Mallory had it all - great friends, a handsome boyfriend, and a very successful bakery business. Her life was orderly and neat, just as she liked it. But when she crosses paths with a blond-haired, blue-eyed man named Greyson, everything changes. Things become unpredictable, messy, and chaotic. Was this what she wanted, or was it too much for her to handle? Could someone so planned and organized make the leap into something so spontaneous and unexpected?

In Six Rules, the sequel to Six Days, we are dealt Mallory's story. Mallory is a really organized person, almost to the point of OCD. So far, everything seems to be falling into place for her. Right up until her long-time boyfriend decides that she's more committed to her work than their relationship. Soon afterwards she runs into a very handsome Greyson. Mallory's first impression of him is cocky, self-absorbed, narcissistic. But you can't always judge someone by what they show off on the outside. Greyson is actually quite the opposite and continually proves that to Mallory. I don't quite understand Mallory's reluctantcy to give Greyson the benefit of the doubt, but we all have our quirks! I really enjoyed getting a better look at another couple among this great group of friends!!
The main character, Mallory, is seriously annoying. I thought maybe I would learn to like her as the book progressed, but no, right to the end she annoyed the life out of me. She seriously had to find fault and be contentious about everything that came out of Grayson's mouth, and he was forced to forever be apologizing to her for apparently saying things wrong when it wasn't him, it was her. The book kind of just ended, with a romantic speech, but no real explanation or resolution. All in all, very glad it was a short book, otherwise I would have never made it through.
Kinda quirky in a cute way. Greyson and Mallory are sweet together. Seems kinda over the top when he always apologized for things. Loved the fact that all the characters from the first book are also in the second one along with a couple of newbies. Wished this one would have been closer in length as the first one....plenty of story avenues to expand on. All in all another good one in this series. Already bought the third book and getting ready to start it. P.S. Megan's name was misspelled in this one once as Meagan.
I was expecting to hear more about Addie and Griffin and his legal troubles. This book was about Mallory and Greyson. I enjoyed Mallory in the first book, not so much in this one and can clearly see why she's had relationship troubles. Greyson is very kind hearted and I felt he was much too good for Mallory, he was once again having to be the "white knight" and everyone saw it but Mallory.
