A really interesting overview of how our hormones, thyroid, stress levels and overall health can be affected by the way we live. After everything I’ve researched throughout my own whirlwind of the past two years, much of this wasn’t completely new to me, but it brought so many things together in a quick and easy-to-understand way. A good reminder that we aren’t meant to constantly rush through life, and that we need time to stop, rest, digest and restore. Whether we realise it or not, constantly rushing can affect us both physically and mentally. This is also a great book to pick up again when you need a reminder to slow down, or to refer back to particular sections along the way.
