In the Mood for Love gives us 7 sizzling erotic short stories by Harper Bliss, narrated by Melissa Moran. Wow, do these two go well together! Super sexy scenarios as only Bliss can put to paper. Melissa Moran added a whole new dimension to the mix. Most stories (with the exception of A Higher Education, Learning Curve and The Honeymoon) I’ve read before, sometimes more than once. A highly enjoyable experience!

HOLY MOTHER OF.... I've read lesfic for decades and have enjoyed my share of erotica. I will say that Harper Bliss - in addition to being a fabulous writer in general - is the undisputed queen of writing deliciously hot sex. I mean, seriously. Melissa Moran narrates the audiobook and did really, *gulp* really well with it. For purists, the characters in most of these novelettes are English and Moran has an American accent. It didn't take away from the overall appeal of the listen and the only story that felt like it could have really benefited more from accents was Learning Curve, set in Germany. Most of the accents in that story would have been in German and one, English. That being said, I LOVED this audiobook and can wholeheartedly recommend it. Many tropes are covered in this collection - age gap, threesomes, second chance, workplace, teacher-student (between grown women) and all are sexy AF. If you like lesbian erotica, look no further.

These stories are all told in first person and from one point-of-view. They are all also extremely erotic.
I STILL REMEMBER – 4.5 Stars
A wonderful story of love lost and found again. Just the right amount of backstory was given to allow me to connect with these two ladies. The massage scene was scorching hot, it had my blood pumping, and girlie bits tingling!
A HIGHER EDUCATION - 4.5 Stars
Imagine having a crush on your teacher then twenty years later, while attending a conference, you find yourself sharing a room with her due to a series of events out of your control. That is exactly the situation Gail finds herself in with her former crush, Professor Joanne. I have one word to sum up this story – Brilliant.
A HARD DAY’S WORK – 4 Stars
Hot damn, I’ll never think of a performance review in the same way again. Wipes brow.
YOUNGER THAN YESTERDAY – 4 Stars
I’m a sucker for a story featuring an older woman/younger woman. However, initially I wasn’t sure if I was going to enjoy it due to how the two knew each other. But the power dynamics the author spun on it made this another sexy story.
LEARNING CURVE – 3.5 Stars
A thirty-year-old woman with a crush on her German tutor makes for another delicious story. I liked both of these ladies and the Berlin setting.
THE HONEYMOON - 3.5 stars
Once I got over the fact the leading ladies were on their honeymoon and my preconceived ideas of how that should be spent, two people celebrating their love, alone – this was one hell of a hot ménage story.
PIANO LESSONS – 4.5 stars
While this story was short, it lacked nothing. The story sucked me in right from the start. I liked the older women, younger girl scenario. If this is the best way to limber up your fingers for piano lessons sign me up!

The title is so perfect for this group of stories. I needed a cold shower after every one. Wow these were some hot couplings. I expect nothing less from Harper Bliss. Melissa was get narrating this audiobook.

SO excellently written and described these are timeless classics that you will never forget. There are so many different moods and settings contained within the pages of this lovely anthology. Lust, love, romance, excitement, drama, tears and joy and angst… Lost loves and new, cougars and teachers, smut and sex, sultry and sweet… This is a wonderful, wonderful book! DO NOT pass this one up!!

3.5 stars. Audiobook was good, voice actor did a good job. There was some wording that just wasn’t for me 😂 but might work for others. 7 short and smutty novellas. All very different, sapphic. Age gaps, teacher/students and couple threesomes.

In the Mood for Love by Harper Bliss is a collection of seven excellent short stories. Every novelette in this collection is so incredibly sensual, sexy and well written it’s hard to tell which one to call hot, hotter or hottest.
All the stories in this book have been previously published as standalones titles and have received four and five star reviews. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading every one of them.

These 7 short stories are all unique in their own way and brilliantly written, from fucking an old professor to fucking your friend's daughter to a threesome on a honeymoon each story is packed with enough smut to keep anyone satisfied. 😏
I thoroughly enjoyed all the stories, I can't pick a favourite as when you finish one the next is just as great as the one before, I can honestly say this is a great collection of novellas and highly recommend 🥵
The narration was great, Melissa was very entertaining. It's nice that we have narrators that are not afraid of the content in these books and Melissa is one of them.

My favorite one was the last one Piano Lesson. Ruby sees what true love and full commitment is. She said away what true mates are suppose to be like.

This book includes seven lovely F/F romance tales. Many are set in quite exciting locations. Harper Bliss is a very accomplished writer and you will definitely not be disappointed with this collection:)

I listened to the audiobook of this and didn’t realise it was a variety of short stories. I saw the title and thought it would be a nice easy romance and it was, however, it was a very spicy and smutty book and if that’s what you’re looking for, then great. I didn’t realise that when I selected the book, but it was an easy listen, so it was an ‘I liked it,’ 3 star read for me.
