This latest installment was the best so far (imo) This book went beyond just the procedural and focused more on Rory's past and relationships. Some of the tropes in this book are not ones I usually enjoy, but the author wrote them in a way that they didn't contain the normal annoyances I usually have with them. (tropes: amnesia, hidden Kabal)
The only negative I had is that the author recapped parts of the previous books a couple times. It became a little repetitive.

I know that this is the last book in the series, but I want more of Rory and Zev! They are an incredible couple with fabulous stories. It was amazing to see their relationship grow as they joined forces to defeat a very powerful enemy. A fantastic urban fantasy series!

The storyline for "Lethal Contents" quite frankly is incredible. This time, Rory and Zev are attempting to go on a first day; but, every attempt is thwarted by some drama or another. To make matters worse, during one attempt at having a date both Zev and Rory are attacked by a team of arcane assassins leaving them both severely injured. As Rory is recovering in the hospital she learns that Zev is unconscious in a room down the hall from her. When he awakens, they discover that he has lost his memory of the last six months. Now, Zev doesn't remember their budding relationship and he is acting at grade "A"jerk towards Rory.
The Cordova family decides that it would be in the best interest of Rory and Zev if they are housed at their estate. They fear a second attack. As they attempt to filter through all of the problems Emilio learns of Rory's unique magical abilities. He is none too pleased. No sooner than they begin to deal with this new knowledge, Rory discovers some mind blowing information about her parents and her heritage. She and Zev also learn that Sabella has been kidnapped and now must work together to locate her before she is killed.
Once again there is a lot of subterfuge and intrigue. The vipers are emerging from their pits in a big way. However, the knowledge that Rory gains is about to change her life forever. I enjoyed this read tremendously until 98% into the story. After reading three books and waiting for Rory and Zev to finally hook up all we get is a mention that they went away for the weekend and had sexy time. Really?????? Talk about anticlimactic. I cannot believe that the author thought this was an acceptable way to satisfy the readers desire to see these character finally become a couple. I am not sure what her reasoning is. Maybe she is uncomfortable writing sexual scene and if that is the case, she could have easily handling this by bringing the reader to the brink of sexy time and then waning off prior to the deed. I was truly disappointed! Bad form Ms. Gray, bad form!!!!!

Lethal Contents, book 3 of the Arcane Transport series, as a book I borrowed through Kindle Unlimited (KU).. This series is a fast-paced, twisty-turny ride. I love the concept of a transporter, and Rory's other abilities offer a few perks that add spice. A great relationship with Zev and a strong female character make this a great series.

Never disappoints
I save Jami gray books for when I am in a slump. Good world building. Solid character development. Always entertaining and the story is center stage . Inalways like the thread of romance bc every book needs this, but she balances it beautifully. So far transporter series is my favorite series of hers.

Good
Rory and Zav’s adventures with the magical families and there secrets. I found the amnesia plot frustrating. I felt their reunion after didn’t match the trauma. The plot device also meant it didn’t feel like any progress was made in their relationship.

Hope there’s another book coming
The entire cast of characters in the book are rich and complex. The storyline draws you in for a wild ride. I would recommend reading the three books in order.

A great read
I really enjoyed this series and this book was just as good as the previous ones. A well written and fast paced action packed storyline full of magic, intrigue and political backstabbing. Loved the characters and if course the happy ending. Highly recommend.

Brilliant
This conclusion was epic, it was tense with plot twists and excitement through every page. The ending is great but does leave a hint of more to come

A little too predictable...
Loved this series but the oft-used amnesia spin brought this down from a fascinating and original storyline to mediocre and predictable.

Wasn't expecting to feel like this book would be a conclusion of the main plot line we've dealt with so far.
I've enjoyed how the story was fast paced and quite entertaining and how Rory has gone from anonymity to the spotlight and the allies she's made so far.
I wish there had been a bit more focus on the magical training aspect tho, and certainly the romance between her an Zev could use a bit more chemistry in my opinion.
