The Collector's Last Canvas is the first book in the Double Trouble series by Chris Corbett.
The story follows Diana Beyer, a former socialite, as she uncovers the truth behind her brother's murder. The killer is a billionaire fugitive hiding in Switzerland, believing his wealth makes him untouchable. Diana, along with her daughter Tanya—who runs an art gallery—hatches a daring scheme to expose him and bring him to justice. However, their plan faces danger from the killer’s influence and power. The story highlights the deep bond between Diana and her daughter Tanya, as they work together in pursuit of justice.
A highly enjoyable read and a very good debut novel. I am looking forward to reading the rest of this series as it becomes available.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
