s much worst for Rosalia. He lies, he cheats, and he manipulates her into believing Sebastian is terrible at his job. Rosalia at first believes him, but with time and after many dates where they both fall in love, Sebastian is heartbroken that she will lose everything she holds dear, while Rosalia doesn’t want to leave Sebastian.

I have to say Rosalia’s friends from the community really sucked sometimes. They must have known Thorne was an awful guy, especially with what he did to Sebastian, and they still advised her a lot of times to take his money to save the store. I understand her bookstore was important to the community, but making a deal with Thorne was never a good idea.

I loved that Thorne played his own game between Rosalia and Sebastian, and even though he really could not care less about his feelings for them, the bet was one thing that made Sebastian change the most and also himself. They both had to hit rock bottom to make changes and start healing. They both had a lot of emotional baggage from their childhood and how competitive they were against each other. So if it weren’t for this bet, they would never have realised how toxic their relationship got.

I really hope we get a book on Thorne because that would be lovely, I love redemption stories, and since Thorne was so evil here, I believe it would be amazing to see him find love like Rosalia and Sebastian did.

“The Bourbon Bet” is a romance about trust, and trust comes in many ways. Rosalia must trust someone to save her bookstore, and Sebastian must trust his feelings for Rosalia. What took them so long to realise that they loved each other was this lack of trust to confide in each other and embrace their feelings.

The Bourbon Bet was such an emotional and interesting story. It was my first by this author and won't be the last. I enjoyed it from the very beginning.

Rosalia needs money to save her bookstore. She rents the building from a powerful billionaire family. She loves the people who come to the bookstore and loves interacting with them during her readings, especially the children. She is a great example of goodness and sweetness. Rosalia catches the eye of Sebastian, who is part of the family that owns the building. He asks her for coffee and she agrees to go out with him. She wonders why he is interested in her.

Thorne, Sebastian's brother, refuses to renew Rosalia's lease for the bookstore, putting her store in jeopardy. Thorne offers her the deal to steal Sebastian's plans in exchange for her bookstore. Thorne wants to gain control of the bourbon company that he and Sebastian own. He challenges Sebastian to a bet regarding Rosalia. Rosalia is then caught between the two brothers. There is so much going on with the brothers and their agendas. Rosalia and Sebastian have no idea Thorne has made a bet with each of them.

I loved the attraction and chemistry between Rosalia and Sebastian. Their situation puts them into having trust issues with each other. They had to overcome so much in their lives. There is so much going on in their story. Highly recommended.

Reasons you will love this story:
* Billionaire
* Bookstore owner
* Small town
* Bet
* Slow burn

Thank you to the author for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

This story had me hooked from the very first page. Rosalia, is a bookshop owner leasing space in a building owned by one of Kentucky’s most powerful bourbon families. Caught between two brothers—one who wants her heart and one who wants nothing more than to destroy his sibling and take over the company—she’s forced into a world of secrets, deals, and dangerous bets.

The family angst is deep, with old wounds and betrayal pulling the brothers apart. Thorne, the destroyer, and Sebastian, the crafter. That tension bleeds into every choice she has to make. Will she protect her business at the cost of her heart and her business, or risk it all for love? Is Thorne manipulating her for his own gain, or is there truth behind his words. These are just some of the questions that I continually asked myself during my reading of this book. There's this constant undercurrent of distrust that keeps you on edge.

The Kentucky backdrop, the distillery setting and the hype of Derby season—made it all the richer and more atmospheric. It was so well written with all the feelings you would expect when making an impossible choice!

I rooted so hard for this couple, and every twist had me hoping love could win against all odds. And Thorne? I’m crossing my fingers there’s a redemption arc for him in what’s to come!

They hype, the buildup... it was real, and DK Marie delivered. DELIVERED. I was worried it was going to be Napoleon Dynamite letdown levels (wow, I just dated myself). Delivered so much I've already reread this book. Yes, I love it that much.

I won't say much about the plot because the synopsis gives you a good overview of what you can expect. But to sum it up:

1 Bet Between Billionaire Brothers + Indie Bookstore Owner Caught in the Crossfire + Can We Trust Each Other? = One Hell of a Romance that had me reading through my fingers as I held my hand over my eyes.

Rosalia's friendship with Sebastian is threatened by the bet with his brother, Thorne. Of course, there's more than one bet, double-crossing bets, and Sebastian and Rosalia are pitted against one another, their romantic chemistry on the line while both trying to get what they want. At the end of the day, what's more important? Your livelihood or your romantic interest? I don't know if any of us had to answer that question to the scale at stake here.

Betrayal, Bourbon, and Bets. Buckle up, Buttercups!

This is a NEW to me author and I was glad I picked it up because I had a lot of fun reading this and the characters were relatable and I was able to connect between it all.

These two were in a predicament that neither wanted to be in, while the MFC is just trying to save her father's legacy the MMC has a mind set of his own on what the truth is. I have to say that these two chemistry WAS OFF THE CHARTS I think that is what helped me connect to them so much I just loved them together even but especially when they clashed. The setting was so much fun to imagine and read about also. Let me just tell you that when the truth comes out, be prepared to feel all the emotions, like there is probably 7 stages you'll go through.

Will most definitely read more by this author and I would recommend this book is you like:

"This was my first novel by DK Marie but it certainly will not be my last. The story follows Rosalia and Sebastian as they navigate a budding relationship tainted by complex family dynamics and a secret bet.

Rosalia owns a bookstore and leases the space from Sebastian's family, who also run a massive bourbon distillery. When Sebastian's older brother Thorne refuses to renew her lease, Rosalia looks for any way to keep her bookstore dream alive. That's when Thorne decides to step in once again and offers her a deal...if she can steal Sebastian's plans for the distillery, her lease will be renewed indefiniely. Thorne also makes a bet with Sebastian that he cannot make Rosalia fall for him within a period of time. The two begin to see each other not knowing that the other has a bet with Thorne.

To say that I loved this book would be an understatement. DK Marie crafted some truly wonderful characters, included so much tension I found myself almost shouting for the two to kiss already! I can't wait to see what will come from this series and am so excited to see the redemption arc for Thorne!"

The Bourbon Bet by DK Marie

I was given the advance copy of this book for my honest review… so buckle up & here we go!

This was my first DK Marie book and I was HOOKED. Billionaire romance? Quiet bookstore owner? SIGN 👏ME👏UP👏

I loved the way DK wrote the characters to be relatable when it comes to what they want, all my girl, Rosalia, wants is to save her bookshop & I can appreciate that. Sebastian’s quiet & grumpy exterior had me wondering what his deal was from the beginning and that made me want to figure it out more! The budding romance between the two is brought on because Sebastian’s brother, Throne (probably because he’s a thorn in everyone’s side 🤣), is the problem child that loves to watch chaos unfold. Unaware of the bet each of them have with Thorne, their love begins to blossom and grow.

I felt like the story was a solid ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5. However, when it came to spice I’d give it like a 🌶️.5-🌶️🌶️. There were a few scenes here and there but it was more tasteful romance (if that makes sense to anyone else, thanks for understanding what I’m trying to say).

This book releases September 16- if you’re up for:

🥃 Billionaire Romance
🥃 Small Town Vibes
🥃 A little bit of family drama

You know what Sebastian and bourbon have in common?!?
They’re both sweet!

“What matters is how we are together. And when we're together, it's like I can finally breathe."

"You belong with me," he says firmly. "And I belong with you.”

My very first D.K. Marie book and it completely drew me in! I normally don’t like slow burns but this one was delicious and the tension was just perfect. The story felt so real. I really enjoy how the story shows a lot of emotional depth the characters dealt with. I could relate to Rosalia a lot, especially having a mom who over steps at times.

The relationships not only between the MFC and MMC but the relationships they had with their friends was beautiful. I really enjoyed Paige and Daniel. Round of applause for Daniel for keeping it real. I loved that conversation he had with Sebastian!

I’m really hoping Thorne has his own book and we get to read him having his redemption arc!

D.K. Marie thank you so much for the ARC!

Thank you so much DK Marie for this beautiful arc!!! Now if there's one thing that can rope me in it's anything that is southern or has to do with bourbon. Set in Louisville Kentucky (my home city)! Rosalia, our beloved little bookstore owner has 60 days to figure out how to save her bookstore after she finds out her lease is coming to an end. When she's forced into a bet with the Blackstone family, she doesn't realize she's part of bigger pawn between 2 billionaire estranged brothers. Sebastian Blackstone, the billionaire master distiller who's family might as well own Louisville, starts to fall for Rosalia, but will she end up using him and can he trust her? That's all put to the test when bets are made and secrets are kept. I loved this book and I loved the tension between the main characters. I'm ready for Thorne to have his redemption arc!!

Rosalia runs a bookstore, Sebastian runs a Bourbon empire. One makes a deal with the devil, one makes a bet with him. Both stand to lose everything they’ve worked to build but as they get deeper into their betrayals, they also stand to lose each other. When the truth comes to light, who will win and who will lose? And will the cost really be worth the prize?

Ohhhhh I loved this!! Rosalia and Sebastian just make sense together! I can’t tell you how many times I was shouting ‘just tell him/her’ throughout this book! You could almost feel the anguish, guilt and betrayal, it was so tangible all the way through and kept me hooked! I struggled to put it down because I just needed to know how it would all play out! I’m definitely keeping my eyes opening for more in this series because I need it all!! Oh, and it goes without saying that Sebastian is one of the hottest, sweetest billionaires I’ve ever read and I want him for myself!

Deceptions, Bets, Bourbon, Books and Secrets…. What could possibly go wrong???

This Book is like a beautiful Train Wreck in Motion.
The one where the conductor stops at a few stops and warn everyone to get off or get ready to be wrecked.. Naturally you stay one.. Because why not right?

Sebastian and Rose meets before all the ugliness and they hit it off. Like Storybook hitting it off and you can already see they are just meant to be.

But then all the little twists and turns comes to play and easy its not anymore.

A Very Good Read and I loved the characters and the Story. My heart went up and down with theirs!

"at night in the quiet, everything felt empty, soulless,” she whispers. “Like a book with half the pages torn out.”

ps: Wonderful ending so do not despair. You will be rewarded!

And now Im off to try a Moscow Mule ;)

ok ps:ps: lols Can we just take a moment to appreciate the cover.. Love Love Love.

Overall I enjoyed this book. Rosalia and Sebastian were great characters. They take you on a journey full of dual sided deceit, feelings that turn serious fast, family drama, secrets and hard choices. Along with it you get a slow burn, secret agenda and family conflict in a southern billionaire romance.

I do wish that there was a little more interaction between them and the beginning of the book before the main plot point starts. I just wanted more interaction before they were thrust into the villainous plot of Thorne’s. And at the end I really wanted more story from after the air was cleared and all the truth was out. It felt like an abrupt ending that left me wanting more of what happened afterward and how their lives came together as one. The time jump at the end left a lot to be desired for their story’s HEA buildup. These things were not make or break for how much I liked the story, at all. It just left me feeling like the story was missing pieces.

I was immediately hooked by the premise. You've got Rosalia, who's trying to save her family's bookstore, and she's basically desperate enough to make a deal with the devil. The deal? Seduce a billionaire, Sebastian, and steal his business secrets. Sounds like the perfect setup for a juicy romance, right?
But then, as I was reading, I found out it gets way more interesting. Rosalia starts to fall for Sebastian for real, which totally complicates her plan. And get this: Sebastian knows what she's doing all along. The whole thing is a bet for him, too! He's letting her try to trick him because he wants to see if she's different. I mean, how much more dramatic can it get?
It's a really good one for anyone who loves a slow-burn romance with some serious family drama. The setting in "bourbon country" adds a cool, sophisticated vibe to all the lies and betrayal. I was on the edge of my seat wondering if their love could actually survive after all the secrets come out.

A bookstore, a bet, and a whole lot of betrayal, This story had me hooked from page one. Rosalia was such an adorable character, full of heart and determination. I loved how she built a community not just for herself, but for everyone around her, even when she risked everything to keep her passion alive.

And Sebastian? I was smitten right along with Rosalia. It was so endearing how quickly he fell for her, wanting to walk her home, be her protector, and think about her every step of the way. Those little details made their romance feel so genuine and swoon-worthy.

This is the kind of contemporary romance that gives you the sweet, small moments and the dramatic tension of high stakes. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a heartfelt love story with a touch of bourbon country drama.
