The Empty City hides powerful secrets, and Ethan Hill is determined to uncover them.
Disaster has been averted—for now. Earth is still in danger, and the Integration marches ever onward. Yet Ethan's journey has found him stronger than ever, and his experiences in the loops have left him on the cusp of grasping skills that can disrupt the flow of time itself.
The Empty City looms ahead, holding within it answers to both the nature of Firmament and the purpose of Integration. His allies' sacrifices linger behind, driving him forward. And new forces are emerging, some eager for revenge, others vying for control of him and all that he represents.
They'll soon learn that Ethan is a force unto himself... and like any good force, he's left ripples in his wake, causing new allies to rise behind him.
Ethan Hill no longer fights alone, and the Integrators have no idea what's coming.
Book 3 of this action-packed LitRPG Apocalypse Progression Fantasy seamlessly merging aspects from Apocalyptic System LitRPG's like He Who Fights with Monsters and Primal Hunter, with time loop stories like Mother of Learning.
A fantastic addition to the series and definitely my favorite yet. This book makes the series bigger, more action-packed, intricate, complex, and so much more emotional. Ethan, Akhelios, He-Who-Guards, Tarin, and even some characters I didn't expect... We become so much more attached to them and see them grow and change and confront their inner selves I couldn't possibly expect. We also see more of the world, gain further insight into deeper mysteries, and see some serious growths in power as Ethan unlocks entire facets of abilities that we haven't seen yet... And that ending... I cannot wait for Book 4! This is an amazing series I recommend for anyone who's a fan of LitRPG, timey-whimey shenanigans, and a progression fantasy with a powerful story and impact.
I liked the first one. I *really* liked the second one. This third one is MAGNIFICENT and I felt a lot of emotions and it was dramatic and powerful and I am*EAGERLY* awaiting the fourth book ha hah!!
