Max, an ex Navy Seal is hired to find the wife of a billionaire mob boss. Jacqueline was kidnapped by the Italian mafia. As with most mafia books it's overflowing with danger and lots of fast action. His life is repeatedly in danger and he wonders if they will get out alive. Max is a good character and it was a fun read with an engaging story line. I read a complimentary copy of the book via the author and I voluntarily chose to write a review.

A nice plot idea, but this book desperately needs an editor, character and plot development...There are chapters with different names but duplicate content, repeated sentences in almost each chapter about Max's determination to do the mission because Jacqueline's life was at stake, a resistance movement, and another enemy that just suddenly appear, and his relationship with Jacqueline happens too quickly.

Max an ex navy seal is hired to find the wife of a mob boss kidnapped by the 'Ndrangheta a ruthless Italian mafia.

Max has to use all his skills as he agrees to find Jacqueline and although he is warned by his friends to forget the idea because if he is caught they will torture him before killing him.

Loved the action very tense.

Would highly recommend.
