A dreamy supernatural Boys' Love comic about a charming himbo and his moody but cute boss. When 24-year-old Jungoh answers an ad seeking an assistant for a shaman, he expects a straightforward part-time gig. The ad called for someone strong, patient, and quick on their feet--perfect for Jungoh. But when he arrives, he's thrust into a bizarre world where the rules are anything but ordinary.
His boss, Shin Ibeom, is a grumpy yet undeniably cute shaman, cursed with uncontrollable arousal due to a nightmare seedling. As Ibeom's assistant, Jungoh must help him navigate this strange situation while working inside people's dreams. But the deeper they dive into the dream world, the more bizarre and unpredictable things become--especially as Jungoh finds himself battling a growing attraction to his mysterious boss.
What started as a simple job quickly turns into something far stranger, as Jungoh navigates both the surreal dream realm and the complexities of Ibeom's heart!

This plot is hilarious & kinda absurd but I love it. The art is good as well, and of course I'm drawn to it because it deals with the dreaming world. Jungoh & Ibeom have such cute chemistry - the younger one, Ibeom, is a shaman who deals with nightmares, while Jungoh is supposed to be his assistant. Then boom, Ibeon is stuck by a cursed "malady" which turns out to be... horniness? Sure! Jungoh is like, not phased at all, like yeah my job is to have sex in dreams, sounds totally normal and fine with me.

This was a lot funnier than I was expecting. It's an interesting setup that I hope will have more actual plot and substantial relationship development as it goes on, rather than just continuing as a sort of repetitive sex pollen romp.

It was all very fun in this opening volume, though. Jungoh is a 24 year old taking a gap year from college and struggling to hold down any jobs. He's charming and easygoing and doesn't seem like the type to get too attached to anything - which is typically a good thing, because it seems like he gets fired a lot? I'm hoping for more backstory about him and some glimpses of his friends and life outside of this job.

On a whim, he answers a flyer that Ibeom's shaman grandmother put up - probably to pull him in, specifically? She seems to know a lot more than she's letting on, including some stuff she vaguely shared with Jungoh after he officially signs his new hire documents. I didn't really understand her explanations, although I got the strong sense that Jungoh and Ibeom potentially have some sort of red string of fate deal going on - which could explain how Jungoh is able to enter dreams with a shaman without needing the ribbon tying them together.

There are some job hazards associated with being a shaman, where they can get on-the-job injuries that lead to maladies that create uncontrollable urges: like rage or hunger. Or, in Ibeom's case, uncontrollable horniness. Which he reluctantly asks Jungoh to help him get through.

I'm a little wary of this being an ongoing part of the story, with them having to sneak off to do it every time Ibeom enters a client's dream...? But hopefully it doesn't go down any weird routes I'm not into. Right now, their chemistry is fun and I'd like to see how their "business arrangement" can transition into an actual romantic relationship.

Ibeom's older brother is really fun, too. I enjoy how protective he is, but also how much Jungoh sticks up for himself, too. Although the leg-stroking scene at the cafe made me laugh out loud. The awkwardness...

Intrigued for now. We'll see how the series goes from here.

This was so delightfully fun! Another great recommendation from a fujoshi on TikTok. Some of them, I’m truly out here trusting with my life 😂

Anyway ✨

I really like the dynamic between Jungoh and Shin. Jungoh is truly out here going from “I’m straight” to “I’m definitely interested in this man” in 0.1 seconds…and I respect him for not really stressing out about it 😂 He really said, he’s cute and that’s all that matters to me 🤷🏻‍♀️

Shin, on the other hand, is gonna need some work 😂 He’s mostly fine with the practical nature of Jungoh helping him with his sexual needs, but for the time being he remains decidedly emotionally unattached. Can’t wait for that to change! 🙏🏻

Man, I really wish the next volume of this was already out. It was just so lighthearted and enjoyable! I must join the peasants, though, and wait for vol 2 to come out…in several months 😭

I actually really enjoy the basic concept behind this story. It's fun and it leaves a lot of room for creativity, which the author takes of advantage very well. And I liked the beginning a lot. The problem for me is Ibeom as a character. He treats Jungoh like trash, all the while shamelessly using him, and I have a hard time feeling invested in a romance like that. There's obviously room for that to change further in the series (and there are small hints dropped along the way that it will), so I'll give the second book a chance for sure when it comes out, since I like Jungoh and the concept. But at the moment, I don't like Ibeom, which is why this volume is rated a 3 star for me.
