Elisa and Tasmin have fully reawakened, their powers have been restored, and the demon Eve has been defeated. As the New Year rang in on a high note, one would think life could finally get back to normal for the witches.
However, with the arrival of Tasmin and Octavian’s long-departed daughter Attalah , the witches and their men are rocked in ways none of them could imagine.
Then there’s Archangel Raphael, unceremoniously dumped on the witches by none other than Azazel.
The secrets he harbors will change the course of not only the witches’ lives, but the world as they know it.
**Audio listener** This book is amazing! I learned so much history that I actively looked up. The authors storytelling ability is amazing. The spice was just right, not overdone. The multiple POV’s was refreshing and not the least bit overwhelming. I love the way modern AAVE was incorporated, in addition to Gullah culture, African mythology & deities, and hoodoo rituals. It all came together to highlight the rich legacy of African Americans and made me feel seen. The plot twists kept coming and the unveiling of Azazel’s plan was well worth the wait! I can’t wait for the next book! The narrators were amazing. I tried to keep this review short and sweet without spoilers, you’re welcome!
