Back in the 1800’s I thought that my children were all that I needed out of this life. However, like all good things, they didn't stay small and needy for very long.
In the 1900’s I thought driving was my passion. I was wrong and ended up beyond miserable. New York traffic is not the way to enjoy your driving experience. In the twenty first century, I found it. Out of the sky popped a completely new life that had been living inside of me. But when I grew up yesterday, I finally knew exactly who I am. I am a writer and I love to write. Happiness is mine this time around with my Alpha Male supporting me every step of the way.

Wow, Wow, Wow a five star read! "Final Takers" is a refreshing new twist on the paranormal genre. If you want to take a breather from vampires and werewolves this is a MUST read. I was riveted to my seat and read until I was bleary eyed. I couldn't put it down!
Charlene F. Heller writes with non-stop passion, drama, and will render you speechless. "Final Takers-Tormented" is sexy as hell and erotic to the umpteenth power (BYB LOL). I am swooning over Tristan. Tall, dark hair, amber eyes, a dominate male that has Megan feeling taken in every way, mind, body, and soul. "I will not let you go from here. You were mine the minute I pulled you from that car. In my arms is where I wanted you. Now you will be in them as of today. Not because I simply want or need you. NO, it's because when I pulled you out of that car and really looked into your eyes, I saw us. I saw us from years ago all the way up until now. You and I are soul mates." Oh my, Tristan is so intense *swoon*.
The sexy things he say to Megan made me lick my lips. So H.O.T.! I love when he says,"Let me tell you that when you are excited sexually you smell literally like a sweet bakery. It's making me want to eat you." Woooo!!! Toe curling.
Megan is human and was raised by the "Takers, she has never lived a normal life. She is witty, sassy, funny, virtuous and righteous. Tristan on the other hand is inhuman and can be scary as hell. He is ancient and doesn't have much patience or tolerance for his very young mate. Megan, she belongs to him, he owns her, therefore Tristan doesn't trust that she may truly love him and vise versa. The drama that plays out between them is explosive and heartrending. As handsome as Tristan is he acts truly ugly towards Megan. I wanted to kick him in his baby maker. In the end, I understood him and I came to love him.

This gutsy woman isn’t in need of any sympathy. Megan has enough inner strength to face even the severest of storms. It’s only too bad for her that her soul mate Tristan is summing up to be a superstorm, and I think all she needs is a sledgehammer to knock-him-out with. Oh yeah, it’s a good thing that love is blind.

This book takes you into a different world as a reader that you may have never even known existed. The main character is strong and ballsy, which I LOVE! I found myself extremely irritated at the end of the book simply because I didn't have the second one to read yet! This book is a MUST READ!
