Persephone's greed may be just the key to getting to Lily back. Tallis convinces Persephone to drink his blood, which coincidentally contains his Druid magic, in order for her to become immortal. That is how Lily is able to force Persephone out and regain control of her body. Lily just has to convince Alaire that she's still Persephone. Meanwhile, she needs to work on an escape plan.
The fight isn't going to be an easy one. Persephone is still in the corner of Lily's mind. The answer to getting rid of her for good comes with a great risk. Lily will have to let Alaire possess her with the spirit of Donnchadh, an ancient warrior. Donnchadh gives her much-needed strength, but will it be enough to help her escape Alaire's evil clutches?
Lily Harper is back, b*tches. I couldn't put REBIRTH down. It is, by far, the best book in the series. So much happens in this one. Lily is in a really dark place, being forced out of her body by the sadistic, trashy Persephone. As if that isn't enough punishment, she has to be a silent witness to all the terrible things Persephone's doing. Thank goodness for Tallis. He and her guardian angel, Bill, are the only reasons she's still holding on. She will return and when she does, Lily will show them she's not to be messed with. For fans of the Lily Harper series, REBIRTH, is a must.
