Paris and Faraday are really fighting the clock in this story.
Jackson Zelle has set in motion a plot to render all Brides-to-be into a coma, so that they will die.
As Paris is also one, after Hemingway proposed, she gets infected by the spell that was created by Zelle's Magitech scientists, but Faraday, and Alicia, Paris' Aunt, are there, and are able to remove the spell, albeit causing Paris terrible pain.
But, despite this, Paris recovers enough, and starts another adventure with Faraday, as they gather what's needed to make things right for the countless Brides-to-be, caught up in that awful spell, around the world!
As usual, I loved this story, and the continuation of Paris' journey. I love that she is so deeply committed to protecting Love - with Saint Valentine being a big concern for her - and her relationships with family and friends are wonderful to read about.
Her continuing to push bad jokes and puns onto her friends and family, is funny in and of itself, but I think the funniest thing in this book, takes place in the Junk Yard - but you'll have to read this book to find out what happened! Lol
The only thing that makes me sad, is that I'm now going on to the final book of the series: Book Nine: The Violent Valentine.
With the wedding of Paris and Hemingway due to happen in this final book, I can't wait to read about it, especially with Faraday standing up as Paris' Maid of Honour - how cute will that be!
So, I'm off now to start reading it, and I'll see you on the flip side, to tell you all about it!
