Rate this book
Emotional with an erotic edge, the Montgomery Ink series is ready to roll with heart-pounding drama and heated sparks ready to ignite. Between tattoo shops, construction companies, and lost loves, the Montgomery family is going to leave a mark.

Ink Inspired - Montgomery Ink

Shepard Montgomery loves the feel of a needle in his hands, the ink that he lays on another, and the thrill he gets when his art is finished. At least that’s the way it used to be. Once he sees Shea Little walk through his shop door for her first tattoo, he knows there’s something more to her than her prim outfits and wide eyes - he sees inspiration.

Ink Reunited - Montgomery Ink, Audiobook 0.6

When the men from Sassy Bordeau’s past walk into her tattoo shop, she’s compelled to face what she left behind. Rafe Chavez and Ian Steele will have to do more than grovel to earn back the woman they’ve always loved...and each other.

Delicate Ink - Montgomery Ink, Audiobook one

Although wary, bearded and broody tattoo artist Austin Montgomery and Sierra Elder, scarred in more ways than one, embark on a slow, tempestuous relationship. When blasts from both of their pasts intrude on their present, however, it will take more than a promise of what could be to keep them together.

I loved the stories int the box set.I had this with me for a while and only had just read. Now i'm mad at myself that I didn't read it sooner.
I actually got the book because of its cover and I'm not sorry to tell that in this case you can totally judge a book by its cover.
The first book Ink Inspired, was Shep and Shea's story. It was the cutest story. From the beginning both of them were cute and so loving.I loved their chemistry and passion that is sexy and sweet at the same time.Shea has a hard emotional past and Shep help her find her passion again.
The second was Sassy's story ,Ink Reunited.I really just love second chance novels. Her past catches up with her in the form of Rafe and Ian.She didn't want anything to do with them. They have lot of grovelling to catch up on.The drama in this story was so amazing and I soaked it up real good.
the third Delicate Austin ans Sierra's story was my favorite. The romance was good but the humor was even better. Their story gave me much more of an emotional impact.I loved their dram and the relationship among the minor characters.I soo want to read the rest of the series.

Do you like stories where the hero believes he has the right to tuck a lock of the heroine's hair behind her ear on their first meeting? What about when the hero calls the heroine 'baby' from the first date? And what if the heroine's mother is a caricature of an evil villain? And as a bonus the 38 year old hero can say things like "hella good" and "hella tantalising"?

If you were answering "hella yes" to all those points; ooh wee are you in for a treat.

It's a hella no from me. DNF after the first book. To be fair I should have read the blurb properly and then avoided the book all together. I got careless in the face of a freebie!

A boxed set of two prequels and the first book in the Montgomery Ink series, this was a very entertaining mix telling the stories of Sheb and Sassy in New Orleans, and Austin in Denver.
Different characters, different problems to be solved, and told in a way which will captivate the reader straight away and let him/her suffer or rejoice with the protagonists.
Explicit sexual contents with BDSM elements are part of these stories, but don't overtake the plot - it's a nice mix.
I'd love to read more of this series.

The first two novellas in this boxset felt like they went 0-60 in less than a second. They met and then were all in in such a short time and all the obstacles were gone so fast. I realize they were novellas so that is part of why they felt rushed, but there was more time describing sex scenes, both real and fantasy, than moving the story forward. The third book, which was full length, had more story development, but still I felt like the relationship moved too fast and the issues were glossed over. Overall, there were enough issues for me to not continue on with the series.

The 3 books were good - something for everyone. First one is bad first impression, followed by intensity. Second one involves a threesome and the third is a D/s relationship. I liked the characters (strong alpha males and assertive females), the sex scenes were a little over the top, but not offensive, and the stories were fine. Each gets wrapped up a little too conveniently, to be honest (something the h is worried about the whole story gets resolved in one paragraph?), but it didn't bother me enough to be a problem. All in all, enjoyable and fast reads.

I liked the majority of the main characters. I also liked the plots. I think she tried a bit too hard to get every sexual relationship possible into this box set: hot bad boy melts the heart of the ice princess, threesome of a female with 2 males, S/m relationship, a 10-year-old surprise child. Can't imagine what is left for the rest of the series.... besides the budding relationship between 2 who grew up basically as brother and sister.

This box set was a slow read and only managed to get my attention at about 80%. The story only started to gain some depth on the last book. My OCD kept on picking up on errors in the writing which made it an unpleasant read, The actual story was okay, not gripped enough to continue with the series unfortunately.

In this box set, I liked Shep's story and Austin story. I did not like sassy story at all. Even not liking the middle story, I still am giving this four stars because the other two stories exceeded my expectations. I look forward to reading the next stories in the Montgomery Ink series

Never judge a book by it's cover and never let it be said a Montgomery man cannot satisfy his woman!

The first short starts us out with Shea and Shep. A shy woman and a sexy tattoo artist do not seem to be a good fit at first but they show readers just how well they work as a couple pretty quickly, and very inventively if memory serves as read this one back in 2015 some time so it is kind of vague on specific details.

The second short steps away from Montgomery males and instead focuses it's attention on Shep's receptionist Sassy and her two men that she reunites with after 10 long years apart. Ian, Rafe and Sassy are far and away from the conventional idea of romantic partners but they worked once and will do their darndest to stay together this time.

Their triad relationship is not one I would be comfortable with personally but for these three characters it makes perfect sense and is something I am comfortable rooting for it to work out permanently.

Third time around we are back with the eldest male Montgomery sibling as the male lead in his own long awaited for-keeps-romance.

Having read the full length book previously in 2018 it was a treat to re-read Austin and Sierra's story again to refresh my memory just how beautiful love and second chances can be when the couple in question are perfect for each other.

Next up am reading the youngest of the Montgomery clans story. Miranda Montgomery is on deck in it and her secret is out as she and older brother Griffin's best friend Decker Kendrick get their turn to shine.

Carrie Ann Ryan’s Montgomery Ink Box Set is a captivating introduction to her popular series, blending sizzling romance with emotional depth. This set includes three stories—Ink Inspired, Ink Reunited, and Delicate Ink—each focusing on love, passion, and the complexities of the human heart.

In "Ink Inspired", Shep Montgomery’s relentless pursuit of the guarded Shea Little is both heartwarming and steamy. Their chemistry is electric, and Shea’s vulnerability adds an emotional layer that makes their journey relatable and compelling.

"Ink Reunited" introduces Sassy Bordeaux, a woman with a fiery personality and a painful past. When two men from her history reappear, the story delves into themes of second chances and healing. Sassy’s resilience and the unique dynamic between the characters make this novella stand out.

Finally, "Delicate Ink" delivers the quintessential Montgomery romance. Austin Montgomery’s brooding charm is perfectly balanced by his determination to win over Sierra, a strong woman who challenges him at every turn. Their love story is a delightful mix of sparks and heartfelt moments, showcasing Ryan’s skill in creating multi-dimensional characters.

This box set is perfect for fans of passionate, tattooed heroes and heroines with rich backstories. With its blend of romance, drama, and heat, Montgomery Ink Box Set is an irresistible start to a series that promises to keep readers hooked.

Montgomery Ink Box Set (Montgomery Ink #0.5, 0.6, 1) by Carrie Ann Ryan
Ink Inspired – Shea’s family is totally toxic. It’s a good thing once you win the loyalty of the Montgomery clan, they fight for you like you are one of their own. Shep has finally found the woman of his dreams, and he will be the dark knight she needs to escape her past and blossom. So sweet! Happy Reading!
Ink Reunited – Sassy may be a chief matchmaker, but her own broken heart makes it hard to risk love again. When her past comes knocking on the tattoo shop door, it is going to take a lot of courage to face it. Very sweet moments! Happy Reading!
Delicate Ink – Sierra is running from her dead boyfriend’s crazy parents. After a tragic motorcycle wreck kills her boyfriend and leaves her with some torso scars, she moves away to start her boutique. When she walks into Montgomery Ink for a tattoo consult, nothing could have prepared her for Austin. And it’s a good thing that Sierra and Austin hit it off like a house on fire because life is trying to take them to the floor with one curve after another. Keeping up with this enormous cast of characters is a challenge worth tackling! Happy Reading!

Trio of Tatooed Couples

Shep and Shea; Sassy, Rafe, and Ian; and Sierra and Austin all find happy endings in this boxed set… none very compelling, unfortunately.

Austin is a bad dominant, and that was played up, so his failure in that area, never being addressed, is disappointing. He gets rewarded for not very nice behavior.

The trio is a letdown in that only two members ever take any agency in their too-brief story; with the amount of history they had, it could have gone deeper.

Shep and Shea want to be edgy and interesting, but they’re the opening salad on a sprawling storyline of a family that pulls you in through story hat frustrate and tie together titillatingly. Lots of steam, good interconnection of characters from one book to the next, uneven and surface execution.

Ink Inspired: This is a fun, fast paced, sexy novella. Boy did I enjoy Shep and Shea's story line. Shep was what Shea needed by giving her support and he helped her to blossom.
Ink Reunited: Oh wow I love this story. Sassy, Ian and Rafe are a great threesome. Their interactions are full of angst, love and lust, a combination that left me speechless and wanting more.
Delicate Ink: Wow, I loved this book. Austin & Sierra's story line is awesome. This book grabbed me at page one and I did not put it down until I turned the last page. I loved all of the twists and turns and bumps that happened in this book. This is a fun, sexy, emotion filled book. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book and series.

I appreciated the stories in this boxed set because the situations the leading characters found themselves in were problems most people have faced in their families, an unexpected illness, problems with a marriage, issues of trust or worry. These are very human afflictions. It was endearing to watch how each character reacted to the situation and how they realized their shortcomings and summoned the strength to do resolve the issues. This was very inspirational to read. Also, the sizzling hot scenes were stimulating enough to drain the blood in a person's head causing tunnel vision or maybe double vision- maybe both!!! I enjoyed this box set and plan to add more Montgomery Ink to my reading list!!!!!

I have always loved the Montgomery clan. I love how all of the books are interconnected and show how much the family loves, respects, and are loyal to each other. I have not read not one of any book involving the Montgomery clan or any one of Carrie Ann Ryan’s books for that matter. Carrie Ann Montgomery is one of my favorite authors but the Montgomery clan will always be faves of mine. Carrie Ann is a wonderful write that can make you laugh, cry, want to cheer, want to yell at characters (internally as well as occasionally outwardly lol), and have so many other feels. You always know when reading one of Carrie Ann’s books that you are in for a ride and will definitely be feeling everything written in that book.

I do love a good strong relationship with its challenges. With 3 it’s a hell of a lot hotter! With good characters and a wonderful dynamic between these characters it’s a winner. A fantastic performance from Gregory.

This book has a lovely storyline to it. With well written heartfelt personalities and emotional scarring from the past they certainly have a lot to get over. With love and understanding it’s a great ending for this couple. A fantastic performance from Gregory.

This was a set of 2 novellas and the first full book in the series. I enjoyed all of them. Ink Inspired was about Shep, a tattoo artist, who meets Shea when she comes into get a tattoo. This was a hot, steamy sweet story and Shep gives Shea confidence to live the life she wants. Ink Reunited is a second chance MMF story. This is not typically my kind of story, but I did enjoy it. Delicate Ink starts as a enemies to lovers but really is 2 people supporting each other as they dive head first into a whirlwind relationship while dealing with the challenges life has. I really enjoyed Austin and Sierra’s story in addition this is a very hot and steamy story.

This was an awesome read! I loved getting these 3 books and getting to know the Montgomery's in them. All of the stories are well written and we get plenty of character development and relationship building in them. They aren't exactly short which was perfect for me because once I started reading them, I didn't want to stop. The sex is explicit and there is a little bit of kink but it is all blended perfectly. These books definitely drew me in to the series and I can't wait to read the next one and get everyone's story.

My new fave author

I began reading Austin's story and I was gone. I couldnt wait to keep going to the next one. I was besotted with each and every one. These books are utterly brilliant. The reader cannot but help get caught up in the lives and loves of carefully crafted characters. They are romantic and sizzling which, let's be honest, is what we enjoy reading about. It makes the characters come more to life.

I read many books and the Montgomery ink series is one I can highly recommend.

Wow

What a great read read. Three stories in on box set. Loved each one of them.
Sassy, Ian and Rafe’s story a second chance at love now that they were older. This time they were staying together, only after a little interference from her Dad, cemented their love for each other.
Austin and Sierras story was amazing, even though you got insights from all members of the family.
Shep and Shea’ s I loved, hers an emotional past of guilt, but he was not giving up on her and his love for her.
Narration was awesome too.

Interesting

Glad I bought the box set and read the prequel and initial stories in the right order or it might have been hard to follow. Love Shep and Austin. The women they both ended up with Sierra and Shea. were sweet girls who needed a strong alpha male to love them and show them what healthy family relations looked like. And maybe heal some wounds too. Oh and let’s not for get Sassy, Shep’s shop manager and her two hunks. They had to punch and fight their way back into The Sassy’s life.

Family friends emotional tragedy

This book has such great characters that make up this family. The family does not always mean family is blood related, that is so awesome and real life. Each story has great female or male (or 2) main characters. The issues they have to go through make you want to cry for them while they go through it. This author writes about real issues of life and comes out with such great answers. This series is also extremely hot and sensual, be prepared. Highly recommended for the mature audiences to read.
