An exciting story you won't want to miss!
Skin is the fourth book in the Demon Chaser series, and it's certainly a must read. This is a unique series that I really enjoyed, even though it was a bit different than what I'm used to.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and fantastic author.

Demon Chashers
I love Charlene Hartnady books. She weaves a great story each time. I always end up loving the characters. This whole series will not disappoint. Just like all her series!😊

Brilliant
Demon Chaser by Charlene Hartnady are 4 brilliant books. Good demons v bad demons with a lot of love thrown in. Hope there are more in the series. I would recommend these books.

Good short series
Looking for a series that is an easy quick read? That would be the Demon Chaser Series. All four books were very good and kept my interest through the Christmas Holiday break. Looking forward to more of your books.

Good from start to finish
This book starts off steamy and ends just as much. Got kind of confused 🤔 with some if the time lines, but wasn't difficult to catch up. All in all this was a good one.

Another interesting book in this series. I enjoyed it and I think the cover is hot! It’s quick but a great read.

Demon Caught
Wolf vs skins and they both win. Phoenix and Gabby kick ass and take no prisoners alive. This is a different take on accidental pregnancy lol. highly recommend this book.

*I have not read the rest of the books in this series because I received it in the Masters of the Hunt box set*
Although I haven't read the series as a whole I did find this particular one to be interesting and fun to read. We begin this novella with Gaby who is a breed of demon called a Skin. Skins are surrounded in mystery because they keep to themselves and withhold their secrets. But, Gaby has grown up without her familiars and becomes a DCA agent after she discovers who and what she is. One day Gaby is running an errand and her demon goes dormant for an unknown reason. When Gaby loses her demon self she is all but helpless when a pack of demon bloods come to take advantage of her vulnerability. Just as things begin to get hairy a demon wolf, Phoenix, comes in for the rescue. As this leads to a night of spectacular passion Gaby soon finds out why her demon abandoned her. Four months later Phoenix wants to reconnect with the seductive woman he remembers and finds Gaby in a more 'rotund' state. I find it so adorable that Phoenix would be willing to stick around when he is met with a challenge, while other men would be more likely to run. I really ate up this book, and I may give the other books a whirl.

I love this series! This is book 4 of the Demon Chaser Series and I am officially hooked! Exciting! Smart! Fast Paced! Original! Witty! So Funny! Well Written! Imaginative! Addictive! Thrilling! Captivating! Romantic! Sweet! Sensual! Arousing! Hot! Sexy! Steamy! And did I say steamy and sexy......yeah I did, twice! So dreamy! Sigh......! This book has it all.......makes me gush like a teenager and I'm 62. Yep, 62! The characters are quirky and fascinating! The story entertains and enthralls while capturing you in its web of magic and fantasy. A wonderful arousing read! This book is a stand alone book with NO cliffhangers but do yourself a favor - read them all! They are fantastic! Sexy male demon wolf-check! Beautiful dangerous female skin demon, demon chaser-check! Love at first sight-check! Kidnapping and suspense-check! Sweet Romance, hot chemistry and steamy sex-check, check and triple check! Hubba! Never enough!
I can't get enough of Charlene's stories! I think this was my favorite of the Demon Chaser's.
The characters were very well written and had depth and dimension to them. The author kept me guessing and on my toes through the whole story.
Gaby - I feel like there is so much more to her! I just wanted her story to continue. I like how it progressed and how her internal dialogue handled the changes going on. I was chuckling during some of her comments.
Phoenix - definitely a strong character. He is a wolf that is on a mission and Gaby is it. I couldn't get enough of how he acted and handled their journey.
This story was fantastic and I highly recommend reading it and the others in the series.

Book 4 of Demon Chaser series.
Gaby a Skin and Phoneix a wolf are brought together when she is attacked by 3 bloods (vamipires). For some unknown reason, Gaby's demon has gone dormant. She and Phoenix are strongly drawn to each other. They decide to have a one-night-stand and there are big consequences resulting from it.
I liked that this seemed to be one of the longer books in the series. There is some disturbing violence (and I'm not a shrinking violet) but the sex is smoking hot.
It was a little hard to get to know Gay and Phoenix at the start but they eventually grew on me.

3.5 stars. This is the only book I have read from this series, but I may go back and read some of the authors. The main character of this book is basically a supernatural assassin who gets more than she bargained for with a one night stand. This was a witty, snarky, occasionally steamy paranormal romance. I like books where the main characters aren't damsels in distress and this book delivered. I felt that something's that happened in the later chapters came out of left field a little bit and factored into my choice of not giving this book four or five stars. This was a good read and if you like romances with a strong female lead this book is for you.

I have enjoyed this author's writing style. She makes you feel as if you can feel the chemistry between Gaby and Phoenix. I feel in love with them, they made a perfect match. As with all the books in this series, the books were quick fun reads but could have easily been expanded if the author provided more details to Gaby's and Phoenix's past history, including parents and so forth. Along with character development. Yet, I still enjoyed the book, I just wish I could have more from this book because I really enjoyed the main characters.

Gaby and Phoenix had a very intense first meeting with fireworks and shooting stars, lots of attraction and desire. Of course, neither one of them could forget their one night stand. Their story became more intriguing as they began exploring their situation and relationship. The unexpected surprises and details regarding Gaby's species and early life kept this tale interesting and exciting. I was completely absorbed with this book and look forward to reading many more works from Ms. Harnady's creative mind. Greatly Entertaining!!!!!

This was my first read from this Author and part of the Boxed Set Masters of the Hunt and enjoyed the story line, the interaction of the characters, the emotional turmoil and the how I was drawn into the book and not wanting to put it down. I will be reading the other books in this series.
So far all the books I have read from Masters of the Hunt have been a lot of fun to read.

Really enjoyed the book shame Amazon had problem with book as it was missing words bench the four star but the story was great. One night and look what ha opp pens she can't forget him and he can't forget her. Good read even with missing words.

4 1/2 star read. Was pulled in from the beginning and could not put this book down. Skin is about a wolf that was mentioned in book 2 and a skin chaser of non law abiding species. Was part of Kindle Unlimited and is NOT a cliffhanger. Has a HEA and is a great read!
