Mary... I haven't had sex in years. Five years to be precise. And I really, really need to get laid. On a night out in Dublin with my bestie, even though I have high hopes, I’m still not prepared for when the hottest man I’ve ever seen sends over a drink. Think Thor, in a suit. (You’re welcome.) Cameron Delahunt, billionaire CEO, is temptation incarnate and he’s in Dublin on business for one night and he wants me. Who am I to look an insta-lust gift horse in the mouth? One anonymous scorching one-night-hook-up. That’s all it’ll be. But the next day when we run into each other again (Dublin is that small), I can’t help but think it’s fate and when he asks me to come to New York with him for a dirty weekend, how can I refuse? But, within days, our no-strings affair becomes something that neither of us expected. One night in Dublin was never going to be enough…
Abby Green spent her teens reading Mills & Boon romances. She then spent many years working in the Film and TV industry as an Assistant Director. One day while standing outside an actor's trailer in the rain, she thought: "there has to be more than this". So she sent off a partial to Mills & Boon. After numerous rewrites, they accepted her first book and an author was born. She lives in Dublin, Ireland and you can find out more here www.abby-green.com
I have read and enjoyed so many of this author’s books. She always managed to create engaging characters and execute a credible and emotional love story which was facilitated by brilliantly written sex scenes that were both erotic and romantic and served plot and character development: books like ‘The Virgin’s Debt to pay’, and ‘The Maid’s best kept secret.’
I can’t believe the same author wrote this one, where the sex scenes had very little romance. On the whole, the sex scenes all seemed incredibly mechanical and robotic, (IKEA instructions anyone?) they certainly didn’t turn me on!
This is obviously a new direction for the author and I wish her well, but I won’t be reading any more. I like my romantic fiction to focus on the characters and the romance and I want the sex scenes to be romantic as well as explicit. I really missed the romance here. It was a shorter book than normal and I feel the characterisation was adversely affected.
Much as I like AG’s voice and writing style, I found the switch between 3rd and 1st person POV every chapter, really jarring and irritating.
AG couldn’t write badly if she tried, but this is simply not my cup of tea, but I will continue to read her M&B books.
This is a standalone but is also part of a series. I didn't read the previous book but will going back to read them as they are siblings to our MFC and play a big part of what has shaped her.
Mary & Cameron meet when she is out with her BFF in Dublin. Cameron is there on business and Mary lives there. When her friend leaves Cameron sends a drink to her and that sets up this sexy couple for the hot chemistry they share. These two decide on a one night with no strings and then Cameron invites her to travel back with him to NY to continue their no strings. This will also give Mary the opportunity to catch up with her siblings (previous books) who also moved to NY. With all this chemistry, how are these two going to navigate a new no strings attached relationship that is not really a relationship.
Overall, a good read and the siblings make an appearance in the book so if you read the previous books in the series, you can catch up with them as well.

LIKED THE FL MORE THAN THE ML Found this book slightly off key than the usual Abby Green books. The FL here is the ever sacrificial lamb who gave up everything for her siblings and they got back at her by being entitled. The ML was as self absorbed as the fl's brother, only caring about his trauma and at some point taking advantage of the fl's naivete. FL moving to a different country after just a one night stand is sort of unbelievable but whatever character do these days to come off as adventurous and spicy. The spice in the book was never cohesive with the storyline, really.

No Strings Attached, by Abby Green, is a cute story. The chance meeting of Mary and Cameron lead to a one night stand that complexly rocked both their worlds. Though strongly attracted to each other, both Mary and Cam have emotional baggage from their past and are not open to being in a committed relationship. Agreeing to continue their no strings situationship in NYC is an easy decision, until their emotions and past demons make things complicated.

-A scorching hot romance that brings instant chemistry and unexpected depth. I received a free copy of this book and am freely sharing my honest opinion. The fiery connection at their bar meeting is so spectacular, especially after the romance book mention. Their “no strings” setup quickly tangles with emotion, desire, and charm. Sexy, steamy, and full of family and friends—this one will leave you smiling.
Mary is drawn to Cameron, a powerful CEO who exudes confidence and charm. She is out with her bestie when she sees him and jumps at the chance for a one night stand with the hot CEO. What begins as a one-night hook-up turns into a whirlwind weekend in New York, where emotions run deeper than either of them expected. Will they find that they have more going for them than a fling?
Oh my stars. Abby has written a romance book that has so much heat and steam your glasses will fog over and you will need a fan turned on. This book is one going down as a hot 10 stars and holy smokes the characters will make you smile.
This is book 3 of Spicy City Tales and a standalone story. This is a quick read with steamy scenes from hooking up at the bar to meeting again. The story ends in a happy ending.

This is a story about Cameron and Mary. The attraction is undeniable and one night leads to more than either expected. This is a good story with likable characters. I enjoyed the well developed plot and how their story develops.
