Alison is pregnant and Harker should be the happiest man alive, except she hates him.

He’ll do anything she wants him to do except the one thing she asks, to let her go.

Alison wants nothing to do with Harker ever again but she’s bound by the contract to stay with him. Worse than that, her body doesn’t care that he betrayed her. It wants him – his touch, his kiss, his love.

Can she stay away from him until she has their child or will she cave into her desire?

Taking the Cake

There's a strong possibility that these two will send me passed the brink! This series has been rife with emotional turmoil but this book really takes the cake. I laughed (oh, how I laughed - that trip to the grocery store is priceless!). 😂😂 I cried. 😭 And my heart broke repeatedly. 💔💔

This third book in The Billionaire's Baby series completely drew me in! I never wanted to put it down. I'm in denial that it's ended. Thankfully (???), there's still another book to come.

Ellis O. Day, please put me out of my misery and give me the HEA for Alison and Harker immediately! Please. Pretty please!

I'm loving the unconventional, sizzling 🔥 story with BDSM elements that's playing out but I would strongly encourage that you read the first two books before this. Understanding Harker's background will allow you to better enjoy this book.

This series is part of the La Petite Mort Club universe but you don't need to read other series from this universe to enjoy and understand this particular series. There are several familiar characters, including Ethan, Merri, and Adrian. I'm voluntarily reviewing an ARC of this book.

This is the third part of the Baby Battle series and yes you do need to read the other parts or you will be lost. It is a nice short novella that I really enjoyed. Our girl Alison has had enough and being pregnant she knows she has the upper hand with Harker. It appears there is one more book in this series to see where this couple ends up or do they?

Ellis O. Day has written another page turner with book 3 of Allison and Harker's story. Book 3 in The Baby Battle picks up right after book 2 and Allison is finally pregnant which has her hormones totally out of her control. And Harker is determined to make their marriage real but his need for control pulls them further apart. There a few hilarious scenes that only added to the story IMO. The ending left me begging for more. Cannot wait for book 4!

This story is the third in a four-part series. You should read the first two books first since jumping in here will not make much sense. We continue the journey of Alison and Harker, who are falling in love but cannot deal with that level of loss of control. Her pregnancy seems to have derailed her brain and emotions. Some of the scenes are hilarious, like going to the supermarket. She is angry much of the time, and I can't believe she gets any work done! Their relationship goes from wary to weird. They are barely speaking but having sex all the time. (hormones, ya know) We begin to see how each of them became the person they are. They are both guilty over their decisions but realize that the contract is still there so far. They soldier on, and the results are heartbreaking. We readers know their thoughts, but both are too afraid to share. We despair of this awkward couple. They deserve to be happy, and I am sure the author will get us there in the final book.

Again too much animosity. First book was great. Parts two and three were disappointing. I hope that part four is better.

[this is book 1 of a series]

One offer. One condition. One unforgettable temptation.

I don’t know what it is about the La Petite Mort series, but for some reason I am H.O.O.K.E.D.! 🫠
It all started with Six Nights of Sin: 6 Book Series, which immediately threw me into Six Weeks of Seduction: La Petite Mort Club, Book 3.
And now I just binge-listened to The Billionaire's Baby: The Complete Series (Books 1-4): La Petite Mort Club, Book 7!
I finished the full +19hrs between Saturday and Monday!? 🙃

And I don’t even like dual narration or 3rd person.
So what’s up with that!? 🤷🏼‍♀️

So all I can say is:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the story by Ellis O. Day
👏👏👏👏👏 performances by Summer Morton and Robert Hatchet🎙️

My favorite quote:
"Yes." He pushed down his annoyance, reminding himself that trust took time. He'd been in a relationship with her for almost a year, but she only joined two days ago.

What it is about:
A billionaire boss propositions his brilliant employee to have his child through unconventional means, leading to a steamy romance.

My thoughts:
💋irresistible and seductive
💊unexpectedly addictive
🫂relatable characters
🎙️excellent dual narration
💯recommend
🤣I initially thought his last name was Barker, but that got clarified with the launch of Harker's Barker Meter

What you need to know:
📚interconnected series
👥dual POV, 3rd person
⌛️short chapters
🫠he falls first, he falls harder
⛓️sex club La Petite Mort Club
❤️HEA (in book 4)

She may be pregnant but that does mean things are going to plan, or the contract

The Baby Battle is the third book in The Billionaire's Baby series and continues the story of Alison and Harker. In this part of their story things are explosive between them in more ways than one. Alison is furious because of all the hidden things she has found is the contract she signed with Harker. Then add in the fact she is pregnant and with raging hormones she is one woman who could burn down Harker just by looking at him. Harker has a lot of groveling and figuring out how to actually apologize and repair his relationship with Alison. He is overjoyed she is pregnant with his baby but when she doesn't want anything to do with him, other than some hot sex to scratch her hormone itch, things are not quite going his way.

I am still really enjoying Allison and Harker and their relationship. She may be in a situation where she could be under Harker's control but she instead takes a stand and puts him on his heels in no uncertain terms. Harker finds himself in completely uncharted territory and is trying to muddle his way through.

If only Harker and Alison would really talk to each other, they could save themselves a lot of grief. But then the story wouldn't have all the back and forth between them getting along and fighting. Alison has had a meeting with her lawyers and found out all the loopholes that are in the contract she signed with Harker. So she's upset because she feels he doesn't trust her. Now she is back to only talking to him when necessary for work - that is until her sex hormones take over and make her very horny. Things are going well until Harker becomes unsatisfied with just having sex. After all, even though he won't admit it, he is very much in love with Alison. Will they get their HEA in the final installment?

This third book in the series is so full of angst. I feel for Alison as Harker is definitely being stubborn and not showing how he is really feeling. Then we start seeing cracks in Harker and realizes that he really does care about Alison but he has already pushed her too far. There is is much emotional heartbreak and you can’t help but to feel for both of them. I can’t wait until the next book to see what happens next!.

I received a free advanced review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest opinion.

The tension between Alison and Harker is palpable!
Ellis makes you feel the pressure on Harker to repair the damage of the contract, yet his hidden fear is still real. I love how Alison steps into her own right as a strong female protagonist, and struggles to keep Harker’s attempts at bay with the emotional upheaval of pregnancy. Here’s hoping that someone lectures Harker about “If you love someone, set them free…” by Richard Bach, because I want to Gibb-slap him on the head for missing the big picture. Here’s to Book 4 coming out ASAP!

Oh Harker. Sigh! He has the emotional sensitivity of a rutabaga. I’m still Team Alison all the way, but I’m starting to see the cracks in his defenses that let me understand why he’s so committed to doing all the wrong things with Alison. I want to hug him almost as much as I want to smack some sense into him. I loved seeing Alison stand up for herself and what she needed out of this relationship. It just broke my heart where these two had to get to before they realized it.

Harker and Alison are still living together under one roof with her being pregnant but Alison could care less. She just wants to get other there, be away from Harker to try and figure out if she can actually forgive him for his mistakes and if she can truly make this marriage work. Harker loves Alison so much and will do absolutely anything for her except what she really wants which is to let her go. Can they stay together and keep their space that Alison’s head wants or will her body that wants Harker like he wants her win out? Happy reading 😁

You know what lemme say whatever is in my mouth because in the first books I didn't dislike alison infact I disliked Harker and as the story progresses I started seeing a character development in harker but now in this book we're seeing a character deterioration(idk if that should be used but whatever)in alison instead of development or she should have just remained the same Urghh I mean ik she's pregnant but even with pregnancy girl you being too much too unreasonable too frustrating idk how could Harker tolerate her...urghhh

I can’t express how much I love Ellis O.Day’s books and this is one of my fast favourites. The sauerkraut scene had me in stitches and while the logic of Alison and Ellie’s explanations/arguments with Adrian cannot be denied, it was so hilarious I couldn’t read for laughing. There were also many scenes that brought sad tears to my eyes and the ending was heartbreaking but I have faith it will all be resolved as it should be but I am just not sure how. I cannot wait to find out.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

The finale to the Billionaire's Baby series by Ellis O. Day is here. Harker and Allison are hot and cold as a couple. Her hormones definitely lead to some funny scenes but the bickering got on my nerves. This book wraps up the series in style. Each book has been building on the previous and this culmination ends just like I wanted it to.

So many emotions I feel like I am on a Meri- go - round

I am so upset with both characters I am about to throw my Kindle across the room! This series is frustrating although good. The emotional roller coaster I need to get of of before my head explodes! The other books did not seem to be like this series. Am I missing something??? Did something change??? Allison seems to be evil.

Well the saga continues with Harker and Alison but can they finally let each other know their true feelings or will they make each other destroy them? I can't wait to see what happens next.

Will they make it or not?

Harker and Alison may/may not last to see this baby through! There was so much push & pull!! But, thankfully, they BOTH truly want it to happen that I think it’s going to work!!!

I'm not sure I've ever rooted for any couple to make their relationship work as I have this one. That's just how captivating these characters and their story are. Great writing with lots of spice.
