I actually give it 3.5 stars. The book has many good suggestions for anyone, not just couples, on how to get their financial life in order. Not so much detailed instructions, but broad brush strokes on approaching your goals and finances together (understandable since every situation and individuals are unique). There are useful worksheets in the appendix for couples or individuals to fill in the specifics of their situation.
Amazing book for anyone, you don't have to be in a relationship to read this. David provides a great overview of everything a person needs as they start their journey to financial independence. This allows people to go into depth about aspects of the book they found interesting or want to utilize in their own lives after reading this book.
I've recommended this book to numerous people to kick start their journey to financial independence.
