It was fine? I didn’t super care about much. Minimal character growth, nothing ever felt like it had stakes? I read it as a time filler and it was fine.
I love Rey and Poe and Rose…. I was disappointed none of them felt like more than flat 2d models of the real character.
Then again, this is probably a perfect book for a young fan to kill time. Just doesn’t give that STAR WARS oomph that, say, one of the Thrawn books does.
