CD DRAMA:
Cast: Hirakawa Daisuke x Terashima Takuma. + Yonaga Tsubasa.

I lost count of how many times I’ve read this manga. Moegi Yuu is one of my favorite mangakas, and this will always be my guilty pleasure. I read this along with the CD Drama, so that was a big plus. Hirakawa Daisuke makes me squeal like a teenager. His voice is so fucking sexy and beautiful; I just get shivers every time he whispers in my ear.
In Katekyo! we have Kaede-san, who is Rintarou’s private teacher and a college student, so he is a couple of years older than him, but this just makes everything perfect, you see? Kaede has money, the looks and he’s also quite intelligent, but he’s sweet on Rintarou because, apparently, the guy is easy to tease.
They’re one of my favorites couples of all time, and that’s because I have a huge crush on Kaede-san, like holy shit, he makes me blush and I even make weird noises. But Rintarou-kun is also a kind person and I just want to protect him at all costs.
Though I must admit that sometimes Kaede-san might come a bit intense, possessive, and well, his behavior is not really healthy. Still, I really fucking love him. Like I said, a guilty pleasure.
The second couple are Miharu and Kouki, two best friends who fancy each other. Kouki is the kind of guy who excels at everything, just to impress Miharu, but in reality he is insecure about his friend’s feelings. They do have a thing but since they’re not the highlight of this volume, their relationship develops quite fast and there’s not really much depth into it.
Amekawa and Kazuki are the third couple. Amekawa is Kazuki’s student, so that’s a taboo relationship. I wasn’t a big fan of this, but well, the young man confesses to his teacher, and after a while, they start dating too. But like I said with the previous one, their relationship isn’t as enjoyable as the main couple.
Still, I think this volume is a fantastic read and a nice introduction to the series. Moegi Yuu has a beautiful art style and her characters really grew into me. I would totally recommend you this, if you like to read a nice m/m story!

This is a case where I really need to stress the review is for the whole series. Because while in the following volumes the series doesn't exactly gain a lot of depth, it's several steps up from the very shaky, sudden beginning - originally "Katekyo" was only supposed to be a sort of extended one-shot, and you can tell, because the way the two of them get together doesn't make much sense, even for BL. But if you can ignore that, you get an odd mix of your typical superficial BL story with a not that usual seme/uke dynamic. This sentence is basically short for "I love Rintarou", tbh because he's very cute and adorable and gentle and klutz and also perfect. I like how we get to see a lot of the story from Kaede's POV, and what he sees in Rintarou. And I love how often Rintarou is the one to show affection.
(I also love that thanks to the drama cd I have Hirakawa Daisuke's voice saying Rintarou's name in my ear while reading.)
While the story has too many uneven spots to earn five stars, every time I read it I enjoy it. Not a must read, exactly, but if you want to read something light and fun, this is a good choice.

This is as far as I get in this series, so the rating is for this and the previous volumes as well
LOVED IT
funny, sexy, innocent and a bit of corrupted as well.
Home tutuor that not only teaches his pupil all what he needs to know to get into college, but also shows him how to relinquish to his basic instincts.
I loved the story 'cause it really was a whole relationship, and the good thing here, is that this one doesn't have much drama, is more about the day by day of both of them since when they were tutor and pupil and then students in the same college, if I recall correctly.
Guess I'll be re-readingg this one as well.

It has been a fun read. Taboo and all. Age gap, Student X Teacher, Teacher X Student, Amorous persistent Seme and UNCENSORED PENIS! How rare is that in Japanese manga? Just one itsy-bitsy complain... the dong is too small. It needs more girth, length wise is okay.

There are sometimes manga that I read, that I really don't understand why I like them so much. This...is one of those.
In spite of the lack of reason for either of the characters to like each other, I loved the entire group of manga! It was weird! Granted, I am a sucker for great art style, as well as having a nice balance of angst as well as humor...so here you go!

Drei verschiedene Pärchen, die in der typischen Yaoi-Form Sex haben (heißt ohne richtiges Gleitgel, obwohl nein gesagt wird etc). Und daher leider nichts neues, außer das der Zeichenstil ganz nett etabliert. Schade.

Història principal amb dues d'extres que segueixen el mateix patró de certa jerarquia fins la parella, dinàmica profe-estudiant, toxicitat, possessió i gelosia extrems... El dibuix em recorda molt a Nekota Yonezou i l'inici problemàtic de Don't Be Cruel, Vol. 01-02: 2-in-1 Edition, Vol. 1, que dedueixo que era la moda de l'època... Les escenes hot i el dibuix molen, però fa patir força, ja veurem si continuo :/

Ok, so in no way is this a masterpiece or super emotionally moving piece. There also isn’t very much character development or major story development. I was really thrown off by the random one off stories thrown in between chapters, it was a little confusing and I also just didn’t care about those characters as much. I do think most of the sex scenes are fun to read, i just feel that maybe that’s all it’s good for. there were plenty of funny moments too, though

I wasn't sure if I would like the tutor/student dynamic, but I was pleasantly surprised. Kaede and Rintarou are actually pretty cute together. I'm glad to see a healthy relationship forming here, as they appear to have developed strong feelings for each other. The artwork is beautiful and nicely detailed as well.

Quando ho letto la trama mi ha intrigato fin da subito. Ho aspettato che uscisse tutto e l'ho comprato insieme allo spin off. Quando l'ho letto è stata una piccola delusione. Non mi aspettavo una cosa con più coppie. Un volume che si becca appena la sufficienza. Sembra una cosa autoconclusiva, in tutti e tre i racconti!
Ma ormai c'è l'ho tutto e proseguirò. Spero che mi faccia cambiare idea!

Half the book is about the main couple and the there are a few side stories. I actually like the side stories better the the main one but I look forward to the next volume.
