Picking up the story after REVEALED Part One, Mark Sakai must now complete his mission to bring Sanaa Griffin into his employ. All the plans are in place, and he just has to execute them, but he’s paralyzed with indecision and regrets. While Sakai tries to continue with his job despite his own cowardice, Jiro relives his past failures and watches his brother succeed without him. He didn’t think his life could get any more depressing until his father surprises him with a new student. But not just any student...
REVEALED is a collection of companion short stories to REMOVED, Book ONE of the Nogiku Series. Read REVEALED first or read it later, but don’t miss this look into the other side of Sanaa’s story.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review
I really enjoyed this second shot story in the Nogiku series. Just like Revealed Oart One this one is told from both Mark and Jiro their point of view. We see another side of the story then in Removed and it was so much fun to learn more about Jiro and Mark. I especially liked learning more about Mark and Lucy their relationship and how it started as there is less focus on that in Released and Removed.
There where some flashbacks, which confused me a few times when I thought they where still in the past while in fact they where in the present or the other way around. But overal this story was quick and fun read. I am looking forward to read the rest
To conclude: This was a fun and quick short story which gives us more insight in Jiro and Mark and show their perspective during some events in Removed.
This second installment of REVEALED by S.J. Pajonas follows Mark Sakai as he takes Sanaa away from her beloved employment as an engineer and employs her. He's supposed to tell her the truth about who she is, but he keeps finding his emotions are getting the better of him and preventing him being honest with Sanaa. Meanwhile, Jiro, upon seeing his brother's happiness with a new woman, reflects on his own past failures at having a relationship.
I love stepping back into this gorgeous, flawed, wonderful world S.J. Pajonas has created for the Nogiku series. What a surprising treat to see Sakai so vulnerable. Though we get glimpses of his sensitive side from Sanaa's point of view in REMOVED, we are fully immersed in it here. And, Jiro...I just want to sigh with pleasure when I think of his name. I could read from his point of view all day. I'd definitely recommend reading REMOVED and the first REVEALED before starting this one, but definitely don't miss this one!
Another great insight to the series! This part of the Revealed short story collection provided a glimpse into the Sakai's world, and how he came to train Sanaa. I also enjoyed learning more about Jiro's past relationship with Melanie. A wonderful companion to the Nogiku series.
