I loved this book. This book, along with the rest of the series, is so much fun to read. The characters are an eclectic group of different ages and backgrounds, but they work well together. I love the book journeys that the book club gets to take. This journey takes the club to a film festival in a ski town during the winter. Upon arriving in town, the group meets the ghost of a long-dead film star. The group believes they know whose death they are there to investigate until they discover the body of an up-and-coming actress. As the group solves puzzles for clues and attends festival events, they are met with red herrings and misdirections while trying to solve the murder and why it happened.

All thoughts and opinions are my own and have not been influenced by anyone.

I loved this book. I think it might be the best yet, have I said that before? Probably but the books in this series just seem to get better and better. This book was more a normal investigation, well normal for this group of characters that includes a ghost and travel into books. What I mean is they were puzzling out the clues (literally) more, rather than just reacting. I also liked that it was focused more on the unusual mystery rather than lots of side trips to get food, this group does like there food. Okay I loved the setting around a film festival town, the author had a lot of fun creating this book and it was pieced together well giving you lots of suspects to puzzle over, even what the case they were there to investigate even was. Could I name the killer or why? Nope I was too busy caught up in the magic of the story unfolding. I just love the characters, both the regulars and the new. Again it's nice to read a book where the author has so much fun creating and dreaming them up. There was a few surprises which means I can't wait for the new book.

On the recommendation of the library guardian the book club decide to enter a mountain too setting where the town is geared up for films festivals. Rubbing shoulders with the rich and famous sounds fun but it's not all fun and games, they are there to solve a very puzzling mystery. With help from puzzles, missing pieces and a friendly ghost the book club members must find a killer.
I was given this free review copy book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

It’s time to go to the movies! I love the movie festival theme mixed in with the ski town. The author does such a great job of providing all the details. It makes you feel like you are right there! It’s so easy to imagine everything. I always enjoy Atticus with his history facts. It’s stuff you wouldn’t think to ask about but so interesting to know. This was a lot of fun and cannot wait to see where the book club ends up next.

Thank you to the author for copy in exchange for an honest review.

Another fun adventure with the book club! I loved the setting of this one and was intrigued that they weren't even sure what the mystery was in this one up to the 50% mark. It gave us a chance to learn more about film festivals and what goes into the red carpet events, right down to the scintillating gossip and cat fights. The mystery seemed to solve itself in this one and that was fine as it was difficult to get access to the suspects but I didn't feel there was as much investigation because of this. Other than that, this was a great addition to the series and I look forward to the next.

I received a copy from the author for an honest review.

Elizabeth Pantley delivers yet another delightful installment in her enchanting series with "Puzzles and Premieres." This time, the Book Club finds themselves immersed in a thrilling mystery set against the backdrop of a film festival, where the first clues come in an unexpected form—jigsaw puzzles. What sets this story apart is the intriguing delay in revealing the victim’s identity, along with the introduction of Gloria, a new character who adds fresh dynamics to the plot.

The heart of this series lies in its extraordinary cast of characters, particularly the members of the Book Club—including the unforgettable Frank, a talking cat. Each member brings unique skills and personality quirks to the table, making their crime-solving collaborations both engaging and clever. Pantley excels at crafting well-rounded, relatable protagonists, while intentionally keeping the "fictional characters" they encounter less developed—a brilliant narrative choice that heightens the contrast between worlds.

One of the most compelling aspects of the series is its evolving Book Club roster, as characters occasionally choose to remain in their "forever books," paving the way for new faces. "Puzzles and Premieres" continues this tradition, keeping the dynamic fresh and unpredictable.

The plot is fast-paced and immersive, with Pantley masterfully unraveling the mystery in a way that keeps readers guessing alongside the Book Club. The reveal of the solution to the crime is perfectly timed, offering a satisfying "aha!" moment.

If you love cozy mysteries with a dash of the paranormal, witty dialogue, and a cast of endearing characters, "Puzzles and Premieres" is a must-read. Pantley has crafted another winner in this charming and clever series!

A huge thank you to the author for sending me a copy of this magical cozy mystery! This book was such a delightful read. In this story, our beloved book club besties are swept into the pages of a murder mystery novel, and the only way out is to solve the crime. From ghosts to talking cats, the story is filled with charming paranormal touches both in the world and among the friend group.

I especially loved the old Hollywood movie star angle and the cozy small-town winter setting. It was the perfect vibe as we head into fall, which is my favorite reading season. The ending was especially satisfying (no spoilers), and I really appreciated that certain characters were given the choice to shape their own futures.

While this can absolutely be enjoyed as a standalone, I’d recommend starting earlier in the series. I jumped in at book ten and quickly realized that the friend group has come together over the course of the previous mysteries. It would be so fun to watch those connections form from the beginning.

For those who’ve asked, the series is available on Kindle Unlimited, perfect for fellow KU readers looking for their next cozy binge.

Jumanji. That is my thought every time I pick one of these up. Except on a bookish journey instead.

In this adventure, the magical bookclub gets to rub elbows with some of the world's elite entertainers as they are pulled into this month's bookclub read. They have fun, meet some interesting characters, and are having the time of their life. Until the reason they are there comes across the book page.

Now they have to decipher the clues, brought to them through actual puzzle pieces this time. Can they solve the mystery and get home? I love all of these. They are interconnected standalone. With each bringing their own adventures. Another win for the author and another fun, cozy mystery. Quick read.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy from the Author. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

Puzzles and Premieres by Elizabeth Pantley is the latest book that features a film festival in a snowy mountain town. Sounds heavenly.

Will the Book Club solve this new mystery without getting in trouble?

The Book Club
Paige is still figuring out the new ways to deal with the book club without her aunt Glo to help out. Including when they are in a mystery that deals with snow, and who should drive the van that comes with the inn, if they need to use it to get around. She is doing a great job of keeping the group focused on the mystery. Atticus isn’t that hard to do that with since he’s usually the one who loves to focus on the mystery to figure out why they are there and the clues. The others are harder to keep on track, especially when Zell and Frank get them wanting to do something different.

Those two troublemakers usually are the cause of my laughing fits while I’m reading the book. However, I love all the book club members.

The Mystery
Ms. Pantley has the book club this time going to the snowy mountain town of Jigsaw Valley to solve a mystery around a film festival. The mystery this time was a challenging one to figure out when it actually started, but it was still an excellent one. I figured out who did it, but not the reason why. The whole reason for it wasn’t that smart, but that’s usually how the culprit usually gets caught. I do have to hand it to Ms. Pantley for making me pay attention, though, to triple-check that I actually got it right this time around.

Five Stars
My rating for Puzzles and Premieres by Elizabeth Pantley is five stars, and I highly recommend it. Ms. Pantley is a great author, and I love every new installment of this series. I loved this one, and especially reading the new romance between Atticus and Paige.

Another character I love seeing is Bob from the Destiny Falls Mystery and Magic series. I was wondering, Ms. Pantley, will we be seeing a new book in this series soon?

Thank you for dropping by! I hope you enjoyed this review of Puzzles and Premieres by Elizabeth Pantley.

Until the next time,

Karen Signature

Happy Reading!

PUZZLES AND PREMIERES by Elizabeth Pantley
The Tenth Magical Mystery Book Club Mystery

After a fun time making a snowman with snow swirling around them and members of the Magical Mystery Book Club are ready to choose a book to dive into for their next adventure. After everyone picked a few possibilities they're surprised to see Bob, the olm and Snapdragon Inn librarian, waiting for them. Following his suggestion they choose a cozy mystery set in a ski town that's hosting a film festival and are soon snuggled up in stylish snow gear with the Snapdragon Inn transformed into a chalet. Bob has provided them with treats, movie tickets, and most importantly jigsaw puzzles which provide clues. Soon the gang are meeting up with movie starts, publicists, and even a ghost from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Between enjoying the excitement of film premieres and eating plenty of snacks the crew will have to figure out what exactly the mystery is and how to solve it in order to get to The End!

It's always fun getting together with the Magical Mystery Club gang. From down to earth Paige to the outlandish Zell, talking cat, Frank, Mollie the ghost, and everyone else, the group has an exuberant dynamic and work together well. While they meet and interact with a lot of characters, PUZZLES AND PREMIERES also has them meet another ghost, Gloria. Were they there to solve her "accidental" death? Or will their mystery have something to do with the surprise announcement at the big premiere? As they complete jigsaw puzzles, the solutions send them to various locations around Jigsaw Valley where they work their magic to solve the mystery.

There wasn't as much emphasis on food in this tenth Magical Mystery Book Club Mystery and I found I sort of missed it. Some of the characters seemed more subdued and Moonglow was even a bit prickly! It's interesting to see a possible romance bloom and I loved how Mollie was able to share her ghostly knowledge with Gloria. All of the insider information about film festivals was fascinating and I enjoyed seeing everyone join in the fun of the festival as well as the investigation. After the mystery came to its conclusion there was a major surprise. While similar things have happened in the past the characters had extraordinarily good reasons for their choice, this one seemed much more arbitrary. Still, I enjoyed the book.

Grab your popcorn and dim the lights. Jigsaw puzzles, ghosts, and the excitement of a film festival make PUZZLES AND PREMIERES a fun mystery no matter the season!

Puzzles and Premiers by Elizabeth Pantley is the 10th book in her Magical Mystery Book Club series. Refresher: The magical library consists of 8 members, who choose a book, and they are transported into the story, with cozy mysteries that they have to solve. This is a fun, enjoyable, lighthearted series, with wonderful characters and a magical cozy mystery.

Paige and the club decide to travel to a fantastical film festival on a mountain setting in the beautiful town of Jigsaw Valley. The town is geared up for film festivals, rubbing shoulders with the rich & famous, meeting a friendly ghost, finding help from puzzles and missing pieces. It is winter, and they wear fancy ski clothes and dressier fashion at other main events; but they know that they are there to solve a mystery. Everything changes when an actress goes missing after one of the parties. The club works together to find the missing actress, which they do discover her dead on the mountain.

The group is always fun, with lots of humor throughout, as all of them are fantastic characters. I loved that Paige is now the leader, and of course we adore Frank (talking cat), who is always wonderful. They run into another female ghost, who lives in Jigsaw Valley, with no one able to see her; of course; the members of the club can see her. Mollie, our resident ghost, will help Gloria learn how to use her unseen ability. There were a few surprises along the way, which changes a few things at the end.

What follows is a another terrific, enchanting and fun addition to this series, which has all the members trying to find clues, that would find the real the killer. The club members are all riveting and fun. It’s a must read for fans of all ages who enjoy all kinds of various Mysteries.

Once again, Elizabeth Pantley gives us another wonderful story. I really enjoy this series, as it is so very entertaining. All the characters in the Magical Mystery Book Club are very good, with Paige leading the way. Puzzles and Premiers was a wonderful lighthearted fun magical mystery, which was very well written by Elizabeth Pantley. I look forward to the next book.

Puzzles and Premieres is the tenth book in the Magical Mystery Book Club series written by Elizabeth Pantley so I'm not going to take the time to explain the club and the characters. Pantley provides that before you begin Chapter 1. And seeing as this is the tenth book I am hoping you are like me and know all about the club, the characters and their previous adventures. If not. and this the first book you are reading in this series, that's fine. But don't be surprised if you fall in love and want to go back and read the others.

Okay ...... In Puzzles andd Premieres the group with their friendly library Olm choose the next book to venture into and the magical library whisks them into the book. They find themselves in a winter wonderland at a ski resort that is hosting a film festival. The Snapdragon Inn, as always, is transformed to fit into the story.

The name of the town is Jigsaw Valley and the group finds that in order to know what to focus on, they have to solve a jigsaw puzzle that magically appears. Unfortunately with every puzzle they work on, they find that some pieces are missing and have to go to the place that the puzzle reveals and they will find the pieces there. The first puzzle takes the group to a vintage clothing shop where they come across Gloria ... who happens to be a ghost who they can see and talk to and Mollie is overjoyed !!

At first the group believes they are there to look into Gloria's death but when another puzzle leads them to a cabin they find an up and coming actress dead in the snow .....

The group with the additional of Gloria works well together and can investigate a number of things as they split up into groups. And boy is this one a HOOT !!! It's amazing how this group can get anything done with all the different personalities but they do !!

I would love to dissect Pantley's brain to see how she comes up with these storylines and keeps the series exciting and the readers on their toes. The Magical Mystery Book Club series is one of my favorite series with so much to love. Anytime I can open one of these books, I know that I will be in for an exciting adventure !!!

Another wonderful story in this amazing series! The author has brought these characters alive right before our eyes. This story had a different twist when it came to solving the murder that the group was there to solve.
The club is off to Jigsaw Valley, Colorado for a film festival mystery. And what a great way to have to help solve a murder but with jigsaw puzzles. While there they meet some colorful characters that seem just right at a film festival. You know the types: Hollywood starts, Hollywood star wannabees, paparazzi, support staff, and the like.
With the help of jigsaw puzzles they find clues to the mystery that will help with their detecting. Oh and they find a resident ghost. Who of course is shocked and thrilled to find others that can see and hear her after all this time.
If you want to know more about how the jigsaw puzzle pieces fit together with the resident ghost and the mystery you'll have to read the story. It's a standalone with no cliffhanger ending and no need to have read the prior stories. But I strongly recommend you read the others as they too are wonderful.
One more thing. I loved the fact that in the beginning of the story Bob the olm mentions a place called Destiny Falls. That is another great series by Elizabeth Pantley and worth reading. However, that is best to have been read in order so you know the main characters and how they fit together. Each book is pretty much a standalone but there are overarching storylines. It would be great in between reading until the next Magical Mystery Book Club story is released!

Elizabeth Pantley has done it again! Puzzles and Premieres captures all the charm, humor, and heart that readers have come to expect from the Magical Mystery Book Club series. This time, the club is swept into a glitzy film-festival setting that’s equal parts Hollywood dazzle and small-town charm.

The magic system—jumping into the story and solving mysteries to return—is still as delightful as ever. I especially loved the enchanted puzzles in this one. What a creative and cozy way to build suspense!

Learn more about the author and book series on my website: Gina Rae Mitchell

The club members feel like old familiar friends at this point—each with their quirks, but all completely endearing. Their conversations feel natural, and the way they tackle each mystery together keeps the story moving with heart and humor. I love the balance between cozy mystery fun and just enough magic to keep things interesting, without ever venturing into overly paranormal territory, aside from the traveling library and the talking cat.

If you like your mysteries light, a little magical, and filled with good company, this is a great one to curl up with for a weekend read.

Unless otherwise noted, the book is from my personal library or Kindle Unlimited.

Elizabeth Pantley’s Puzzles and Premieres is a sparkling addition to the Magical Mystery Book Club series a cozy, clever, and delightfully inventive adventure where sleuthing, storytelling, and magic intertwine.

This time, the book club finds themselves swept into a glamorous mountaintop ski town, right in the middle of a world-famous film festival. Glitz, movie premieres, and fancy dining set the stage for mystery when a beloved actress suddenly vanishes. With enchanted jigsaw puzzles providing the strangest yet most ingenious clues, the club must piece together the truth literally before they can escape the story and return home.

Pantley once again blends humor, suspense, and a touch of enchantment in a way that feels both fresh and comforting. Readers will delight in the camaraderie of the quirky cast, laugh at their witty banter, and savor the vivid setting that brings the festival atmosphere to life. The mystery itself is as fun as it is puzzling, perfectly balanced with cozy charm and page-turning intrigue.

Playful, engaging, and wholly addictive, Puzzles and Premieres proves why this series continues to enchant fans who simply can’t stop at just one. Pantley has crafted yet another winner that reminds us why cozy mysteries can be as magical as they are mysterious.

Don’t miss this book! You won’t be able to put it down until you finish the very last page!

It’s a wild and wonderful journey! I was swept away out of my daily life, along with the book club. It was just the respite I needed, and so much enjoyed!

The club travels to a fantastical film festival, set in the beautiful mountain town of Jigsaw Valley, where they meet a new friend, enjoy many adventures, and ultimately find a solution to their mystery, to allow them to return home from the book.

When Elizabeth Pantley describes characters, places, and events, I absolutely become part of the action, hanging out right there with Paige, kitty king Frank, and the rest of the book club, living their experiences right alongside them. Everything is brand new and different from their previous adventures - certainly makes me ponder that there is an absolutely magical aspect joining Elizabeth Pantley as she is writing!

I could not pull myself away and spent every waking moment (and some when I might usually be sleeping), reading voraciously to find out the answer to the mystery and reach the end… and it was worth every single second!

Grab this book as soon as you can! If it’s your first book, read the rest of the series immediately for more joy and adventure.

Another fun journey for our book club crew.

In this book 10, our book club travels to a film festival. The author, in real life, recently attended a film festival, so was able to give us behind the scenes knowledge of what really goes on. In the book, it's winter and everyone gets to wear their apres-ski fancy clothes around town and even dressier fashion choices to other events. I love the descriptions of the scenery and the town, the author is very detailed and everything is so breathtaking. The characters they meet in the town are human... which makes this book a bit different from the other books in the series. But everyone is okay with a talking cat. :)

The most fun is when Frank and Zell pull their shenanigans and are able to sneak the group in to supposedly inaccessible places.

Bottom line, this is so much fun and definitely a must read in the book club journey.

Note: The author states that these books can be read in any order, however, I strongly recommend reading all of the books in order. There are just too many inside jokes and references that you don't want to miss.

Disclosure: We received a free digital ARC of this book. No guarantee of a review or other compensation was made.

Puzzles and Premieres is the 10th book in the Magical Mystery Book Club Series by Elizabeth Pantley. The amateur sleuth is Paige Erickson. She is assisted by the other members of the Magical Mystery Book Club.

In Puzzles and Premieres, the book club is pulled into a story set in Jigsaw Valley. They travel to a chalet on a mountaintop, attend a film festival, and hobnob with film folks. They must solve a mystery to get out of the book and get back home.

Puzzles and Premieres is a really fun cozy mystery. It includes a fantastical setting, lots of fun facts about puzzles and film festivals, and a unique new character in the form of a ghost.

The mystery is also very unique. The sleuths must put together enchanted jigsaw puzzles to get the clues they need to solve the mystery.

When they're not sleuthing, the characters are shopping, skiing, eating delicious dinners and snacks, and interacting with each other in fun ways.

The characters in the book are all very different from one another, which makes their interactions fun and interesting.

The writing is really good. Elizabeth Pantley is a very creative storyteller and does an excellent job with the storytelling.

Thanks to the publisher for the advanced reader copy!

I think I say this in every review for this series, but I love these books! To me, it is a unique concept for a paranormal cozy, yet it is fun and lighthearted.

The gang from Snapdragon Inn has chosen their next book to enter on the advice of Bob the Olm. I appreciate that the author occasionally crosses over her two series. Nothing big, just mentions of Destiny Falls in this series.

In this adventure, they are in a small snowy town for a film festival. One of the first characters they meet is another ghost. How fun for Mollie to have someone like her to interact with. It does take some time before the mystery is revealed, but until then, this band of friends solves puzzles to lead them to the next clue. And by puzzles, I mean literal puzzles! After all, this mountain town is located in Jigsaw Valley.

I love following along and trying to decipher the clues to solve the mystery before the book club. Sometimes I am successful, most of the time not. I chuckle a lot throughout these books, from Frank's antics to the copious amounts of food they consume in each novel.

If you haven't read any of this series, I highly recommend starting with the first book. While each book can be read on its own, it makes more sense to follow the lives of the book club characters to gain a deeper understanding of them.

We give this book 5 paws up.

Puzzles and Premieres is the tenth cozy mystery in the Magical Mystery Book Club series. This time the book club travels into a cozy mystery set in a ski lodge mountain town during a film festival. Along the way they meet a ghost who was a starlet during the early 1930s who helps them solve the case along the way. When a current up and coming actress is found murdered the book club must put the pieces together before it’s too late so they can return home.

I absolutely love this series and this was one of my favorite books in it so far. I loved the setting and Gloria, the movie star ghost from the 30s, was a great addition to the cast. This is such a great character driven mystery series and I love every minute of it. I was hooked from the beginning and didn’t want to put this one down as I followed the twists and turns along the way. I really love this series and how different every book is. With the core set of main characters it doesn’t matter how much the setting or mysteries change, it still feels like coming home every time I open a new book. This is a great series and I loved this book so much. I can’t wait to see what’s in store next for the book club.

If I could jump into this book myself, I would—though I’d probably leave the ghost-chasing and crime-solving to the pros (aka, our favorite book club gang)!

“Puzzles and Premieres” is everything I hoped for and more from Book 10 of the Magical Mystery Book Club series. This time, the club is transported to a glamorous mountaintop town during a film festival, where the red carpet sparkles and the mystery gets chilling. When a movie star vanishes, the club must unravel the case—one enchanted puzzle piece at a time. Yes, puzzles. Magical ones. That drop clues. It’s brilliant.

I laughed (thanks, Frank and Zell), gasped (those twists!), and couldn’t stop turning the pages. The setting was vivid and fun—I could practically feel the cold mountain air and see the glittering festival lights. The film festival details added a behind-the-scenes flair I loved, and the mix of new characters with our beloved crew kept things lively.

Thank you to the author for providing the digital review copy. All opinions are my own.

The Magical Mystery Book Club is at it again, off on a new and thrilling adventure inside of a cozy mystery story. This book journey feels more like the group's home in Colorado, yet completely different at the same time. This comedic combination of characters go on a scavenger hunt like no other. There are twists and unexpected surprises throughout the story. Book 10 is a treat for the movie lover in all of us. It's a must read for fans of all ages who enjoy Cozy Mysteries, Supernatural Mysteries, Paranormal Mysteries and Fantasy Fiction. Like every book in The Magical Mystery Book Club Series, Puzzles and Premieres reads perfectly well as a standalone story even though it's book ten in the series. If you haven't read the other books yet, I can guarantee you'll want to after you read this story. I'm sure that you are going to love these amazing, quirky, hilarious and fun loving family of characters just as much as I do.

The Magical mystery book club are at it again with their eclectic group including a talking cat and ghost, they are into their next book adventure. This time they are in Jigsaw Valley at a film festival similar to the ones they have at the Sundance Film Festival. Enjoying this new adventure, they have to find what they have to fix so they can get out of the book. It seems they are to solve the murder of an up-and-coming actress. Finding clues takes them to having to solve puzzle pieces to find what direction to take. With some humor and investigating, we are taken to an ending that had you keep guessing along the way. This is the 10th book in the Magical Mystery Book Series and as with the first nine, the themes are totally unique. Not only do I highly recommend this book but I recommend the entire series! It is so much fun and you become immersed in the mysteries. I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

With a surprise visit from a fellow literary traveler Bob, the group picks a book he has brought to the library. A book that involves puzzles and red carpet movie premieres. They solve the first puzzle, except for a section, a door belonging to an era clothing store. Donned in winter finery they head into town. After some enjoyable hijinks they make it to the store. There they find the missing pieces and meet up with a delightful actress who passed away in the 1930's during the filming.Molly is beside herself having another ghost to relate to. Our group now has to solve who and why poor Gloria was killed. Was it a true accident, lack of safety ot was her murder planned? The ways our sleuths have to get info is truly a puzzle. Again, Ms. Pantley weaves a page turning fun cozy mystery with original twists!

Puzzles and Premieres is book #10 in the Magical Mystery Book Club series by Elizabeth Pantley.

This is my dream book club. In this book club selection, they receive some guidance from a surprise visitor and end up going to a ski town during a film festival. I loved how puzzles played a role in this mystery. I thought it was funny how the characters had to keep reminding themselves that they were just in a book and that the characters were not real and then I realized that sometimes forget that it’s a book and the characters are not real. Another great mystery but the best part are the characters. They are so different and yet their love of books drew them together. The way they are always there for each other makes this a wonderful escape. The ending took me by surprise!

I received a free copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

This is the tenth book in this series; I’ve read and enjoyed all of the previous books, but this book can stand alone well. The author gives a good summary at the beginning of the book, explaining the magical book club concept, as members travel into a cozy mystery, unable to return home until the mystery is solved. This author has extraordinary imagination and in this book, the characters travel to a mountain town and attend a film festival similar to the real Sundance Film Festival. This book was especially fun for me, as it’s quite warm this summer in the US, so visiting a cool wintry location was quite intriguing. There’s a lot of humor, a good mystery and great writing. I can definitely recommend this book and series; I was provided an ARC, which I appreciate, but these opinions are my own.

A likable series all of the book club members as I’m supposed to be, but ved

I’ve read two or three end the mystery in their chosen book. I am not as charmed with other books in this series ( this is number ten), and I feel I have to go back and fill in the ones I missed, since there are new characters and allusions to other books that I haven’t read about before. Nice concept for a series — a magical library that transports members of the book club into the book they’ve chosen for each session. They can’t get back to their own time and place until they’ve identified and solved the mystery in their chosen book. I’m not as charmed by some of the characters as I’m supposed to be, but that’s OK, since the stories are interesting enough that I want to read more about the club.

I've enjoyed every book in this series so far, and this one is no exception! The book club members are a nice, diverse group, and it's always fun to see them working together to solve a mystery, and seeing what each person brings to the table.

This time, the group travels (through their book, literally) to a film festival. I enjoyed the descriptions of the mountain resort, the festival, and all the stars that were present. Of course there was a murder, and the club members have to solve it. Plenty of clues for the group to follow, and the mystery was great and fun to follow. As an added bonus, the club had to solve jigsaw puzzles to find some of the clues.

Another 5-star Magical Mystery Book Club story!

This is the tenth book in an exciting series by Elizabeth Pantley revolving
around a magical book club .
Paige and the gang attend a film festival and rub elbows with movie elite in a snowy mountain town.
It seems it is not all glitz and glamour .
Murder raises its head.
Puzzles and Premieres was a book that was intriguing to the end.The characters are riveting and the storyline was a fun read.
This is a standalone but it is advised to read all the previous books in the series to get to know all of the characters and enjoy their exploits.
Wished all these exciting places existed so I can go visit!
Looking forward to more adventures from my favorite author.

“Books provide us with a unique method of seeing the world.”

“To read is to voyage through time”

“Books and doors are the same thing. You open them and you can go through into another world.”

I loved this book and this series! Always caught up in a new adventure, journey and some magic.
The book club travels to a film festival in a ski town. They meet a ghost, a long dead film star. Puzzles to be solved and these are not your everyday puzzle pieces. They all need to work together to solve this mystery.
I loved the description of the town, scenery and could picture everyone dressed in ski clothes.
I was captivated as I was right there with the book club on this adventure.

I received an ARC prior to publication and decided to voluntarily review it.
