She wanted a quiet place to put her life back together. He was looking for inspiration. What they found was each other.
Daphne I just left my narcissistic ass-hat of a boyfriend and decide to take myself on a basic bitch's dream vacation to clear my head. Imagine my surprise when I arrive at my vacation rental to find it’s been double booked. The other occupant? Nathan— A charming, infuriatingly attractive, bestselling romance author with his own emotional baggage and a tendency to strut around in nothing but gray sweatpants.
Nathan After my fiancé cheated and I broke off our engagement, I needed space. Hoping to find inspiration for my next novel, I head out of town, but when Daphne comes crashing into my life, things take a rather abrupt turn. She’s beautiful, funny, and kind. She’s the last thing I expected but may end up being exactly what I need.

This is a Romance, and this is the first book in the Seasons of Love series. I love the characters in this book, and I got totally pulled into their story. There were a good number of steamy times in this book. I could feel the connection between the two main characters as for each other. I really loved the ending. There was drama, some cute moments, and a little action. I enjoyed reading this book. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
This is my arc review for Falling Too Soon @michelewritesromance Absolutely loved this cute romance with a pinch of spice and coziness I couldn't get enough for a debut book in seasons of love the banter was chefs kiss the characters had an instant connection and chemistry! Pf course theirs drama , spice and laughter ! Couldn't stop reading ! Perfect for the fall season 🎃 loved it & well deserved 5 star read thanks @theauthor.agency and the authors for trusting me to read your book with an honest review !
Thank you to the author for the free ARC via BookSirens! I’m leaving this review voluntarily.
If this was a debut novel, it certainly didn’t read like one. This was a great read. Probably 4.5 but rounding up to 5.
Once they both got to the cabin, things happened quickly. No slow burn here. The people were hot, the attraction was instant, and the spice was plentiful (but, dare I say, too much oral?). I also liked that while they were both into each other, he was the one who wanted it to be more and spent time trying to convince her.
There were a lot of phrases we see in every romance book (“tell me to stop,” “so wet for me already,” “it was too much but not enough,” “such a good girl taking all of me,” and of course someone’s smile didn’t reach their eyes), but I’ve come to expect that at this point.
Nathan was into dirty talk and the Baby/Daddy nicknames, which make me cringe, but I’m sure others will like it since it was written well. I’m also still not convinced squirting isn’t just peeing, and this girl squirted every time (even from her own hand), so I found it hard to believe when she said she had never done it before. But, again, I think some readers will find that hot.
I loved that the author used her firsthand knowledge of nursing in this for Daphne. I’m not a nurse, so I like that it gave some real perspective on what it’s like, like when she said the hardest part wasn’t blood or dealing with death—it was seeing patients’ families going through it all. I’m sure that is a very real feeling for a lot of nurses. With that, I wish there was more about Nathan being an author (and I wanted their story to become Nathan’s next best seller!).
From a technical standpoint, this was well written and well edited.
The version I got didn’t have page numbers, which irked me, but I imagine it’s just the ARC with this issue.
I’m not sure if this is going to be a series, but I’d love to get stories about Lexi and Nathan’s brothers (and even his dad)!
As an aside, I’m so glad this was a completely apolitical novel. I feel like every book these days tries to include some sort of political pontification, and this had none. It was enjoyable without any agenda whatsoever, so thank you!
2 characters escaping toxic relationships find themselves in a forced proximity situation....things turn spicy real quick. there's great heat, banter, and a very swoony Nathan. definitely worth the read.
A big thank you to the author for providing the ARC 🧡
🌶🌶🌶🌶 TW: cheating, manipulation
Nathan and Daphne came out of bad relationships. His fianceé cheated on him and Daphne was living with a manipulating freak. They both end things and decide to go on a relax time in a wonderful cabin. The problem is that the cabin was double booked and they both end up there. Their atraction is immediate and they get involved in what seems to be a one night stand. Since Daphne has nowhere to stay and Nathan doesn't seem to want her to go, they decide to share the cabin.
This is a romance about woo moments, when you meet THE ONE and you know, you just know! Sometimes is not the right time but it feels right. It is also about relashionships and what could destroy them. Cheating is also a deal breaker for me as it was for Nathan. And a controlling and manipulating boyfriend like Marcus was is someone we definitely need to get away from because things can escalade fast.
Cute thing: Nathan's brothers reminded me of Beverly Hills 90210: Dylan and Brandon and I liked it very much 🥰
I'm very curious to know if Lexi, Brandon and Dylan will have their own books 📚
Also some comments to 4.5⭐️: I would put a little less smut. Ok, we get it, the atraction is extreme but no need to repeat, leave some things to the imagination. Also, the kiss just 1 minute after they meet is a little bit fast. Maybe give it a day or two and a situation where they look at each other differently and then bam! But kiss someone you just walked in...I don't know. I would also like to see more of Nathan's thoughts on his previous relation with Courtney, maybe some insecurity could appear with Daphne due to that. He's too perfect 😂

Falling Too Soon had me falling for it soon as well. I instantly loved Daphne and Nathan so much, they felt so real to me.
Nathan just broke up with the woman he thought he was going to marry (in just a few days) but she’s cheated and that goes against everything he believes in. He decides to use the Honeymoon he had planned to get away and clear his mind… that is until Daphne crashes (literally) into his peaceful stay.
Daphne is just getting out of a toxic relationship and wants time to herself to plan her next move. She wants to get away to a scenic town and recharge alone in peace…. Little did she plan on Nathan being there. After her peaceful vacation rental is double-booked, she wants to run but Nathan has a compromise.
Michelle did such a good job with this story, I loved all the little tropes in it, like Grey Sweatpants. Also, Nathan was exactly the right swoony MMC we needed in this story,
✨ What to Expect ✨ 💞 He Falls First 🔥 Insta-Lust 🏡 Forced Proximity 🌄 Vacation Romance 📝 He’s an Author 💉 She’s a Nurse 💋 One Night Stand to More 🛡️ Protective MMC 💔 Emotionally Unavailable FMC ⚡ Fast Burn
This book made me feel like I was drinking a pumpkin spice coffee. The coziness, the warmth, the spice😉… absolutely loved it!!
I know I wouldn’t mind being accidentally double booked at the most beautiful fall cabin on a lake, with the gorgeous Nathan. Daphne and Nathan are soul mates and I love how the author writes their romance. You can’t help but root for them. Their chemistry is top notch. The setting of this fall getaway is perfection. Love the little bit of drama and action too.
🍁forced proximity ☕️sooo much pining 🎃he falls first and he falls hard 🍁bro group- group chat ☕️both recovering post break ups 🎃he’s a romance author 🍁right guy, wrong time ☕️he makes her homemade chicken parm *swoons* 🎃protective mmc
I was gifted a copy of this book as part of BookSirens and I was not disappointed. This is one of the better books I’ve read recently and the first one I’ve read from BS so I’m off to a good start. Daphne and Nathan are both out of quite toxic relationships (definitely dodged a bullet) and they both decide to escape to a log cabin for some R&R and thinking. Daphne ends up in the same cabin as Nathan, after it was double booked, and this is their story. With lots of spice from the get go, Daphne and Nathan are drawn to each other on a whole ‘nother level. And who wouldn’t want a romance novel writer to be their happy ending? 😉

This is an amazing romance. Full of laughter, emotional roll coasters, and spice. Whew the spice is out of this world! The chemistry is unmatched! The banter is awesome! And the way he pays attention to her moods and everything she likes or doesn’t it every girls dream!
Falling Too Soon by Michele Elizabeth was such a lovely surprise. This was a quick, feel-good read with a dual POV that I really enjoyed. Both Nathan and Daphne are emerging from toxic relationships when fate crosses their paths and from there, it’s a whirlwind of healing, vulnerability, and unexpectedly falling in love.
Their relationship develops quickly, but it feels genuine thanks to the emotional connection and close proximity. Nathan is such a standout guy who’s gentle, patient, and exactly what Daphne needs to believe in love again. I really appreciated how the story handled emotional abuse with sensitivity, especially with Daphne’s ex, whose controlling and stalkerish behaviour is finally confronted head-on.
It’s romantic, satisfying, and ends with a well-earned happily ever after. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, empowering, and easy to devour in a single sitting… this one’s for you!

HOLY CHEMISTRY! 🔥🔥 Falling Too Soon is the hilarious & steamy rom-com you didn't know was missing from your life. Grabbing me from the very first page, you'd never believe this emotional roller coaster is a DEBUT! Daphne and Nathan are both such compelling characters. From their adorable meet cute to the way they heal each other, their story is unforgettable. Not to mention - the spice is spicy!!
Daphne is running from a toxic past, and Nathan just ran out on his own wedding. When fate (and a double-booked vacation rental) throws these two wounded souls together, the tension is instant, undeniable, and utterly captivating.
Nathan is the ultimate protective “cinnamon roll” hero with just the right amount of sexy charm. Seriously, you will fall hard for this swoonworthy book boyfriend! Watching Daphne realize her own strength and worth while navigating their explosive, witty banter and volcanic chemistry was everything. The spice is phenomenal, and the emotional payoff is HUGE.
This book is the perfect mix of drama, heart, and non-stop laughter. While it makes for a perfect seasonal read, you can pick it up any time of the year and enjoy! I can't wait for the second book in the series!
What a fantastic debut! Michele Elizabeth delivers a sweet, fun, and spicy fall romance that’s the perfect way to wrap up summer.
Daphne and Nathan’s story is total insta-love, and it works so well here. From the moment they meet, their banter flows effortlessly, the sparks fly instantly, and things turn deliciously spicy really fast. The chemistry between them is undeniable, and the balance of playful moments, heat, and heartfelt connection makes this such an addictive read.
For a debut, the pacing is spot-on, the romance feels fresh, and the happily ever after leaves you with a big smile. It’s quick, easy to read, and the perfect cozy-meets-steamy romance to devour in a single sitting.
Highly recommend Falling Too Soon if you’re in the mood for insta-love with fire, heart, and all the autumn vibes. 🍂✨
This story of Nathan and Daphne gives off the Hallmark movie feels of a chance encounter for strangers due double booking issue. Both Nathan and Daphne are seeking refuge in a solo trip after exiting bad relationships and just need time. However, fate has other things in store. Now what Hallmark doesn't have is the ALL THE SPICE this book does.
I love the instant connection between Nathan and Daphne. He is exactly what she needs but because of the trauma she has endured she second guesses all of it.
This book has A LOT of spice to it, but there is a really got story within it. And don't worry, no slow burns here.
This is the first in a new series, and this is Daphne and Nathans’s story. Daphne is a nurse who craves solitude to get her life back in order, while Nathan is a bestselling romance author, who is looking for inspiration. Both is these characters have emotional baggage, and they find out that their cabin reservation has been double booked. This is a well written easy to read story, which has friendships, emotions, betrayal, heartbreak, forced proximity, tension, humour, witty banter, palpable chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, and heartfelt, page turner. I look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend.
This book is HOT!!! Nathan and Daphne are both escaping toxic relationships of their own and plan their own getaways to a small lake town. However, they find themselves in a forced proximity situation...when the cabin each planned to stay in is double booked!!! Things turn real spicy very quickly. But they agree on being friends with benefits while staying at the cabin. The banter between the two of them is great!!! Definitely worth reading as it's a page turner!!
Falling Too Soon was such a good read. It has the perfect mix of a meet-cute, instant attraction, close proximity, and so much more.
Both Daphne and Nathan are coming out of terrible relationships and decide to take solo vacations to clear their heads—only to end up double-booked in the same cabin. Instant attraction can sometimes feel forced, but the author handled it so beautifully here.
I love how Daphne gradually accepted her feelings for Nathan, and Nathan was utterly finished for her. The side characters added just the right touch without overshadowing the main story.
It’s a solid 4-star read for me, and I definitely recommend it.
Falling Too Soon follows Nathan and Daphne, who meet by chance after both experiencing tough breakups. Their instant connection sets the stage for a story full of chemistry.
I really enjoyed the spice in this book. It definitely delivered on that front! That said, I found myself needing more plot development and richer backstories to give the characters greater depth.
Overall, if you’re in the mood for a quick, steamy read that focuses on chemistry above all else, this one will be your cup of tea.
I received an advanced review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
dare i say the best fast burn i’ve read in a long long longgggg time?!?! i adored the characters, nathan and daphne, i LOVED the setting of the book (sucker for fall themed ANYTHING over here), and the plot was my favorite of all. the situations both characters were in and could bond over those situations was an awesome touch to the plot. the side characters played a special part to me in the book because of many comical moments. the spice was the perfect amount and the book as a whole is very well written. i would read this 100 times over. 1000/10!!!
I LOVE THIS STORY SO MUCH 🤩 I originally read this in May as a Beta Reader, and just finished my ARC read-through… I loved it JUST AS MUCH.
We’ve got witty banter and LOT’S OF GREY SWEATPANTS 😏👏🏽 If you’re looking for a fun contemporary romance FULL OF SPICE (pumpkin and otherwise) PLUS relationship trauma healing >>> you MUST pick this up 🫶🏼
I IMMEDIATELY BEGGED michele for book two 🤣

This story grabs you right from the start! Daphne and Nathan are on fire! Daphne is a nurse trying to pick up the pieces of her life after escaping a toxic relationship. What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation soon turns into a mini disaster when she discovers her rental has been double-booked. Nathan, meanwhile, is running from what should have been his wedding to his ex-fiancée, only to find out his new vacation roommate is a gorgeous nurse who’s about to turn his life upside down in the best way possible.
Daphne is an incredible FMC. I love her strength and how she learns she deserves so much more than what she had. She realizes that sometimes life doesn’t go according to plan, but fate has a way of giving you exactly what you need. Nathan, on the other hand, is a total cinnamon roll MMC, with just the right amount of sexy charm. Trust me, green is going to become your new favorite color.
The banter, chemistry, and spice between these two is absolutely everything. Michele does a fantastic job of hooking you not only with the main characters but also with the side characters. Everyone needs a Lexi in their life! She was my absolute favorite!
This book is the perfect mix of drama, spice, and laughs, and it had me genuinely laughing out loud a few times. Once you pick it up, you won’t be able to put it down. I’m so invested in these characters now and can’t wait to see what happens next in the series. I can’t recommend this book enough!
Thank you so much to Michele for allowing me to beta and ARC read! All opinions and thoughts are my own.
I’m really happy that I was given the chance to read this book! It’s a romance story about two people who have been hurt in their previous relationships. I have to admit that you can feel the chemistry between the characters from the get-go. It’s a spicy story; however, I wish it had contained a bit less of it. It made me feel like their relationship was built only on this ground, even though there were some moments when they spent time getting to know each other. All in all, it was a quick and interesting read.
I’m waiting for the next book. Yes, Lexi, I’m super excited about your story 🤣
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I was a little frustrated with the start. I seemed a bit like insta lust, not deeper connections. I think maybe it might of helped for there to be some sort of connection before the first meeting.
However, I liked that it didn’t end where a few others have with all of those initial feelings.
I felt more invested in them coming towards the end of the stay at the cabin. I enjoy the story much more after this point and felt it was more in keeping with the progression needed for the story and the relationship.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
"Falling Too Soon" is the first book in the new series, "Season of Love." This author was new to me, and I absolutely enjoyed Nathan and Daphne's love story! I was hooked from the very beginning and found myself at the end of the book way too fast, wishing for more of Nathan and Daphne.
I love that Nathan is the romance author, while Daphne is not; she is a badass nurse who desperately needs a vacation after finally getting out of a very toxic relationship. Their meet-cute is adorable when they discover that the cabin they booked was accidentally double-booked. It’s clear that both Nathan and Daphne are attracted to each other and feel a deeper connection from the start. The more they spend time together, the more they realize how much they have in common. However, Daphne hesitates, thinking they are moving too fast since they both just recently ended long-term relationships with other people only a few days prior. She feels she needs more time.
Nathan is willing to give her all the time she needs, but not too much time. The character and world development are well-written. I loved Seth and his brothers; their family support and banter were great. Additionally, Daphne’s best friend Lexi is a wonderful presence—every girl needs a friend like her for support. The spice in the story was just perfect throughout the book, and the drama involving their exes was the right amount to keep things engaging. I hope to see more of his brothers and Lexi in future books!
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Well this was beyond unexpected! I could not stop reading from beginning to the end. You kind of get hooked right out the gate with Daphne and Nathan. They both come from non-healthy relationships. They sure take you on a roller coaster of a ride and it does not back down. Michele Elizabeth did exceptionally with this Rom-Com.
The FMC, Daphne, is a young lady who comes from a toxic relationship. She finally has enough courage to call it quits with her narcissistic boyfriend so she can find herself and be happy. Little did she know that a much needed getaway to escape her reality would be more than she expected! All her past troubles make her second guess her life steps until she figures out what she truly wants.
The MMC, Nathan, comes from a relationship where he was suppose to get married; then he realized his fiancé cheated on him. Not wanting to settle, he lets her go because he knows what he wants in life. After taking his honeymoon vacation alone he is faced with Daphne entering his life. The attraction and chemistry these two individuals have when they are together is undeniable.
I don’t want to give too much away but he does fall first and he cannot picture himself without Daphne. Make sure you go read this book to find out all the dilemmas they are faced with. This book is also spicy from the get go. We all know that we like a spicy book! Excellent job Michele Elizabeth. I hope your novel debut is amazing because you deserve it!
It gave everything you love in a seasonal movie.. but kicked up a knotch (or 3) with some delicious spice.
🍁 silly meet cute 🧡 instant chemistry/fast burn 🍁 he falls first 🧡 forced proximity 🍁 cinnamon roll MMC 🧡 good girl
Both Daphne and Nathan just ended long-term relationships but while Nathan is ready to move on Daphne needs time to get her mind right. The tensions are high and the heat is all the way up! Even while reading, my brain was thinking "slow down yall" but then Nathan would do something SOO cute and I was instantly swooning again. so I get it girl! This book does progress quickly, but if a book is going to be an insta-love trope, I need the mmc to commit to the plunge. Nathan is THAT mmc. Adorable, sexy AF, dedicated.. complete green flag! It became so easy to get lost with these characters.
The side characters were definitely needed because Nathan and Daphne were a little too easy going at times. So the brothers and best friend conversations brought some bite that the book needed. Lexi, Dylan and Brandon were so funny and super interesting.
This was the first book in the series and definitely built my interest in the other relationships to come!
thank you Michelle Elizabeth and Booksirens for the free ARC. it was an absolute pleasure reading!
Ok, the way I loved this story is criminal! I read the whole thing, cover to cover in one sitting and am already dying for the next installment of these characters. I could not put this book down.
Falling Too Soon is the perfect autumn read! The story draws you in and the characters were the kind of relatable you find yourself wanting to be friends with. It was fun, it was oh so spicy and the plot hit just right! Were there some far fetched moments between the two main characters? Absolutely, there was BUT that’s honestly something to gravitate towards in a romance novel. I ate it all up and would happily take more!
I loved the relationships between the main characters and the side characters. The writing was so well done that I felt those connections through the words. The pacing throughout the book was perfect and none of it felt rushed; despite the title hinting at that very thing. It just flowed the way you want a story to flow. It was effortless. This was honestly such a refreshing read for me. I will most definitely be on the lookout for future books in this series!
Thank you to The Author Agency and Michele Elizabeth for the free ebook and the opportunity to review this book in its ARC form.
I received a digital copy ARC of this book to read and review.
Falling Too Soon is a debut novel for Michele Elizabeth and holy moly does it read like a seasoned author wrote it. I really enjoyed this book and inhaled it over the course of 3 days! The story had a good pace and there was soooooo much spice and it smacks you in the face right at the start. I typically am not a huge fan of "insta love" because in what world, especially considering they were both previously in a relationship as of days ago at the point they check in to the cabin, but the depiction of the internal struggle for both parties definitely helped. I loved that there was dual POV so that you can see the story from a fully rounded experience and we are not forced to trust an unreliable narrator. I really liked Daphne and Nathan and all their friends and family. I honestly can't wait for book 2 to follow up with Lexi and Nathan's brother later this year. 10/10 would recommend this book!
-Forced Proximity -Protective MMC -Autumn vibe -He falls first -Insta lust -Emotionally unavailable FMC -HEA -Fast Burn -Cinnamon roll MMC -One night stand turns into more -Pining hero -Nurse FMC -Author MMC -Double booked vacation rental
This books kicks off the spice right from the start and oh boy, it's hot. Having said that, there is more to this story than just spice. Each of our MC's have a lot going on.
Our FMC, Daphne, has just come out of an unhealthy long term relationship. She needs to get away, have some alone time to work out where her life is heading. Meanwhile our MMC, Nathan, has just ended his relationship days before his wedding. He's a little worried that all he's feeling is relief.
A double booked cabin brings these two together. Their chemistry is off the charts. Watching these two trying to figure out if it's too soon to start a relationship keeps you hooked. I loved this book and both of these characters were a joy. The humour between them bubbles along as do their emotions. Along the way, you get to meet Daphne's best friend Lexi as well as Nathan's brothers, Brandon & Dylan. They all bring much needed support and harsh humour to our MCs. And Nathan's dad is a breath of fresh air.
I am certainly looking forward to more books from this world. Make sure you pick up this book on September 3rd
