Father Frank Sands, a devoted Catholic priest, is friendly, charitable and always has his follower’s thoughts, prayers, and problems in mind. He’s always willing to lend a helping hand, but he soon becomes immersed in the exchange of donations for his church but the powers of greed, finances, and immoral ethics quickly take hold, overwhelming and questioning Father Sand’s guilt and moral ethics. Evil soon takes residence within the Church of St. Thomas, taking hold of those within it, including Father Sands, who doesn’t realize that his religious antics and teachings are taking a questionable turn. He is quickly consumed by the power of greed, guilt, and depression thus pushing him and his parishioners into the Shadow of Evil.

LYNN MULLICAN was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She is married to Patrick, has three adult children, Cassandra, Bridget and Joeseph, three grand-daughters, and two grand-sons.
Starting from the early age of 7 years old, she began to write short stories and soon developed a love for the art.
Lynn wrote several poems that were published before publishing her first book.
Lynn did an amazing job weaving in classic horror elements with this story. It felt like all the good old stories like Rosemary's Baby, The Excorcist, and The Omen all mixed into one novella. Add the element of demons and the seven deadly sins and you have the makings of a scarefest that could easily be made into a film.
I recommend this story to anyone who likes classic horror from the 70's and 80's as Mullican has a good feel for what really scares us.
