Can she melt the heart of a stone-cold mafia boss?
Amara Moonfall is in way over her head.
When her witch coven is threatened, Amara is forced to go undercover as a bartender at a nightclub operated by the most notorious vampire mafia family in the city.
It’s a dangerous game. Thrust out of her cozy life into a dark underworld, Amara has to conquer bloodthirsty vampires, family feuds…and a captivating mafia boss with a heart of ice.
Celine Côté is the eldest progeny of the most powerful vampire in the city. She runs the family business with an iron fist, but can’t get out from her Creator’s shadow.
Eager to prove herself, Celine goes head-to-head with the rival vampire boss. But she puts everything she loves at risk, including Amara.
Neither of them realize that there’s an even bigger threat.
A threat that will make them question where their loyalty lies…
And whether they will sacrifice it all for love.
If you love ice queens and enemies-to-lovers (with a secret identity twist!), you will devour this sapphic vampire mafia romance. It is the first book of the Fangs and Feuds trilogy, and can be read as a standalone.
This series takes place in the same world as Covens and Clans, and includes many of the same characters. This series can be read separately from Covens and Clans, but does include spoilers.
this book is intended for mature audiences and includes sexual content, depictions of violence, and adult themes. Reader discretion is advised.
Amara, a witch who goes undercover as a bartender to spy on a powerful vampire mafia. The High Priestess of her coven sends Amara because she is concerned about their safety. At the vampire club, she meets the eldest daughter, Celine. Amara has reasons for hating vampires, and she tries to fight the attraction to Celine.
Celine, a 300-year-old vampire in the most powerful vampire mafia in the city. Celine has morals about killing humans, but she tries to hide them under her tough exterior. Celine feels the attraction that Amara feels and things start to get spicy.
There’s angst, enemies-to-lovers, ice queen, a sprinkle of jealousy, action, and, of course, steamy sex scenes. It was a pretty good read.
Meh, more like 2.5 out 5 for me. It wasn’t terrible but definitely not a read again for me. The characters felt flat for most of the story. Celine had a little character growth/depth in the last half of the book but other than that you basically know nothing about any of these characters, main or side. As for the romance aspect, it was ok, lots of one night stand interactions but you don’t really feel the chemistry that these two FMCs are supposed to have, there’s no yearning or buildup, hardly any emotion is shown on page (or I missed it) especially since weeks/ months are supposedly passing while they are sleeping together/dating. Then all of a sudden bam “I love you”s just hit you in the face…wha?? Like I said, it was ok, but probably won’t continue the series. It just didn’t grab me the way I was hoping it would.
I like the couple and specially the family dynamic of Celine, Renata and Lexi (and the fourth sibling) cuz it’s the family Amara needed.
I don’t like the High Priestess. God she’s a fucking asshole with the broomstick up her ass. She’s the old bitch who can’t stand without proving she’s the boss and right when she should be talking care of her witches instead. She just wants glory days and the solution is stirring up a hornet’s nest. I hate her. Amara should be the High Priestess.
The plot is predictable and all that but the characters keep you going cuz it’s easy slipping into the story thanks to them.
I will read the rest of the books and add the author to the sapphic authors list to be aware of.
When I fist started reading this book I didn’t think I was going to enjoy the writing style or the characters. Upon first meet of Celine and her sister Renata thy seemed like a bunch of teenagers and their conversation style seemed very pedestrian. Then…something changed. I guess it was when she finally noticed Amara or when Amara noticed Celine.
It started to take on a richness as thy became target and heat seeking missile alway orbiting around one another until their passions finally collide. And it was quite the explosion. From there, there was no going back.
These two has become two of my favorite people. I was totally invested in them having a HEA. I am always team Vampire and rarely team Witch. Although I really liked this witch. I liked everything about her. I could see how Celine couldn’t stay away from her.
I really enjoyed this book, even though it never quite reached its full potential for me.
The plot was solid and engaging and the vibes absolutely worked. The mix of mafia and supernatural elements was genuinely fun and felt like it should have been a knockout combination. I liked the characters and was interested in what was happening, but I didn’t feel as emotionally invested as I wanted to be.
My main issue is that the story needed more. More development, more detail, and more time to evolve before the ending. It felt like it wrapped up just as it was getting really good, which was a little frustrating because the foundation was there.
Overall, this was an enjoyable read with a strong concept and great atmosphere. I had a good time with it and appreciated what it was trying to do, even if it didn’t quite reach the level I was hoping for.
A few months ago i was desperately searching for a good vampire book and i couldn’t find anything but this has scratched such an itch (and i fear has started me back off in my vampire phase) its got everything from enemies to lovers, angst, secret identities, mafia vibes, and a little bit of spice if that’s something you like.
i’m tempted to read the rest of the authors books but we will have to see where the future takes me.
A new series that held me spellbound to the very end. Vampires, Witches and intense rollercoaster emotions with some angs, to keep you on edge. A 5🌟 for this enchanted, 🔥 and sizzeling enemies to lovers and a HEA that they had to fight to have.
New to me author, great writing, captivating story, totally lovable main characters, what's not to love? This is an excellent book and I recommend it whole heartedly. Please give it a go.
Wow, I love this book. What a wonderful read, excitement, blood and magic. Of course don’t forget love. Love is the most important part of any story. I really enjoyed this book from cover to cover. I am sure you are going to love it too
Another great spicy read about a witch and a vampire whose families are at war. Interesting take on vampire family dynamics. I really enjoyed the relationship between the MCs and the relationship between vampire and her sisters.
