HOT KNIGHT FOR HIRE
Lili has done it again! First she brought us Hot Revenge for Hire and now Hot Knight for Hire Both men are sexy, hilarious, and protective but other than that, their personalities are completely different. You don't need to read Bash's story to read Aidan's but that is where I first met Aidan and started to fall.
Aidan owns a tattoo shop but in his spare time he works for his best friend Bash at Magnificent Bastard Consulting. The man that will make your ex-asshole walk away for good. To help his clients gain their power back. He might have to fake their relationship but he never fakes that he cares. He is more a lover than a fighter but the exes don't need to know that. He is a lover but they never go past the kissing stage. That is until he meets his next client. If he would have gotten the Intel like he was suppose to, he wouldn't have been shocked to see her waiting for him. The woman that he can't get out of his mind, even eleven years later...
Aidan doesn't even know her name. They were best friends for two years while they were in college and running in the Dasher group together. Rules were rules. No real names. No relationships. Only notes in a statues bum could be exchanged. Of course some rules were bent but never broken. A regret they both had. But that was eleven years ago, a lifetime ago. They moved on and now Polka Dot Panties AKA Cat needs Aidan to survive. Her ex is dangerous and won't get the hint that they are over. When Aidan took this job, he had no idea how deep Cat has really gotten into with her ex. He is determined to keep her safe. To do that he needs to keep this professional but when things heat up, he can't stop what's about to happen.
Cat loved him all those years ago. But he went away and never looked back. Not one letter, text, or phone call. He broke her heart without even knowing it. Now, he is back in her life but is it real? They are on the run, and having sex marathons but what will happen when they go back to reality? Will they even make it back? Will they figure it all out before it's too late?
I started to fall for Aidan as supporting character and now I have fallen all the way. He is a sexy, protective, bossy tattooed dirty-talking beast with a big heart. Then there is Cat. She is a badass. She might look delicate but she is anything but. She is strong, sassy, and kickass. Together, they are on fire, funny as fuck, and stubborn as hell. They are also in danger. The added suspense made their story even better. I also loved that Lili added some of their past communication into the mix. It made them seem more real.
Overall...it's a sexy, funny, and suspenseful read. I laughed. I got heated in the best way. Cringed. And even shed some tears! The best combo!! I can't wait to see what Lili has coming up next!

Lili has done it again! She made me feel all of the feels. The good, the bad, and the ugly. It's now time for a badass female to get into the game and her name is Shane "Miraculous Mess" Willoughby. She wasn't sure if she was the woman for the job as a fake girlfriend to a hockey player with a scandal but the minute she saw him...she wanted to be.
Jake Falcone likes to keep his private life out of the headlines so when a crazy ex-girlfriend is going to the press with accusations that could ruin him, he is in dire need of an intervention. He would rather hire someone to act as his girlfriend than to go to the police and have his life even more scandalized. He just wanted his ex-girlfriend out of his life and to do that she needs to finally get the hint that they are over. What he didn't expect was Shane. From the moment he saw her, he thought she was beautiful but then after one "date" he knew she was more. She was incredible...inside and out. And after one kiss he wished this didn't have to be pretend. But did she feel the same way? He felt the electricity between them but maybe she was just that good of an actress.
Shane isn't sure if it's because she hasn't had sex in a year or if Jake was just that amazing at kissing but she wanted more. A lot more. She wanted to climb him like a tree and never let go. But he was a client. Which meant he was off-limits. She doesn't know how long she could hold out with this whole pretend thing when it feels so real. He feels so real. She wasn't a hockey fan. Not even a sports fan but she has heard the stories about the players...well, being players. Jake seemed different. After getting to know his backstory, she knew he wasn't a bad guy. He was quite the opposite. He was a mama's boy with a big heart. And when they get even closer she finds he is big everywhere and is one amazing dirty-talker that can back it up. He could be everything except it was suppose to be pretend and it's going a little too fast. Can you really know a person in just a few weeks?
Now...back to the crazy ex! How are they going to get rid of her? Can they figure it out before she wrecked havoc on their relationship? She is definitely certifiable but is she dangerous?
I loved that this sexy, flirty, dirty standalone was mostly from Shane's POV. She was the one in charge of the consulting while he was in charge in the bedroom which she wanted and loved by the way. And speaking of bedrooms...Jake and Shane are fucking hot when they get down and dirty. And when they are not tangled in the sheets they are fun, flirty, and get to know each other. I very much enjoy texting and emails in books. The texts they exchange are so much fun! It's a great way to fast forward conversations. And it can take away your nerves too. Too open up and that is what they both need.
Overall...I loved every minute of it! Shane is kickass. She might be an heiress to a fortune but she is no princess. Unless it's one with a sword. Jake is a sexy badass with a big heart. Together they are magic. They made me laugh, swoon, cry, and get hot and bothered.
P.S Seeing what the previous couples were up to was awesome!

Meant for You is a standalone novel but it also part of Big O Dating Specialist series. If you read the previous books then you might remember Adeline as Shane’s neighbor in Hot Mess for Hire. You also might remember the newest consultant named Nate. This is their story and it’s one of my favorites from the series.
Seven years ago Nate and Adeline had one crazy epic summer together. Nate was eighteen and Adeline was sixteen but it was everything to them. They weren’t planning for future past the summer but things didn’t go as planned. They fell hard. And then it was over. Nate walked away without looking back and Adeline was heartbroken. But, life went on. Kind of. They both never forgot about that summer of love. It changed them. Fate put them together that summer and now it has brought them back together. But will it be different this time?
Addie couldn’t do this. How was she going to spend five days in a lodge with the only man that she ever loved. The one that walked away. The one that broke her. She was a different girl that summer. She was confident, brace, wild, and felt beautiful. When it was over. That was over. She didn’t go to college, she went to work for an old bat and drove her to appointments, read her the Times, and did batshit crazy errands. She felt stuck but what else could she do? She didn’t know but she couldn’t do it anymore. She needed to find herself again and that led her to the lodge with led her to him. Could he help her bring that girl back from that summer? She misses that girl.
Nate can’t believe they ended up here together. He wanted to explain to her what happened at the end of that summer. And from the moment he saw her again, he wanted to show her that they deserved a second chance. He is determined to prove it to her. He wasn’t going to let her walk away. She was just as beautiful if not more beautiful now. She still had spunk but it was different. Their undeniable connection was still there. He could work with that. He just needed her to listen. Will he get her forgiveness? He all he has ever wanted since he walked away.
I loved this book! The characters have a crazy and wild connection that I could feel through the pages. They really are meant to be. Addie might not think she is the most confident but is stronger than she knows. She just needed an added push. Nate is swoon worthy. For reals. He knows Addie deserves the best and that is what he wants to give her. He wants to make her feel beautiful. Wanted. Loved. But, of course they have their past to move on from. Nate isn’t the only one that has some explaining to do.
Overall…it’s one of my favorite books written by Lili! It had everything. Humor, sexiness, sweetness, and emotion. Plus, the characters are total book nerds! There is also some unique twists that I didn’t see coming. Awesomeness.

I enjoyed each story in this series. They were all different but equally entertaining and full of wit, charm and of course beautiful romances. Great series!
