A fantastic little book, I highly recommend it. It's written in a light and humorous way, but with deep engagement with scripture and its application to life. She not only considers how we can think about periods and our bodies as disciples of Jesus, but also what our female bodies have to say about being disciples of Jesus. She touches on matters of ritual purity, ageing, godliness, being embodied... there's lots here to reflect on and come back to.
This is written primarily, but not exclusively, for women, and would be of great benefit to men too - not only to better love and serve their sisters in Christ, but to better understand more of what it means that we are created in God's image, through the particular ways God created women's bodies.

Listened to this one. Loved her accent! Rachel opens up an honest conversation about periods in light of God’s Word. It is a good start to this conversation, and a great reminder that all of life is worship - including something that’s not as fun to experience or talk about like periods!

So insightful! I loved the idea of treating each period as a time to reflect on spiritual fruitfulness (or lack thereof), as well as all of the relevant exegesis. Such a good listen!
