My Method to Madness – A True Story of Chaos, Survival, and RedemptionArt was just another teenager until life blindsided him with the unthinkable—the tragic death of his best friend. Grief-stricken and searching for answers, he inherited a Japanese puzzle box, never imagining that opening it would send him spiraling down a path most never return from. What lay inside didn’t just alter his future—it rewrote his destiny.
Based on true events, My Method to Madness isn’t just a memoir—it’s survival in written form. It’s a raw, unapologetic, and brutally honest account of addiction, loss, and the darkest corners of the human experience. This is the roadmap of a man who dug himself into despair and clawed his way back with enough mental fortitude to tell the tale.
Some moments will make you laugh at the absurdity of it all. Others will hit like a gut punch, leaving you questioning how anyone could endure what’s written on these pages. But that’s the reality of life when the world stops making sense—when every bad decision feels like the only way forward.
This book was forged from years of letters, reflections, and relentless self-examination—sometimes twisted, sometimes tragic, but always real. Names have been changed, but the heart of the journey remains untouched. If you’ve ever wondered how addiction takes hold, how a person justifies one more hit, one more risk, one more mistake—this is your answer.
Perhaps you’re one of the fortunate ones who have never been touched by the epidemic of addiction. Count your blessings. But for the rest of the world, My Method to Madness is a key to a doorway that will satisfy your curiosity and illuminate the darkness that destroys families and shreds the fabric of society.
Be warned—what you are about to see can never be unseen.
Incredible stories that will have you on an emotional roller coaster. This book kept me engaged the entire time. The writing is vivid and easy to read, but the stories are raw, unfiltered, and give you an honest look into addiction. I would recommend this book to anyone, but especially to those who have suffered with addiction or have had a family member or friend who has. It will give you a perspective you may have never heard before. I can’t wait for part two!
Seeing things through the eyes of an addict gives you a new perspective on things. This book had me going through all the emotions. Definitely highly recommend! This is not the type of book I normally read so I had some difficulty getting into it in the beginning, if you find yourself having the same issue stick it out. I promise it is so worth it!
