Alexa, find the nearest poetry slam! I’m not a huge fan of poetry (sad I know) but, that may no longer be the case. I so enjoyed this book! Winston James did a phenomenal job bringing Nyles Adams’ poems to life. I could easily see myself sitting in a dimly lit lounge watchin’ him recite those poems live and in person. Honey, I was over here snappin’ my fingers at the end of each poem screamin’, “Yaaaaasssss Nyles!” The Book of Nyles was a whole neo soul vibe. I’m in awe at how beautiful these poems were. You could just feel the love and adoration Nyles has for Trevia coming through each one. I may not have been a fan of poetry before but, I’m definitely one now.

If there was ever an audiobook to listen to, 🗣️THIS WAS THE ONE!!! My Monday morning at work was just transformed to a cozy cafe on a Friday night with a glass of wine in front of me as I enjoyed some of THE sexiest poetry…. Whew Chile!! Winston James did the dãmñ thing with this one! This was Love Jones 2.0. “Say baby, can I be your slave….”🤣🤣 I love me some poetry so this was right up my alley! I need 8 more hours of this please and thank you!! 🔥🔥🔥

I love a good poetry slam and this was everything! I don't like to read poetry, because it's sometimes hard to understand the inflections timing and spacing needed to feel the authors words. This however was amazing. What must it be like for a man to love you this much?? I mean it was extremely clear how much Nyles loved his lady in red. He was head over heels and the way he expressed it through his words was beautiful ❤️

Come through Nyles and Alexandria! I am a lover of poetic prose and this was beautiful. You can feel every ounce of Nyles' love through his expressive words. Not everyone can design poetry flawlessly that leaves you in awe. Alexandria House is a master wordsmith, point blank period! Keep 'em coming!

I love how this short book gave us a little more of Nyles! Such beautifully written words with all the usual heat of an Alexandria House book! It's my anniversary month so I'm feeling extra lovey didn't know it could get much more extra if with me! Lol! Ten years of marriage 14 together and this right here got me!

turn down the lights, crank up the neo-soul, and let the snapping begin! this is my introduction to Nyles, and i am absolutely here for every moment of it!
The Love After series is already on my TBR list, and I can’t wait to immerse myself in the vibes.
Winston James has truly brought this poetry to life, and i’m convinced he’s on his way to becoming one of my all-time favorite narrators. His storytelling is chef's kiss!

Audible: Winston James: Winston James’s voice was made for spoken word. He truly brought Nyles poems to life. He had that sexy hood inflection that we know Nyles speaks with and his words were so clear and sensual. The whole mood was set with the music and the way he spoke. This audiobook was everything and a must listen.

Nyles Adams: If, “speaking it into existence,” was a person it would be Nyles. To be seen through this man’s eyes. Nyles is an artist and a man in love, and this book was a deep moment of worship.

If you don’t know who Nyles Adams is where have you been?! This was such a fun book of poems. It was nice having Nyles words in one place and to feast on his mind-blowing words all at once. This book was like a man’s letter to the woman he loved, and it had you falling in love. It was so nice to hear these poems and to be taken back to those moments in the original stories. The Book of Nyles is truly a must not miss.

FINGER SNAPS

Finger snaps! Finger snaps! Finger snaps! If you're a lover of the spoken then you will truly enjoy The Book of Nyles! If you are a reader of Alexandria House then Nyles isn't new to you. His way with words is so smooth, you immediately become enraptured. As they say, when Nyles speaks, we listen. The love for his woman Trevia is tangible in his dedications to her and its beautiful! FEW might be my favorite in this collection but they are all fire! Ms. House definitely has a hig with this collection and I hope and pray it is made into an audio book soon! FINGER SNAPS!

I’m usually not into reading poetry. However, this particular piece was incredibly sultry and sensuous, capturing your attention right away. Coupled with Winston James’ very sexy voice, "The Book of Nyles" was definitely a hit and this delivered everything I enjoy. I often find reading poetry challenging due to the nuances of inflection, timing, and spacing needed to truly feel the author's words. This, however, was amazing.

I was excited about this book from Ms. House!! I love poetry and a book of it was a little bit of a departure, but one I knew from her previous works would be a masterpiece!! This book is already great in my mind and I can’t wait to preorder the Audible version as well!! 🤩🤩🥰

I'm not really sure how to rate this book. 🤷🏾‍♀️
I enjoyed it and I really enjoy the character Nyles Adams, so this was a cool book with just his art.
None of the poems jumped out to me or struck me as something I want to keep with me.
I listened to this and the voice actor was so great!
Again, not sure how to rate this, so I guess I'm just gonna leave the star rating blank.

This is such an interesting way to approach an update on a couple (Nyles and Trevia) from a previous book. It is a perfect short listen for all those who used to (or currently) loves a good poetry slam. This is a "you must listen to this one." Winston's voice with the music was perfection for this poetry.
