3.5⭐️.. This was an enjoyable read, serving more as social commentary with a hint of thriller mystery. We follow Inspector Rakesh and celebrity Pooja as they become entangled in online rumors and hostility while attempting to uncover the truth behind a crime. The book highlights how new falsehoods can be fabricated and disseminated on social media, with narratives forming irrespective of the truth. Although there weren’t many mystery or thriller elements, I was sufficiently invested in the lives of these two characters to want to see how they would handle the situation. It was a quick read, somewhat unrealistic, but ultimately satisfying.
PS: why even write that incident between Pooja and Sanjay, if that’s what their arc ended up to be.
