Roman is a man of little words and lesser morals. He's a man who accepted his demons long before the average person even realized they had any. Roman has never felt emotions like guilt, shame, or remorse. Roman has also never felt love, sympathy, or compassion

Jaded for reasons unknown with more money at his disposal than he knows what to do with, Roman's walk to the dark side began long before his first kill. He will taunt you, he will make you hope and watch in amusement as you fall for him, believing you're the one who can save his soul. Believing you're the one who can get through because the other twelve failed, you'll know to the marrow of your bones how lucky being number thirteen really is...

How do I know all of this? Because, my name is Heather Mackenzie and I've been number thirteen for a lot longer than I ever intended to be.

This book contains explicit descriptions of violence and sex, obscene language, torture, rape, assault. This book is intended for mature audience members only, and NOT intended for the weak at heart, nor persons with any triggers.

Who is Kimber? Shit, sometimes even I don't know, lmao. However, if I can only say one thing for certain about myself, it's this: I'm real, I don't back down from what I believe, I say what I mean, and I mean what I say. I don't bite my tongue and I never try to hide the ugly parts of who I am... You either love me or hate me, but if you love me... I'll always be loyal, no fucking matter what ;)
I can be called a billon different things—daughter, wife, mother, Registered nurse. I'm a book blogger, book pimp, and a book whore. My two indulgences in life are my two Jack's: Jack Daniel's and Blackjack.
I was born and raised in Louisiana… and No, I do NOT live in a bayou, I actually see the beaches on the gulf coast more than I see a bayou. I started writing poems and short stories very early in my life. I've been a book hoarder since I was eleven years old, but then a couple years ago something wonderful happened! My inner smut whore came to life and I commenced to read anything and everything smut affiliated. When reading wasn't enough anymore and I noticed that so many of the authors of my favorite genres were indie authors and their books weren't getting the exposure their work deserved, I turned it into a mission, starting my own blog, buying their books and reading them one by one. I then wrote my reviews for my blog and didn't hold back in writing them (Hell yeah those motherfuckers a profanity laden). I've never done a single thing in my life half-ass. I always go all in. After the success of my Blog, I was ready to finally take the plunge and see if I could write a book that was worth a damn. I'm a Southern girl to my core, a self-proclaimed smut whore, and I can't believe I now have over ten books on Amazon, much less that I did it: I’m an author, but honestly… I don’t believe the rumors, lol. I don’t feel like a kickass bitch spittin’ out lyrics, or stories, like a motherfuckin’ rockstar.
Tattooed across my ribs are the words I have always lived by: 'Aut viam inveniam aut faciam tibi.' Latin for: If I cannot find a way, I will make my own.
If you want to contact me, give me a shout out at 3am because my story just decimated your work day potential, or hell if you want to stalk me (I’ve met some of my BFF’s that way, don’t judge a stalker, they are awesome, fun, kickass bitches) follow me on these links:

Is it possible to give a book negative stars? This was by far one of the absolute worst books I've ever read in my life! I usually never write negative reviews, but I'm going to for this one as the book price is ridiculously high considering it was an utter pile of shit! First of all, THIS IS NOT DARK EROTICA. There is absolutely nothing dark or erotic about this story. This is a story about stupidity and weakness which leads to dark consequences and really awful sex. It's literally like the author watched (not even read) Silence of the Lambs and Twilight, and merged them together. Let me explain the story.
So the main guy is Roman, who is this self proclaimed monster, sadist, murder, rapist bloke and the story is about how he fell in love with his "soul mate" and killed her anyway. Now on to the soul mate, Heather. Agent Clarise meets Bella. I never rolled my eyes as much as I have while reading her internal monologue! She starts out as this rough and tough police detective working undercover to bring Roman to justice because that was her late father's last case. And all of a sudden she turns into this doormat/chopping board for Roman and willingly goes to live with him at his house and does nothing to escape. She keeps "falling more and more in love" with him as the days go by and he stitches her jaw shut, kills her uncle right in front of her, beats her up regularly, literally skins her ass and loads more loving things. This woman gets her virginity taken by the guy BRUTALLY raping her, and her immediate thoughts (while covered in her own blood) afterwards is how beautiful the guy is. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! And we also have Andrew who is Roman's PI and chef (because those two professions go hand in hand together, obviously!) who is in love with Heather, but all he does for one whole year is watch her get raped and beaten up by Roman, all the while vowing to kill him someday. HELLO? What was the point of this character?! Anyway so after getting her entire face smashed to bits and actually needing plastic surgery, the heroine then falls in love a bit more with roman. And then she gets pregnant. And roman treats her worse and SHE GOES AHEAD AND MARRIES HIM!! Are you serious?? What about the safety of your child?! I seriously cannot explain how mind numbingly STUPID this book was! What an utter waste of my time and money!

I'll leave it here for anyone interested in how the "romantic" relationship between the psychopath aka serial killer of innocent women and his victim aka spellbound heroine is portrayed in contemporary romance.

I can only watch in horrid fascination as Roman strangles the life from my beloved uncle before shock consumes me and the blessed darkness rips my consciousness away.

Well, I guess fascination doesn't even describe it.

Once I lose interest, you lose your life…are we clear?"

“Because you refused to answer my earlier question concerning your knowledge of the twelve, I purposefully shattered your jaw and wired your teeth together and for added excitement I took care of your inconvenient uncle. You’ve been out for almost two weeks.

This guy knows how to have fun😉

I fall in love with him over and over again.

I bet you do, geeeze🙄

“Would you like to explain to me, Heather, why you feel you have a right to choose the clothing you wear?"
She rolls her eyes. Rolls. Her. Fucking. Eyes.

Ain't he sweet?

Roman William Payne is an OBGYN practitioner. He's rich, self-sufficient, and is also a rapist with serial killer tendencies.

At the other end of the spectrum, Heather Mackenzie is a 25 year-old undercover police officer tasked with infiltrating Roman's life and finding the evidence that proves his guilt in relation to a string of unsolved murders. Her goal of bringing him to justice for the lives he's rumored to have taken goes widely askew when Roman isolates Heather and beats her. She's forced into submission and the story ends with a cliffhanger.

This story features multiple POVs and spans years. I liked the premise of this story, but the delivery was less than desirable. I didn't care for any of the characters, nor did I feel the connection between the main characters. It was also difficult to ignore the endless spelling, grammar, and punctuation issues heavily loitering the text. I tried to enjoy this story, but I barely even liked bits and pieces of this book. The first quarter of this story was a struggle to get through and the writing style irked me most of the time because both Heather and Roman frequently addressed the reader in their thoughts, and that just didn't work for me.

Not what I was hoping for!! This story line was chaotic and made no sense most of the time. This could have had a great Dexter vibe. Unfortunately Roman's motivates for his actions didn't make sense from one point to another. One minute he's confessing his undying love to Mac, the next his smashing her face and breaking her jaw *pause* How did we get here????

I didn't understand the motivation for any of the characters except maybe Roman's father. Roman was a woman beater/ murderer (so not sexy). Mac was an indecisive nit wit. Seb was a weak p*ssy. (Really you go from jerking off to a rape scene to watching "the love of your life" be brutalized for years. ) How exactly does that make him the puppet master?????

Warning me in the prologue that we would not agree with the characters actions does not give carte blanche to have his actions be so inconsistent. While I was reading I felt like there was such a disconnect of emotion in the retelling of events. I felt like I was hearing the story from someone who hear the story from someone else. (the phone game) And the storyteller didn't really know all the details. Not really a good thing when its supposed be the main characters POV...smh! Don't get me wrong I love a good dark romance (Captive in the Dark, Consequences, Underestimated), but I need it done properly. If not it just sounds like domestic violence *gross*

I love self pub works. You find so much talent, but this is not an example of that. Don't get me wrong, Kimber has talent. I loved Woman Gone Mad. I just felt like this was rushed. My humble opinion to authors is to have as many people as possible read your work. Non fans, people who aren't into the genre.... Take criticism and use it!!!

Soooo I'm gone wrap this up by saying not everything is for everyone and this was not for me. Please excuse my rant. I'm just a reader. Not a critic just the audience. I meant no disrespect. My words got away from me. Happy Reading to All.

Absolutely loved this story. It's a really dark and twisted read. I HAD TO read this in one sitting. There was no way Roman would let me put my kindle down until Id finished it.

The author told this story in a way that the characters were talking directly to you. Looking back after reading it I'm surprised I didn't wet myself with fright that such a bad and sadistic man was talking directly to me.

Roman is Satan. He doesn't excuse himself for what he's done. He's sadistic. He enjoys raping, beating and killing women. Twelve women so far- will Mac be number thirteen? Mac ( Heather) has her own agenda for 'running into' Roman. But has she gone too far?

My emotions were all over the place with this book. One minute I hated the characters and the next minute I loved them. Total mind f**k.

I've read over 450 books so far this year and this is certainly on my top ten. This ends in a oh shit cliff hanger. Usually I prefer to read books with cliffhangers when the next book is out but not with this one. I'm so happy I experienced this read.

This is a really dark and angsty read-behind-the-cushion kinda story. To say I loved it is an understatement!!!

DARK AND TWISTED AND F*CKED UP

Well I love a dark male but, my God Roman' s actions were difficult to read at times..I hated him with a passion ( that's not to say I didn't like the book, because some of the best books have characters we love to hate)

In my mind, Roman is NOT...

Hot...or

Sexy

But he is..

Cruel...and

Sadistic..

I absolutely adored Heather and so wanted her to have happiness..

If you enjoy the darker side of books with a Monster in control, definitely give this a go...just discovered the second book is out now and am immediately going to download ...I really want Roman to suffer!!

Must say, I love this Author...A Women Gone Mad is one of my favourite books

☆☆☆☆ 4.5 Monster Darkness Stars ☆☆☆☆

"Every sin I commit, each life I end, every soul I purchased to watch in gratifying amusement as it fades out."

 photo PicsArt_09-06-03.04.27_zpsheycixjc.jpg

Roman Payne is dark, cruel and full of evil.
You will not like Roman in the least. He has no heart and he makes no excuse for his actions. His life is all that matters and the lives of others are only worthy to live until he is bored with them.....then comes a cruel death. Roman has cause so many deaths, but nothing satisfies his inner monster.

 photo PicsArt_09-06-03.13.48_zpsvko5upvm.jpg

Heather MacKenzie is no different. She wants Roman in so many ways. She is trying to bring him down for the lives he has ended, but her feelings get in the way and plans go a wry.
"Roman isn't good. Roman isn't innocent. And Roman can never be my angel. Roman is a killer, a vile thief of lives and souls and dreams. He is Lucifer, in all of his glorious beauty. "

As Heather hands her life over to Roman and his evil darkness, she never really understands the life she is about to live.

Roman is beyond abusive and cruel to Heather. What Heather has to endure at then hands of the man she loves us indescribable. I will admit some words I read were beyond horrendous. You will say, no love or man us worth this anuse.

If you can't handle evilness and abuse, this story is not for you.

When Roman breaks Heather so bad, her mind snaps and her livelihood is effected beyond what Heather or Roman can comprehend.

As Heather heals, she continues to still love her devil without a soul. She can't help the bond she feels for Roman, as he his her everything and about to become their daughter's everything.

As she begins to tame Roman's demons, their life is good, until Roman realizes he can't stand by a destroy the two people that mean more to him than anything ever has.

"Aut viam inveniam aut faciam tibi" 《If I cannot find a way, I will make my own.》

The ending.......heartbreakingly awesome!! I never saw this coming and I should have. As Roman destroys the life he needs and craves, we finally see the broken man he truly is.

***4 I FEEL NUMB STARS***

"Our hearts are so self destructive and foolish, like sheep, they lead us to our own slaughter. And after we’ve shattered…we keep on begging, pleading for more, because the sweet is every woman’s drug. And even though it’s known he will wreak you, decimate you, and leave you in the dark nothingness, we still chase the sweet just like the good little addicts we are."

Omg. The emotions. I felt through this book were NUTS. Basically i have suffered an emotion overload and am now pretty much numb. WHAT IN THE HELL DID I JUST READ!

description

This book was BRUTAL. Seriously guys, be forewarned- this is a dark, crazy and fucked up read! I may need to take a shower to wash the fuck upped-ness of this book off of me.

I also feel as though i should take two Advil and drink a bottle of water before heading to bed tonight to prepare for the onslaught of the book hangover that will be plaguing me ALL DAY tomorrow.

description

Seriously, I have no words. This book hurt my brain. Although it's told through a dual POV, you literally have no clue what the hell is REALLY going on in the minds of Heather and Roman. Not until the end of the book does everything really come together and you are left with an ending that leaves you like...

Dark And Depraved

After being blown away by 'That Which Destroys Me', I dived right into 'Roman'. Ms. Dawn continues to shock me with the brutality and darkness of her stories. No fairy tales or HEAs here. Don't let yourself be deluded into thinking that a sudden attack of conscience is going to cause Ms. Dawn's villains to turn a new leaf and reform their bloodthirsty ways. You can forget that!

While I love a good, dark read, I also want to connect with the main characters. Eventually, Roman grew on me a little, but it was late-coming and I mostly just hated his guts. Understandable, being that he is a sadistic serial murderer. However, I didn't particularly care for Heather either for the better part of the book. Without feeling a connection to either one of the main characters, the first 1/2 of 'Roman' seemed to be fueled by shock value alone.

Somewhere around the halfway mark, I began to feel more of a connection to Heather and Roman. Up until that point, I felt completely detached from the story of the crazed killer and his profoundly foolish 13th victim. I had even considered just giving up on the story and leaving it DNF. Ultimately, I kept reading and am glad I did.

The second half of the book had my rapt attention. I was completely captivated by the abusive cycle playing out on the pages. The evolution of the emotional relationship between Roman and Heather was morbidly fascinating. Despite the forewarning, I found myself hoping that the sadistic desires of Roman had gone dormant. Then those hopes were crushed, only to have that foolish hope build up again. Repeat.

Overall, I ended up liking this story. In my opinion, it wasn't of the same high caliber of 'That Which Destroys Me', but it was okay. There were many grammatical errors, particularly in the beginning, and they were a bit distracting.

I'm on the fence about whether or not I'll read part 2 of Roman's story, but am leaning towards "yes". I'm still curious about this demented killer. If the follow-up goes as quickly as this first book did, it won't take long to see where Roman's story leads.

FIVE SAVAGELY VIOLENT STARS!!!! Just take my word for it. If you love dark books such as Joseph Fallen, Topping from Below, Decimation of Mae, (Oh yes those big dogs) then you need to read ROMAN!! If you liked the movie American Psycho (I haven't read the book), then you'll very much enjoy ROMAN! Bear with me while I ramble...I'm writing this review straight from finishing the last word. My heart rate is racing, my throat's all tight and constricted and I feel like my stomach is on the floor!! Did I like it?? No.....I LOVED IT! Every gut-wrenching vicious moment. Roman is a complete savage!!! Think Anthony Rawlings x1000! From page 1 and repeatedly throughout I was warned by Roman's voice that he was the devil and this book wasn't going to be about his redemption. But damn me if I still didn't hold onto hope!! He owns up to his demented ways without any regrets or explanations. Mac makes no excuses for her actions and reactions as well. It's as if she knows exactly how the reader is perceiving and judging her and she tries to justify those actions not only for the reader, but for her own sanity as well. Cleverly written with direct communication to the reader. (I can't explain it, but you'll understand where I coming from.) I immediately felt a connection. Are there unanswered questions....YES. Does it end in a cliffy....OH YEAH! Should you know this based on "Book 1" clearly written after the title...YES! AWESOMELY EXCITING, GROTESQUE, SHOCKING and RIVETING!! Roman will have you BEGGING for more!!!!! Fantastic job, Kimber S. Dawn! You've permanently planted yourself into my dark heart.

:: ★ 5 Wicked & Sadistic Stars ★ ::

YIKES! This is probably the most sick and twisted book I have ever read. I am sure that I have said this about other novels but this one tops all of those. This book is dark . Probably even darker than you can imagine. When reading it I thought to myself NUMEROUS times “what in the ever living fuck am I reading”. Am I sadistic too because I liked this book? I have no idea. It definitely takes you on one crazy ride. You don’t know how much to hate Roman (do you even hate him at all). You can’t understand why Mac stays with her tormentor (or can you). This book messed with my mind for sure. If you’re into dark novels that end on a cliffhanger with no idea as to what is happening… then this is your book.

Warning:This book is DARK. Contains scenes of captivity, rape, extreme abuse, and torture. It is twisted and will bother you.

Genre: Dark Romance

Overall Rating: 5-6 Stars

Recommendation: Yes to fans of dark and twisted books.

Roman was a heartless serial killer. Heather was the cop determined to bring him down. After years of dancing around each other, Heather showed up at his house and offered herself to him. Being the sick bastard that he is, Roman kept her against her will. He beat her, raped her, kept her from her family, prevented her from going outside, and chose what she would wear. Heather's personality changed quickly. She never tried to escape (she did have some opportunities) or defend herself. It was pathetic. Roman was just an irredeemable asshole. I hated the characters.

The story frequently skipped ahead by weeks or months. The characters would be different, but the opportunity to show how they changed and developed wasn't there due to the weird time jumps. Half way through the book there was a development. It created so much relationship drama. There were a few chapters from an enemy of Roman's. He thought he was a bad ass, but he was really pathetic loser who was jealous of Roman. Overall the story was dumb, and there is no way in hell I'm reading the next one.

Naive beauties whose misconceptions blinded them of their fatal mistake; leading them and forcing me to ensure they were broken beyond measure.

Roman is a serial killer .

Like Ted Bundy, he’s handsome, charismatic, and a part of the upper echelon of society. A society where his hidden activities and desires are well hidden. Heather “Mac” Mackenzie is a second generation detective assigned to Roman’s case. Twelve girls have been murdered and all that is left is to find the proof that it was Roman. But as their paths intersect neither of them are prepared for what’s about to come.

"You're my number thirteen, I told you I would make you see how lucky being number thirteen can be."

I went into reading this book expecting darker erotica- but personally I found this one more of a crime thriller. I definitely wasn’t disappointed with the difference and am quite excited to add a new type of book to my shelves- a serial killer romance!

I found Roman’s character despicable yet comical and I loved reading from his viewpoint~ his voice was FASCINATING to me and written superbly. I neither liked nor disliked Heather’s character and the main reason was because I did not understand her- she didn’t make sense to me. In the beginning of the book she sets her eyes on him for the case and they have a brief encounter in the library and then end scene it’s been months and she’s madly in love with him? What happened? I feel like there was some action missing in this part of the story and I wanted to read more. My interpretation lead me to believe she was just unnaturally obsessed with him- that from orbiting around him for her detective work drove her near crazy to idolize him. (It happens-Ted Bundy had a legitimate fan club)

I also have to hand it to the author for writing one of the most gruesome dark erotic scenes I’ve read in a book- where Roman first takes Heather. Wow… was not expecting that! For all of its darkness I found that scene very powerful.

My favorite part of the book consisted of a third viewpoint from an unknown observer- I had a few guesses but couldn’t figure out who it was until the author revealed the observer to us the reader! I thought it added something extra to the story and kept my eyes glued to the screen of my kindle to find out just when the story would explode with another master puppeteer behind the scenes.

I’d recommend this to those who enjoyed dark books like Topping from Below and Her Master's Courtesan. This one is for seasoned dark readers in my opinion and those who want their boundaries pushed.

Our hearts are so self destructive and foolish, like sheep, they lead us to our own slaughter.

My first review. I would give it less stars if I could. I love dark, but this was just all over the place. Editing and some basic creative writing courses would benefit this author dearly.

I've been thinking about this book and the five dollars I wasted buying it and I'm getting angrier. Author, if you are reading, take some courses and if you're going to put this shit into the world, at least make it well written. There's this whole thing going on with barely literate indie authors pumping book after book into the atmosphere hoping to make enough to pay the rent on their shitty apartments, but it's ruining it for those of us who love reading. Stop short changing us and hoping the shock value will keep people reading. Do yourself a favour and get an editor, learn some basic writing skills, and stop bilking people out of their hard earned cash because you're greedy. Don't publish until you're able to send a clean manuscript into the world.

What in the ever loving fuck have I just read?! It was just insane. Like a train wreck that you just keep watching. I read this in one sitting, I couldn't put it down I was just transfixed.

I'd been in the mood for something dark and mind-fucky for a few days but nothing really held my interest. I was going to read Comfort Food again for the 7th or maybe 8th time but decided to give Roman a go. I'm so glad I did! 5 demented stars!

Jesus was this dark. Definitely a huge mind fuck and exactly what I was in the mood for. I screamed and cried while reading this, it was seriously brilliant.

Roman was the perfect villain. I freaking loved him, hated him and desperately wanted to stab him in the eye, or the heart, or just plain stab him really. This is not a nice man, this is a demon and he deserves fiery death.

THAT ENDING. Tear my heart out why don't you, here have a piece, take it all! Now I need to watch a Disney movie before I can go to bed, this book has broken me.

ok. I was asked to see if I would read this because there were questions, or other's reviews saying "oh it's so dark".

For those who follow me.. this is MY review.

Okay, to be honest.. I am drunk. And it still was a struggle to finish this story, for me.

Have you ever heard something through the grapevine? something from someone who knew someone who knew someone? This is what what this story read like to me. Guess what? oh, there's this guy who's got some dark tendencies... and there's this girl~! yea, she's his captive for a while and they fall in love, you know? oh yea, did I mention he's killed a few girls? Oh, he's still pretty bad. Let me tell you about what I heard! whips her here and there. I can't believe she still loves him, you know? my goodness. Oh yea, and then...

This is how this entire story read to me.

Like a cliff notes of a Hollywood script that only has less than 2 hours of movie material to crunch everything in?

Yes, sometimes there's a long internal monologue. Guess how bad I can really be? they compare me to satan! Let me tell you about myself and my "demons".

But... how can READERs really connect to this? Do I expect the author to have gone through specific things (in reality) in order to make it MORE REAL? no. Some authors just have this talent regardless. This story though.. I feel like I'm reading a text book about how bad something was, you know? yeah, it sucks. Yeah, I feel bad. But I just CANNOT connect? Because I cannot FEEL or SEE what the victim is going through. This is how fiction stories SHINE vs text books.

You know how we connect (usually)? It's when, we, almost are able to live through it WITH the victim. You feel? This is how darkness is born. Not through campfire stories...but through... dragging us listeners THROUGH the darkness. LIKE WE WERE THERE. This plunges a story into darkness... not the "concept of" darkness or just "dark themes".

I'm honestly not trying to be negative. But it's truth.

Reading ABOUT dark themes...is not the same as BEING DRUG through the darkness WITH them.

This is truly how I connect with "dark reads". Does it give me the feels? Do I feel like ... I'm stuck in that cage with them? Do I feel that pain seeping through my pores with rubbing salt in the wounds... just to keep feeling it a week later when MORE is to come. The fear of what is to come. The yearning for the end to come because I'm not sure how much more of this I can take. How much my soul would survive through this? The unexpected.. but I'M THERE with them. you know?

By 50% of this book.. I knew.. I just KNEW... this was NOT going to be the story for me. I just can't connect. I'm trying. I'M TRYING. Gosh.. I had to start drinking and speeding up Siri to read the book to me to get through.

I hate writing these kinds of reviews.. .. because, it's really not worth my thoughts and time. But I know there are those who are waiting to see what I feel about it.

I hate giving authors below a 3 star review. So here I am, giving this book THE BENEFIT of the doubt. *3 stars*

The concept of the book was there! I give the author that. But you can tell... the details were in where the author truly connected to (like a wedding). But the details were severely lacking where it would have made this a true "dark" read. The details... it make a difference. It makes the story.

Again, I'm not asking the author to have gone through certain atrocities in order to write out the victim's first person POV...but at least try. Instead, I'm left with holes in time? oh yes, there was torture...but months later... it was still bad. Yes, she hurt... but she loved him regardless. And then, months later..

HOW CAN I POSSIBLY CONNECT to this story when there are lapses in times like this? and there were many...

Okay, Okay... I'm going to stop now. I will save my words for other books I have lined up on my TBR.

I apologize for rambling. But...THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I CANNOT WRITE 3 STAR REVIEWS.

Yo, some authors inspire me to write poetry..even when I'm drunk beyond even seeing the keyboard.. This story is NOT one of them.

**For those who follow my reviews...this ranks about grey on my darkness scale (because of how the story was executed).**

Ok i'm not going to give this big review or anything all i am going to say, all this book deserves from me is a DO NOT READ.
Roman is trash and not the good smutty kind of trash no the heroine gets brutally raped repeatedly to the point where she bleeds horribly as well as getting cut up and beaten repeatedly and all she says is:

“At night I wake murmuring my undying love for a man who cannot love, yet still I remain naïvely hopeful, praying while in this purgatory I’ve adapted and began to learn to survive within.”

And the heroine is a god damn cop why the fuck isn't she fighting him grab something to bash him over the head with and run run run.

This book is fucked up i didn't know books like this existed i was expecting a idk a not so dark and disturbing read i should have read the reviews because this shit is sick.

The hero needs to be shot btw he murdered 12 girls.

The heroine is a pathetic bitch (your a cop fight back bitch).

Please be careful if you read this story, you will regret it.

13% DNF
This thing doesn't even deserve 1 star.

~*Twisted Sisters Book Reviews*~

I couldn't put this book down. If you love a dark read, this is it, from beginning to end and everywhere in between. Kimber, you fucking nailed it.

"Every sin I commit, each life I end, every soul I purchased to watch on gratifying amusement as it fades put. I have done with whole and complete intentions...of watching my sins and transgressions affect and alter the life of others "

In the fourth paragraph Roman is talking about how he raped the girl he took to prom, in the fifth paragraph he is talking about how he killed her and then he proceeds to say he was attempting to make the experience memorable. woah...let me get a cup of coffee, I'm pulling an all nighter.
My heart sank when Heather introduced herself to Roman. I thought "You stupid stupid girl, what are you doing? " she knew what she was doing and she let you know it.

" I wonder if she realized her little rant, "I'll plow down these gates with my car!" is what caused me to open the gate not only to my home but also to the gates of hell. "

I can't wait for the next book, hopefully it answers some questions.

Omg, I don't even know where to begin. There were so many emotions going through me while I read this book. From the moment I first read Roman's introduction, I knew I would soon be going on a very dark, twisted journey down the rabbit hole to Hell. This story is filled with extreme violence, brutality and abuse. Roman is definitely NOT your typical dark, book boyfriend read. Roman is a twisted, evil, and sadistic Motherf**ker. This book should be read with extreme caution. No fairy tales or HEAs here. Be sure to have Roman's Redemption (Roman's Trilogy 2) on hand. This book's cliff hanger is brutal!
