In a future where memories can be erased, traded, and even stolen, Paul’s past no longer exists.
A year ago, he walked into Elysium, a secretive company specialising in selective memory erasure, and paid to forget.
No memories of Claire. No trace of the wife who betrayed him. Now, he doesn’t even know she existed. He’s happy. Content. Everything is good—until the night he finds the folder.
CHEAT CODES.
A hidden directory buried deep in his system. Encrypted files. Cryptic messages—left by someone he doesn’t even remember.
The first entry chills him to his
"If you’re reading this, you wanted to forget me."
As Paul deciphers the files, some fragments of memories return. But with every decrypted clue, he learns the truth he buried deep. Claire wasn’t just unfaithful. She was playing a game. And Paul wasn’t just a heartbroken, cuckolded husband. He was part of it.
Each cheat code unlocks more than a memory—it rewrites his past, reshapes his identity, and drags him deeper into a hotwife obsession he thought he’d erased.
The game isn’t over. It never was.
Now, Paul must finish the game and remember everything… or leave the past buried before it destroys him.
Because some memories aren’t just painful.
Some are dangerous.
Cheat Codes is a high-tech erotic thriller with explicit sex scenes, exploring themes such as cuckold, hotwife, hotpast, wife sharing and cheating.
Wow. Mr Garland outdone himself on this one. He obviously put a lot of effort into crafting this story. I don’t know if the terminology was all made up or not but he made it very believable.
It’s a multi level story with a variety of characters and some intriguing twists and turns. And yes, a few sex scenes thrown in here and there.
However, it’s not really Hotwife or even erotica. But a really good sci fi tale. I recommend.
An erotic SciFi thriller. What’s real, what’s not? Who can you trust, and who can’t you trust? And why did you want to forget it all?
These are the questions Paul is facing as he reaches for fragments of his past.
This is the first book in a three part series. It’s about 85 pages, but I’ll grade this on my novel scale. Definitely an interesting and hot read.
5 Stars!
ps: I’ve finished Book 3 and it’s a barnburner. My review of Book 3 provides some insight, but no spoilers. If you’re hesitant about taking on this series, don’t be, it’s so worth the investment.
Great premise, even better story. It kept me turning pages and zipping through to find out what happened next. I'll be reading the rest of this series.
