Stephanie Summers is a paranormal and contemporary romance author. She graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in accounting, though writing is her true passion. Stephanie seemed to always have a story or two or ten running around in her mind. At the ripe old age of 30, she finally decided it was time to put aside the thought that she didn't have what it took to write a novel and began writing her first story.

She has since written her first paranormal series, The Willow Creek Vampires Series, with Craving (Book #1), Haunting (Book #2), Awakening (Book #3), and the short companion story, The Bludworth Chronicles: Origin, available now. Her short story, Love Forgotten, was chosen to be published in Stardust: A Futuristic Romance Collection, and another short story, Saved by the Bear, is available now. Her contemporary rock star romance, Take Me On, was released in 2015, with the sequel, Take Me Home, released early in 2016.

Sabine is happier in her new life than she ever thought possible, with her love for Remy life in the Mansion isn't quite so bad as she once belive it would be. But when Remy is captured trying to leave herwhole new life comes crashing down around herand she scrambles to figure out what is really going on.

Remy can't remember much of anything, he's been drained almost to death and doesn't know why he tried to leave or if he really did. Will his love for Sabine be enough to help him figure out what happened or will he fade away before the mystery of Willow Creek is solved.

Sabine is much happier in this one. She got her independance and her own strength to do things, but she's also willing to accept help when she needs it. Remy is not so dark and brooding in this one we see his happiness and willingness to do anything for Sabine and their freedom.

The Willow Creek story continues and while we see Sabine and Remy grow as a couple we also see more of what happens when you are chosen to live in the Mansion and how those on the outside treat them after they leave the town. There's also the mystery of why Willow Creek attracts supernaturals so much. Overall a very enjoyable story and I can't wait to see more!

This series will surprise you. If you manage to make it through the bad narration trust me the story is worth it! I found myself on the edge of my seat for the first time in a long time! Talking back to the computer screen. This one does have a little bit of back-and-forth. Angst. And if you can look past the fact that the narrator goes for sportscaster to his best impersonation of Blanche Devereaux and/or senior drag queen. You should find it very entertaining. This one definitely gives you moments where you just wish you could reach reach through the screen grab the characters and slap them around a bit. Personally, or maybe that's just me. I don't know LOL I read all three of these novels on the Romance package and I truly am planning to add all three of them to my library permanently. I absolutely loved Remington's character and Sabine's although I will say there are plenty times throughout this particular book where they both leave you going WTF? But then that's what makes a good hero Romance. I can't figure out if this is a beauty times the beast or starcrossed lovers type thing and I think that's what makes this series of interesting is that the little bit of all of the things put together shorter seamlessly and really enjoyed it. I've already decided I'm going to tell friends about this one!

This one appeared to be a smidge better than the last one, so I’ll leave the 3. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone looking for a grownup romance, and not sure how appropriate it would be for tweens as there’s graphic sex and violence. The problem is the characters act quite immature in their reactions to events, relationships, even life in general. So, they have kid brains, but deal with more grown up stuff.

This starts up just after the epilogue. Sabine is happier which makes her less whiny/annoying. It still has the same juvenile feel to it. Remy loves her now, so he’s less broody. Some answers are given, and MAJOR changes before the cliffy. * I read this for free with scribd, and originally it was on KU, I believe. I can't say I would spend $$ to read it.

I have to say I loved book two even more then the 1st in the series. It just gets better and better. More in depth. This novel wasn't your typical second installment book. It had answers and then more questions, lol. Makes a great second book to the The Willow Creek Vampire Series. No spoilers but it is a page turner! I don't think I can wait for the next installment!

Oh and this cover rocks! It's perfect :)

book 2 earned an extra star on the first instalment.

If only for the fact that Sabine isn't quite as full of teenage angst as she was for most of book 1.

Book 2 picks up right were book 1 finished. I mean exactly the same point - the epilogue form book 1 is chapter 1 of book 2. This was a tad cheesy. It made a great first chapter and probably would read better if edited form book 1 especially for this of us who went straight from one book to the next. There were small changes between the two that also made it slightly confusing.

I thought the story line in book two was far more interesting and in fact given that the time line follows on they could almost be edited into one book - book 1 is a lot of world building but it is a quick read. now having read the 2nd book I kind of wish book one had been really developed to cover more of Sabines life. maybe as a child she needed to be saved and the vampires came to the rescue - there could have been more development into why Sabine was the chosen one and then we would launch more emotionally developed into the drama of book 2.

I enjoyed this for an easy read to leave the real world behind for an hour or two.

Stephanie Summers The Willow Creek Vampires series is great fun, and that certainly the case with its second book, Haunting. Sabine and Remy are wonderful leads and this story is precisely the well-written tale of “sexy vampires, strong-willed heroines, and lovers who would do anything to keep the other safe”. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - the book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.

I read and enjoyed this book as part of The Willow Creek Vampires Series by Stephanie Summers includes the following three books which are Craving, Haunting, and Awakening. This series follows the developing relationship between a young human girl named Sabine and a vampire named Remy. This series is a unique take on a vampire romance that I enjoyed reading. It is a compelling story that develops smoothly throughout the three books. This story is compelling and suspenseful with likable characters that I fell in love with while reading this series. This is a wonderful read for anyone who enjoys vampire romances. The Willow Creek Vampires is a compelling series of vampire romances.

This was a great sequel to the first book. I was expecting it to branch off and center on some of the periphery characters from the first novel, but it was just a continuation of the story of central characters from the first novel. Great writing style and enjoyable characters. Can't wait to read the 3rd.

Well now what is in store for Remy and Sabine now? It appears that all the vampires are humans now so how could that be? Moving on to book number three 😉

Love this series so far. Sabine and Remy's story is emotional and little heartbreaking in this book. The writing and character development made this a real page turner.

This book starts off weeks after Craving ends. Sabine has adjusted to her new life with Remy very well. Though she still misses her old life, her friends, and family. One night she ends up having a visitor in her dream. The first offering is trying to send her a message by giving hints to Sabine to figure them out. After Sabine and Remy take a short trip, things quickly change for the both of them. Bastian has charged Remy with trying to leave Sabine so he locks him up an rains him of his blood, and his memory. It's up to Sabine to find out the truth about what is going on, if Remy did betray her and try to leave, about the power that draws all manner of supernatural creatures to Willow Creek.

I've been waiting for this book since the first one came out! I couldn't wait to get my paws on it.I sat down to read this book, intending to take my time with it but I finished it so much faster than expected. I just could NOT put it down!

This was an excellent second book in the series. I enjoyed the new characters as much as the old ones. The interaction between them, and the dialog. This book has more action in it than the first. The first focused on character development and letting the reader get to know their world, who they were and more, this takes all that and builds on it. It adds more layers, and gives us a lot of action and mystery. I loved learning the bits about the history of the characters and the town, and that the information wasn't just handed to you surrounded by filler. It was an adventure to get it. Oh and the ending! It's a cliff hanger, but done wonderfully! It answers the questions you have for this book and wraps up the story nicely, but there is a bit that will bring you back for the next book. The beginning of a mystery that will leave you wanting to hound the author to hurry up and publish the next one already so you can read it. If you liked or loved the first book you will love the crap out of this book.

Great story! It began at exactly the point where Craving left off but I knew that trouble had to be brewing because our main couple, Remy and Sabine, just couldn't stay in marital bliss without something trying to tear them apart. We needed an obstacle in their way and we got it. Although the super couple remain our main squeeze in the book, we also meet some new characters. Brendan is a new vamp living at the manor and he isn't exactly the boy next door. To be honest, I hated him and was hoping that Remy would kill him. We also meet the witch, Mary, and Sam, the shifter. Both of these characters befriend Sabine and are extremely helpful in her quest to save Remy. I really liked the addition of witchcraft to the story. I have a feeling that Sabine may learn a few more spells in the future. We are also introduced to a ghost, some secret rooms, and an age old legend that clears up a lot about why Bastian is so powerful and why the town is so attracted to the supernatural creatures of the world. I really began to dislike Bastian in this story.

I really liked the way the story was put together made perfect sense and was really interesting to read. There was a nice balance of romance, drama, and action so I really didn't put the book down much at all. Really only when I absolutely had to. It was nice to see Sabine happy but to also see the part of her that was feeling heartbroken and neglected by family and old friends. She really grew up in this story.

My only complaint is that this story seemed to go too fast. I wanted it to last longer! The way it ended was both awesome and agonizing because I have to wait to find out what happens next. There are a lot of questions that still need to be answered. Hopefully, I won't have to wait too long. :)

Pick this book up if you love vampire stories. Both the buy links and some author links are listed below. Happy reading!

This is book two in the Willow Creek Series.
I would say that you can read this as a stand alone
but there are details about this couple that you would want to get from the first book. So I suggest reading book one first.

I gave this book 5 stars.
This is the continuing story of Sabine and Remy.

Remy finally has the guy. They are finally happy and she is living in the vampire mansion just like she is suppose to. But soon Bastian the head vampire comes to her and tells her that Remy tried to leave. He tried to leave without her. Now he is being punished for what he has done. Bastian keeps him locked up and continues to drain his blood to keep him weak. Why would he do this did he lie to her about loving her? Sabine needs to find out the truth, and when she does will it help her to get Remy out of the prison that he is in? Or are they destined to be separated forever.

This was better then the first book and I was again left with not much sleep. This book is action packed and will keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what is going to happen next. I wondered how the Author was going to get these Characters out of the mess that they were in. I didn't think it was possible. AND again I am left with a cliff hanger! And this time I am not happy!! Book three is not out. It will be out soon. But again I say that it is not out and I want it now!!!

This is a great story that I wouldn't mind reading again. I love vampire stories. And it helps that Remy is one hot vamp too!!! He can take me away in his dreams any night! Thank you for another great book Stephanie !! Please hurry up and get the third one done!!!

Great second book!!!

Wow this one was a lot better than book one like I had thought it might be. This story was faster moving, I think flowed much better and was a bit better written than the first one. I really liked the story too! Not quite like any vampire story I have read yet. So many of them are all kind of the same but I liked how this one was a bit different in some ways. Anyways if you enjoyed book one your going overbook two! We I th I k get a bit more into the heads of both of them and fiat ally get the story of the town and why it's so special. It does leave off in a kind of cliff hanger in a way though and argggggg.. ..... I'm broke right now!!! Lol will have to wait to read book three until I get a few more bucks in my PayPal account I guess but I will for sure be reading book three!!!!

So the book starts right after Sabine and Remy get married. She is dealing with her new life. Her family and friends have moved on and have been excluding her so not to hurt her. Then Remy starts looking into breaking his sire bond. He finds a way but after it is done he is not same. What are they going to do when Remy is forced to forget most of his life? What are the secrets of their little town?
Well it is an interesting mystery. I started reading and couldn't put the book down. The story unfolded at a decent pace to keep me interested in the story. I didn't like though Sabine and Remy as much. I am guessing the obsession and inability to be alone is a vampire human thing. I just found it kind of annoying she couldn't stand to be with anyone else if it wasn't him. But as the story went on I found myself loving Sabine more. It ends on such a cliffhanger it made me a little angry lol. I can not wait for the next installment. Now i need to go and read the first book!
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Sabine has been given a life she never wanted but has come to love. She is married to the very handsome vampire, Remy and he loves her with a passion that matches her own. She has lost her family and friends, as they no longer chose to associate with her, but she has the love of her life to keep her happy.
When Remy tries to break the bond with his maker, Bastian, their lives are changed forever. Now Bastian is determined to get rid of Remy and make Sabine his new blood mate and wife. Sabine and Remy are running out of time to stop the union that will fracture their former life. Can they figure out what gives Bastian his extreme power in time to save Sabine and Remy of the future they want and deserve?
This is the second book and although I did not read the first one, I was able to follow the storyline. Great imageries were given and the author described the love Sabine and Remy had for each other in perfect detail. 4 stars

Book 2

Somehow I find it very fast-paced, and predictable.
I was a bit surprised that nobody could hear Sabine screams when she was bitten by Brandon. I remember that in her time with Remy that Bastian could hear them. And now where she was mistreated nobody could hear her scream? But when Damian interrupted Brandon, Bastian was there in seconds. Very weird.
I would have liked a little more interactions with the other vampires and guests in the Manor it would have been better for the development of the storyline. As well more interactions with Sam the shifter, it was a it bit plain for my part. The first book was a better read.

This book continues where book one left off with us wondering what is going on and Sabine feeling like she has been betrayed by the vampire she fell in love with, Remy. Remy’s maker Bastian has secrets he has been keeping from everyone and now he wants Sabine for himself even though heart still belongs to Remy. Sabine makes some new friends and then the ultimate betrayal and events unfold she thinks she has lost Remy forever then it ends with a shock like no other.

Good but too short!!!

I would have given this book 5 stars but it was simply too short. I don't consider a book that is 170+ pages to be a full length novel. Especially when the beginning of the book is a rehash of the end of book #1. This book leaves you hanging so ofcourse now I have to pay $3.99 for the next book that is even shorter at 150+ pages. I hate that!

Just as good as book 1

Nice new take on the vampire world. Female character strong, yet remains loving and caring of her friends and vamp mate. Enjoy her no BS take on things, refreshing. Vamp is just dark enough to be fascinating yet not depressing. I recommend reading in order though, you will enjoy more. Though can be a stand alone.
