This anthology of short stories is aimed at writers trying to get better in the craft. This mean, I am not necessarily the target audience.
However, I still got some enjoyment from the book - I always like to peek behind the curtains and see how the art is crafted. I think the writing advice in here is solid, but it lacks a bit of coherence (due to different authors covering different aspects). The stories itself are of varying quality. Unfortunately, some were rather weak and forgettable, while others were quite well done... But nothing really blew me away. So, a 3 star rating seems fair to me.
