I believe Mr. Bickle's exegesis is more like eisegesis. I read it and listened to the sermons along with the workbook. Not a strong basis for good theology.

This study introduces and expands so many foundational truths that have the power to change your relationship with God for the better. Here are some concepts I remember off the top of my head that were very impactful to me:

-There's a difference between rebelliousness and immaturity.
-Salvation is not a matter of mature vs. immature, it's a matter of being sincere vs. insincere.
-God loves and enjoys you even when your love and obedience are maturing.
-It takes God to love God. You need the Holy Spirit to expand and mature your love for God.
-The first step toward victory is simply the decision to say "yes" to God.
-God's heart is moved when we say "yes" to him, even before step out.
-God sees "budding virtues" in us and identifies us according to those long before they are mature.
-God will sometimes remove his presence in order to draw us closer to himself and increase spiritual hunger.
-A mark of maturity is partnering with God to nurture younger believers.
-Being consecrated to God means seeing yourself as God's inheritance.
