First, this is the third book I’ve read by this author. Second, I feel that the title “Hooker” is a mistake as the title for this book. It may be misleading to some. The sexual content of the book is brief and, only, there to keep the plot line going. It was a great short story for those who like dystopian worlds, whodunits, and futuristic societies. I don’t do spoilers and the book is short enough that it would be easy to do so in a review. Let’s just say that Roderick learns more than he wanted to know about robots. Roderick also gets a good look at the naked truth behind those with the highest of social status. A vast chasm exists between those at the top of the heap and those below. Roderick is near the top, but not high enough on the ladder to know everything. The book is worth the price for a one-hour mental vacation.
When you learn what happens to the Rebel at the end, you’ll get a good laugh!
